Infinite loop of the user folder...

Hello. I have a strange problem with my osx 10.10.15, seems my user folder inside my folder of user... or something like that. Please, look at the picture!

It seems that your computer is not located your file correctly.

Try reindexing of Spotlight

Featured: how re-indexing of folders or volumes - Apple Support

In step 4, you add all of the hard disk (usually called Macintosh HD). This will cause Spotlight to "forget" where your files are. When you remove the hard drive in step 6, Spotlight is obliged to locate your files again. This can take awhile depending on the hard disk and the number of files, but you can check the status by clicking the projector at the top right

Let me know how it goes!

    It is a loss of a lot of time for me.  When opening explores, it automatically expands the users folder that I can navigate and collapse to get to where I really want to go.  How can I disable this annoying behavior?

    Go to start / computer and you will have a view that is not developed (at least mine isn't) - it shows C:\ and does not yet show the subfolders as users.  Or if you want just your own profile information, click on and it will give you just the files and folders in your profile (not developed).

    I hope this helps.

  • How can I make a folder available only to a user (as the user folder)?

    I moved my library files and downloads folder to another partition. To do this, I did the "Users" folder I created "userA" application folder. I moved all the folders in the library in it. Everything was fine, but after the passage of 'b' user account, I found "UserB" can access all the ' wear "s newly made of the folders in the library.

    Is there a way to "wear out" folder invites a password entry window when "userB" or other users on the same computer try to access it, just like the original user folder in the original partition doesn't? (If "UserB" tries to access "userA" s original user folder in the C drive, it displays a password entry window asked to type ' wear "s login password.)

    You can change your authorization file to allow only the folder owner read the files.  If your door-inherited certain permissions from its parent, you can open the advanced permissions dialog box to remove the legacy. See http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/what-are-permissions#1TC=windows-7 for more details.

    Note there is no defense against the directors. For example at the password prompt, if the user enters an identifier of the administrator, the authorization of your file could be modified to allow access.  Administrators have full control over the system.

  • How to restore the default permissions (for example, the users folder) in windows 7?

    Dear windows users,

    Recently, I messed up the permissions of the files. What happened is that I took my laptop hard drive (win 7 64 bit system) in a USB external hard drive case. Then I get the USB into another windows office 7. I went through the users (perhaps of other files) folder in the hard disk of laptop on the desktop via a USB connection. It is very likely that the Office has changed the permissions of the files.
    I put the hard drive to my laptop, but some applications gives error like access denied messages.
    Is there a safe way to fix them? How to reset the default permissions?
    Thank you.
    BTW, have you worked with permissions of folders? Do you know what happens if permission to c:\users is messed up?

    When permissions in a subfolder in the users folder are confused so the user will not be able to run some programs, to create, modify or delete some files. The folder property affected, followed by assigning appropriate permissions, is usually sufficient to solve the problem.

    My file 'Users' is 13 Gig.

    I don't think you can move the Users folder, but you can disable Hibernate and move your pagefile to free space, and you can move your Documents, music, pictures and videos folders.  You can uninstall some programs, and then reinstall them using the custom option and put them on the D: drive too.

    Good luck.

  • ORA-01436: CONNECT loop in the user data when the delimited string splitting by the

    I'm trying to split a string into records. The values are three characters more '-' with a limit of 12 values. The values themselves are a combination of two data, the first being two characters, a.

    The following example translates: ORA-01436: CONNECT BY a loop in the user data

    WITH
        Data(Code, Datum)
    AS
        (
         SELECT 'VGCU3VM', '00V-YYG-BVC-PIU-DV3-EVV-TVM-' FROM Dual UNION ALL

    Remove the 'Code = Code PREREQUISITE"clause, to avoid the error, but too many records are returned, because nothing is to limit the records in their own groups.

    The following works:

    What causes ORA-01436?

    Hello

    Depending on your version, you can add another condition to your CONNECT BY clause.

    It works in Oracle 11.2.0.3.0:

    SELECT

    Point of reference,

    LEVEL,

    SUBSTR (Datum, ((LEVEL-1) * 4) + 1, 2),

    SUBSTR (Datum, ((LEVEL-1) * 4) + 3, 1)

    Of

    Data

    CONNECT

    Code = Code PRIOR

    AND LEVEL<= length(datum)="">

    AND PRIOR SYS_GUID () IS NOT NULL-* ADDED *.

    ;

    Thanks for the display of the data of the sample; This is really useful!

    In addition, relational databases are designed to have 1 piece of information in each column of each row, not a list delimited by up to 12 points.  It is so basic to the design of database he called the first normal form.  You're going to solve a lot of problems even before they occur if you paste to first normal form and change the table structure to resemble the result set of this query.  (Maybe that's exactly why you're doing this query.)

    OF competities

    )

    START WITH parent IS NULL

    CONNECT BY PRIOR child = parent

    ;

    Hello

    When you perform a CONNECT BY query, you must have an identifier unique to each child.  You use numbers that are unique to each table, but are no longer unique when you UNION the paintings together.  When the query finds children 1, the fact that average organisatie_id = 1, or does that mean seizoen_id = 1, or does this mean competetite_id = 1?

    Etbin suggested you change data.  Which can be difficult; It might not even be possible.  In addition, you must make sure that the new IDS are unique.  When you assign advent = 10 to a node, for example, you must be sure that 10 is not an organisatie_id.

    Here is another solution that is guarranted to generate unique IDS, without changing the actual tables:

    SELECT LPAD (' ', LEVEL * 2, ' ') | Naam AS display

    LEVEL AS lvl

    DE)

    SELECT NULL AS parent

    organisatie_id AS child

    , 1 AS the level of

    naam

    To nineham

    UNION ALL

    SELECT organisatie_id AS parent

    seizoen_id AS child

    , 2 AS the level of

    naam

    OF seizoenen

    UNION ALL

    SELECT seizoen_id AS parent

    Child AS NULL

    , 3 AS the level of

    naam

    OF competities

    )

    START WITH parent IS NULL

    AND level = 1

    CONNECT BY PRIOR child = parent

    AND layer = FIRST + 1

    ;

    The composite key formed by your original ID, and the new level number is unique.

    Note that the query above is exactly what you have posted, with the addition of the lines that refer to level.

    Hello

    CONNECT_BY_ISCYCLE is a pseudo-column that you can use in a query of CONNECTION BY NOCYCLE.  It is separated from the CONNECT BY clause.

    Try this:

    Select code, "BREAKS", person

    , SYS_CONNECT_BY_PATH (old_id, "/") AS path

    from table_x

    where CONNECT_BY_ISCYCLE = 1

    Start by old_id not in)

    Select new_id

    from table_x

    )

    CONNECT BY NOCYCLE Old_id = new_id PRIOR

    AND code = code PRIOR

    AND 'CASE' = 'BOX' PRIOR

    PER person = person PREREQUISITE

    ;

    I hope that answers your question.
    If not, post a small example data (CREATE TABLE and only relevant columns, INSERT statements) and also publish outcomes from these data.
    Explain, using specific examples, how you get these results from these data.
    Always say what version of Oracle you are using (for example, 11.2.0.2.0).

    However, if I try for an another person_id, for which a user receives an error in one part of the Oracle EBS, I get this error:

    ORA-01436: CONNECT loop in the user data

    I'm guessing there is a loop of supervisor happening somewhere, but I don't know how to determine where it might happen.

    I was wondering if there is any way I can change the SQL code to be able to work out where the loop can be, as there are about 50 people involved in Ministry to this user and I have been through all their records and can not see a loop to look through the Oracle HR screens.

    I know it's a 'big ask' to ask a vague question about some oracle SQL, so apologies for that.

    Any advice much appreciated.

    Thank you

    Hello

    To see loops, do something like this:

    SELECT     SYS_CONNECT_BY_PATH (person_id, '/')     AS path
    FROM      applsys.fnd_user           u
    ,      hr.per_all_assignments_f      h
    WHERE      u.employee_id           = h.person_id
    AND     CONNECT_BY_ISCYCLE     = 1
    CONNECT BY NOCYCLE     PRIOR person_id = supervisor_id
         AND           SYSDATE      BETWEEN     effective_start_date
                             AND      effective_end_date
    ;

    If you would care to post CREATE TABLE and instructions INSERT for some samples, so I could test it.

    Note there is no START WITH clause.

    If, for example, Jones is the architect of Scott, Scott is the main contractor of Adams and Adams is the architect of Jones (much to other lines is not involved in a loop), then displays 3 rows of output, such as

    PATH
    ---------------------
    Jones/Scott/Adams
    Scott/Adams/Jones
    Adams/Jones/Scott

    Moreover, all the same CONNECT BY queries on these tables can be a lot faster if you've made the join and date filtering in a separate subquery first:

    WITH     combined_data     AS
    (
         SELECT     person_id, supervisor_id
         FROM      applsys.fnd_user           u
         ,      hr.per_all_assignments_f      h
         WHERE      u.employee_id      = h.person_id
         AND     SYSDATE      BETWEEN     effective_start_date
                        AND      effective_end_date
    )
    SELECT     SYS_CONNECT_BY_PATH (person_id, '/')     AS path
    FROM     combined_data
    WHERE     CONNECT_BY_ISCYCLE     = 1
    CONNECT BY NOCYCLE     PRIOR person_id = supervisor_id
    ;

    If there is a loop, then will the combination of NOCYCLE, CONNECT_BY_ISCYCLE will show?

    Thank you

    Hello

    Apparently, one or more of the "SP" lines are at the origin of the problem.
    The WHERE clause is applied after the CONNECT BY is finished, saying:

    select * from (
        SELECT connect_by_root code AS code_root,
            CODE,
            CODE_DESC,
            UP_CODE ,
            CONNECT_BY_ISCYCLE AS ISCYCLE
          FROM DI_CODE_LEVEL
          WHERE TYPE_CODE='SP'
            CONNECT BY NOCYCLE PRIOR CODE=UP_CODE
        )
    where ISCYCLE>0;

    is equivalent to

    select * from (
        SELECT connect_by_root code AS code_root,
            CODE,
            CODE_DESC,
            UP_CODE ,
            CONNECT_BY_ISCYCLE AS ISCYCLE
          FROM DI_CODE_LEVEL
            CONNECT BY NOCYCLE PRIOR CODE=UP_CODE
        )
    WHERE    TYPE_CODE = 'SP'
    AND     ISCYCLE   > 0;

    To see where the loop occurs, you must include the lines where type_code = "SP".

    When you debug "ORA-01436: CONNECT IN a loop in the user data ', view SYS_CONNECT_BY_PATH (uk,...), where the United Kingdom is a unique key. That will tell you much more than just the root information. You might want this:

    SELECT  connect_by_root code                AS code_root,
            CODE,
            CODE_DESC,
            UP_CODE
    ,     SYS_CONNECCT_BY_PATH (code, '/')     AS path          -- For debugging
    ,       CONNECT_BY_ISCYCLE                AS ISCYCLE     -- For debugging
    FROM      DI_CODE_LEVEL
    -- WHERE TYPE_CODE = 'SP' -- Commented out for debugging
    where      ISCYCLE > 0          -- For debugging

    I hope that answers your question.
    If not, post a small example data (CREATE TABLE and only relevant columns, INSERT statements), and the results you want from this data.
    Explain how you get these results from these data.
    Always tell what version of Oracle you are using.

  • Why is the user folder so big?

    When I check the size of my file user (only one on this computer), Get Info indicates that it contains 147 concerts.  When I read the information on each of the 11 folders inside my user folder, they add only up to 75 concerts.  Why is there a difference of 72 concert between the file and the amount of its content?

    Thank you

  • Replace the user folder?

    I had a drive hard failure and then spent two days time Machine * (restore failed over and over again) before finally giving the place and moved manually on my supported up to data (ugh).

    I moved on my user folder, but it is not recognized in the system (users and groups), just the new preferences (another name) that I created when you install a new copy of El Capitan (former user folder is to El Capitan).

    I don't want to create a new user with the same name as my old username in the fear of it being deleted (tons of data that took forever to copy).

    Someone at - it experience with this situation?

    Advice would be appreciated - nearly three days of no productivity... I've gotta get back operational.

    Thank you in advance,

    Rick...

    Move this folder to one location other than/Users /, then create a new user. The items in the folder /Users/ are regular folders; the actual list of accounts is stored elsewhere.

  • migration assistant for only the user folder

    I'm helping a student who left a Time Machine backup College but suffered a hard disk failure in his MacBook Pro here. We can't clone or make a backup hard drive TM or run the recovery partition. All we could do was to copy the user on an external hard drive folder.

    Apple replace the drive under warranty and installation of system software. When we reboot the machine that is repaired, we will be able to use setup assistant/migration assistant to transfer the folder to the user as it will not be recognized as another backup Mac or MC? Otherwise, what is the best way to get it on the laptop and recognized as a user it?

    (She needs to work on its data before returning to the University is not an option to wait until she is back with his backup TM)

    As far as I know the Migration can be done with just the folder of the user. What I would say is that you copy the text of the drive backed up by a folder. In other words, open the two folders of Documents and copy the text from the backup folder of Documents to the Documents from the computer folder. This, for everything except the library. Most of what is in the library will be restored as the computer is reconfigured and the applications are put back in place.

  • Move the Users folder to another drive or partition under Vista 64

    I want to move my full users folder to another drive or partition under Vista 64-bit.

    I found these instructions to do with Windows 7 and confirm that they work very well on a Windows 7 computer I set up yesterday.
    ROBOCOPY, RMDIR, MKLINK programs all exist in Vista and have all the command line switches such as specified in section of Windows 7.
    I want to use junction points as described in the article, rather than messing around with search-and-replace in registry. The use of junction points is cleaner and easier to reverse if I ever need to move the Users back folder to its original location.
    These same instructions for Windows 7 works with Vista 64 bit to move my users folder to a different hard disk or partition?

    Well, I couldn't wait any longer for a response.

    So I gave him a test and Windows 7 instructions work perfectly with Vista 64 - bit word. Hope it will be useful to someone else.
  • What is the AppData folder in the user folder?

    Thank you

    The Roaming folder is used for the data is copied from/to a server when the user logs on power in a domain environment. This allows the user to access their data from any computer in the domain.

    Folders are used to them for data specific to a particular computer. LocalLow is used by programs that run with a low integrity, such as Internet Explorer in protected mode. This is a security feature that prevents the file system is accessible from the Internet.
