Ingestion of cadences Multi via prelude or SOUL

Anyone know if there is a way to view a list of files in the prelude ingest the window and see how often each clip is?

Because you must apply a "Preset" coding which has a rate of specfic I am at a loss for how to bring footage in which may have different rates by coil.

I really wish there was a source of match for ProRes option. A God who would make things much better.

Thank you!

Frame rate is an option that can be displayed in mode list with "viewers of directory" as AVCHD, P2, XDCAM and Canon XF. Switch view list, using the button in the bottom left of the middle section of the dialog ingest (1. screenshot below). Don't forget that the "View As" menu at the top of the middle section is to see your clips as P2, XDCAM, AVCHD, etc. instead of "Leadership Directory" (2 screenshot below). When in list mode, you can choose the columns that appear by clicking on the arrow pointing to right of the middle section of the dialog ingest (3 screenshot below).

If you use a different format which currently does not support cadence display in dialog ingest, please file a feature request to the team of prelude to the http://adobe.com/go/wish

Please inform the SOUL team to http://adobe.com/go/wish/

SOUL CC adds source of correspondence for some formats settings, so let them know that you want this feature to QuickTime/Prores too. :-)

    The software supplied with the meter has enough summary documentation.  When I tried to open the software, a window pops up saying that the port com 1 cannot open. I used baud rate settings that the software manual recommends but no help. Then, I uninstalled the COM ports. Now they are gone and I don't know how to re - install.

    UPDATE: I've read elsewhere that the BIOS should have the com port activated, so I went into the BIOS and of course it was off. I suspect that it is off all the time, because the software failed to connect to it when I first installed it. As soon as I have it set to com 1 everything works.

  • To pause an excerpt in prelude to stop Media Encoder encoding

    I get nine clips in Media Encoder from the prelude function ingest.  When I type 'K' to stop to set an In point - on a clip in the preview window of the prelude/Ingest, it also stops the Media Encoder.  This slows down the encoding process and if not noticed, could stop him for along period of time.  Is it possible to lock this point, so 'stop' does not work on both applications at the same time?

    Hi trigs.

    Thanks for trying the Prelude workflows and highlighting the problem.

    I got your message, I tried the following:

    • Transcoded clips to ingest as a prelude. SOUL would begin the transcoding.
    • Reopen dialogue to ingest as a prelude.
    • I tried JKL keys on any clip to the previewed image and click on the K button.
    • Observe current transcoding in the SOUL.

    I found no significant difference. Maybe I'm missing something here. Please highlight if I need a few different steps.

    I also checked key hotkeys SOUL and found no shortcut for K -key, so I don't think it should stop transcoding.

    Can you cite the following to give me a better idea on the problem:

    • version of prelude you are working with the help--> on Adobe prelude
    • OS version
    • The problem occurs with only specific file types? If so, can you share these files?
    • This happens all the time or sometimes?

    During this time, do not use K key to the shuttle stop. You can directly use I or keys O to starting with the J/L keys points.

    I hope it helps.

  • Looking for a workflow to ingest and compress weekly live recording

    I use Premiere Pro to edit a program/live television Church stream that soon every week, and I'm looking for a workflow solution minimize data size because it very quickly becomes costly.

    My recording setup means I go out every Sunday with a Live Mix (~ 80GB) and 3 individual camera Feeds (~ 150 GB each). Because I'm using a Blackmagic Hyperdeck Studio and 3 Hyperdeck, most compressed shuttles I record in ProRes 422 LT East but at this stage, all I need to edit and deliver is H.264.

    I would love to go out Sunday with all my feeds to the H.264 format to store and edit with - is there a function of logging/swallowed in the Adobe Suite, that can make me do that easily?

    Thank you!

    H264 is not edit friendly and depending on the computer, it can slow down the editing performance. also, there will be a loss of quality of the transcode. If you do not care or will make a presentation to the web, it won't matter. Prelude is program from adobe for logging and ingestion and transcode images via adobe media encoder. If you want to connect and enter metadata in the first with the new h264 files, you can convert files using adobe media encoder and without prelude. Another option is to edit the prores files and export the final video in h264. to save space with the archiving of projects, you can use first project manager or adobe media encoder to transcode to h264 sequences.

  • Option for models Tag share via CC unavailable.

    During the session from Adobe Max of Jason Levine, "sort, select, cut: basic registration, Ingesting and approximate cutting with Prelude (S2446)", it illustrates the sharing and import models Tag from the creative cloud (see screenshot). For some reason, I am unable to do so; Creative cloud icons are not yet present in the Panel "Tags" (see second screenshot). I am connected to creative cloud through the desktop application and have rebooted the Prelude and my system without result. I also tried to "authenticate" my account CC the drop ' Prelude/metadata/authenticate... Cloud '. "(third-party screen capture), but when I enter my username/password name nothing happens. Has anyone else encountered this problem?

    I'm running prelude CC 2014 (2014.2) on Mac OS X 10.10.2. Other services CC, such as 'Libraries' in Photoshop CC Panel, are work / synchronization with CC. The problem seems to be limited to the prelude.

    Presented by Jason Levine (Adobe)

    Hi David,

    Thanks to the improvements made to the backend creative cloud after the release of Prelude 3.0, the option 'share to creative cloud' live has been disabled. You can still share it to the creative cloud using "save under" and save to the local folder of creative cloud. The model is automatically synchronized on your creative cloud account. You can also search in spotlight on 'TagTemplates' to search for the folder that prelude records templates in default and copy and paste the template into the local folder of creative cloud. This method avoids the duplication in your model tag panel. We expect to solve the problem between Prelude and creative cloud for direct sync in the next version. Sorry for the inconvenience. Thank you!

  • A beginner... need for basic assistance

    I see that my camera Sony's AVCHD a 'private' of the file yields that, once seen from within Premiere Pro or prelude of yields. MTS files which can then be swallowed. So far so good.

    My question is help on the most basic level, to help me get started with Prelude. All I want to do is to get a glimpse of these files in the prelude. They keyboard shortcut to place point doesn't seem to be a simple 'I' or 'o' as it is as a prelude - is this true? I'm having trouble getting this simple step to work. Then, I would like to make subclips and I see the number key 1 is the marker for the beginning of a sub-clup, but what is the marker for the out point of a subclip? The interface is nice and this could be an excellent software to learn, but this is easier to do in Premiere Pro and just eliminate the need for Prelude?

    Maybe I need a video tutorial, but also, perhaps the questions I ask here are too basic for a tutorial.

    Can someone please help me with just these questions early so I can see the value in using prelude?

    TIA,

    Ken

    Ken > prelude allow you to ingest your assets (either via Basic linking, copying or transcoding), batch rename them it's make and apply a system of metadata personalized for them. You can't do these things first. In addition, the development of interface on logging, which makes this task easier.

    And out of the points only have meaning in the capture Panel, where you can specify an in or an exit if you do not want the whole media to be ingested. The shortcuts are indeed I and O. You do not change anything that happened first edit as a prelude, so to point on media ingested is not really logical, use subelements markers instead. I and O in prelude is used to set these points and exit markers.

  • Backup of media card

    Hello.  I was wondering if someone can explain how to back up or unload my card holders using prelude.  I want to ensure verification that happened, but there is nothing that tells me if the MD5 comparison was made,

    Thank you!

    Hi Dan Rourke,.

    Thanks for the question. Prelude check comparison MD5 for each file ingested.

    Open the cover of the events in the window--> events. You should see a message from check for each file that is ingested.

    In fact, there are 3 ways with which one can do the checking of the files transferred; MD5, file size and Bit by bit comparison.

  • Lightroom RAW mobile

    LIghtroom for iOS still does not support RAW files, or did I miss something?

    If this application can do less than the built in app foto it is IMHO useless for her. Unless you are shooting Jpeg only - but then you probably don't need LR either.

    I found a blog entry from Tom Hogerty on that - unfortunately I can ' t answer it. These are the questions, he mentioned and I must say that I do not understand one of them:

    • We know that our customers often like to shoot in raw format.  It is a large amount of data and experience ingest on current iPads via a Camera Connection Kit is quite slow.
    • The operation of the film on iOS, an application like mobile Lightroom would need to replicate the storage required by the images of a photographer then leave customers with a clumsy removal on film experience to save space.
    • The bandwidth required to move the originals of the iPad with our servers and return to your desktop would be substantial and slow.

    Camera connection kit is fast enough. It works with RAW files as a charm. I have no idea why Adobe should concern the material part. Not at all.

    Yes please rather to duplicate the storage RAW supporting any. I am the user and I want to be in control. I could remove photos in the camera, if I want to. I could buy an iPad with more memory. Yet once, it is not concerned Adobe. .

    Bandwidth? I must necessarily synchronize when I have limited bandwidth. And Yes, it's ok for me, the user to wait when trying to synchronize a large number of data through a bad connection. I want to decide if I want to do it or not. I don't want Adobe to decide that for me.

    These

    its as lame excuses.

    What do you think?

    I think that the Lightroom Mobile workflow is designed to work differently you expect to operate. Lightroom mobile synchronizes with the images that are on the main computer. Adaptations using Lightroom for mobile will be synchronized with the master photos. Photos of masters who reside on the main computer are those that really matter. The files in the cloud are simply copies that are there to enable the mobile edition.

  • URGENT! MTS long files of glitch

    I tried on several (existing and new) projects, import of long extracts MTS (10 minutes +) in Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2014.2 [8.2.0] (not in 2015). I have a recurring issue when importing MTS files. IF there are 2 or more segments/clips that make up a record of MTS clip, PP reads all of the segments/clips as the first clip

    For example

    Test_recording. MTS =30 minutes (10 minutes-marriage, 10 minutes - marriage, 10 mins-Post wedding reception)

    Phase 1. New project

    Phase 2. Import "Test_recording.mts".

    Phase 3. Read; MTS file consists of 3 files on the timeline

    Phase 4. Problem; Repeat the files #2 and #3 as a #1 file. Which means that I see the wedding ceremony.

    MTS file structure

    AVCHD / BDMV / STREAM / Test_recording.mts

    It's going to be the same that any laptop at low prices in the range of Euro 300 - okay-ish with simple stuff, but quickly grinding to a halt. the lack of sufficient for caches and files storage space temporary won't be a problem and you can forget to control external devices. You know, that a single USB port would probably be absorbed by an external drive really put your files and there is simply no way to connect any additional material that you plan to use. And using a hub would cause a delay and delay... This isn't just a computer for serious video production - not so much processing power, but all the problems with devices and storage.

  • How can I make my AVCHD mov. files of work first pro?

    I used the Panasonic HDC-SD60 for a short film for the work.  This has on about 40 clamps with about 3 hours of footage however when I import files .mov from the audio media browser seems fine but the film is in a kind of slow-mo and out of sync. I want to change and make the post production using Adobe pro and AfterEffects first. However, the film seems to work in final cut X. There is no lag with playback on quicktime either. What is this project? I read on variable frame rates, it is seems more common among iPhones and tablets? Is this something that the panasonic do as well? Is there a solution? Or should I jump ship and settle for a somewhat more limited features of Final Cut?

    Copy the card hard disk. Do not use iphoto or lightroom, but ingest directly in first via the media browser.

    See how it will work.

  • Create cell of the array in ActionScript

    Hi all. Having a small problem hope that someone has already solved.

    So I have 2 ArrayCollections with the same format but different data:

    public var santiagoPast:ArrayCollection = new ArrayCollection([)

    {Month: "Ene", fresh: 1000, Kiosco:10, Web: 256, Movil:87, No_detectado:6, Sin_informacion:10},

    ........

    {Month: "Dic", fresh: 195, Kiosco:320, Web: 100, Movil:33, No_detectado:5, Sin_informacion:5}

    ]);

    public var santiagoNow:ArrayCollection = new ArrayCollection([)

    {Month: "Ene", fresh: 800, Kiosco:10, Web: 256, Movil:87, No_detectado:6, Sin_informacion:10},

    ......

    {Month: "Apr", fresh: 600, Kiosco:78, Web: 234, Movil:78, No_detectado:32, Sin_informacion:8}

    ]);

    So, with them, I create a data graphic Multi via ActionScript. The first data: "santiagoPast" will be LineSeries and the second: "santiagoNow" will be ColumnSeries.

    So, also via ActionScript I create a checkbox for each series. In this way, the user can check or uncheck the box to show or hide this series in the chart.

    Im trying not to create a box for the ColumnSerie, but the only way that works of the ir is when I create a checkbox for all series. The code where I created the box is as follows:

    private function crearcheckbox (): void {}

    for each {(var serie:Series in linechart.series)

    combo: var checkbox = new CheckBox();

    combo. Data = series;

    combo.ID = serie.id;

    combo.Label = combo.data.yField;

    combo.addEventListener (Event.CHANGE, cambio);

    comboboxes.addChild (combo);

    }

    }

    And I tried to change for each (var serie:Series in linechart.series) for each (var serie:LineSeries in linechart.series) but does not work.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks for your time!

    He solved adding:

    for each {(var serie:Series in linechart.series)

    If (series ColumnSeries) {}

    .............

    }

    }

    simple but didn t know that

  • How to create a multi camera raw cut with Prelude?

    I am new to CC and first ever used or before prelude.

    What is the best way to create a camera rough multi cut on Prelude?

    I started to create a rough cut of the camera 1 and for a while, I needed a different angle of each camera, 2, 3, or 4. To do this, what I ingest camera 2, 3 and 4 AND pick up this angle that I need OR is there a way I can have all 4 cameras synchronized to Prelude and easily move from an angle on the corner and cut into those I want? If so, how to do that?

    I have 7 hours of video on 4 different cameras and wonder if I should jump the prelude all together and start editing directly on the first Pro CC.

  • Adobe prelude not showing camera during ingestion of

    Hello world

    When I try to eat my camera in prelude, it does not show the camera in the directory pane. The camera is an EOS M which is directly connected to the computer via USB. I have not been able to find someone else with the same problem and it's getting quite annoying because I have to import the desktop first, and then ingest as a prelude.

    Any help with this would be appreciated.

    Tom

    Hi Tom,

    Prelude requires a mounted drive or the drive letter of access media. It does use the APi Windows OS photo.

    Most camera manufacturers provide software that will allow the camera to be discovered and mounted with a Windows drive letter. I'm currently traveling and did not have full access to my computer for a while to watch this last part for you.

    Another option would be to use a connected to your USB memory card reader. Card readers will certainly show as a drive letter and can be quite a bit faster in the time of file transfer as a camera directly connected to my experience.

    I hope this helps!

    Thank you
