Insert color color range effect

I try to add the color range effect to a layer and set the color for her. I tried

Var effects =.property("ADBE_Effect_Parade").addProperty [0] selected ("color range");

theEffect.property('Preview').setValue (color);

I get an error that there is no available for setting instructions.  Is it possible to update this effect in a script?

This property returns with a propertyValueType of PropertyValueType.NO_VALUE. So I think you're probably out of luck, unless perhaps you apply it as a preset.

  • How to use "Sélective" and "Color range" in the edition of video using Photoshop CC

    0 down vote favorite

I am very familiar in the use of "Sélective" and "Color range" on the image, but not on video. I have a video with a few yellow flowers moving because of the wind. I want to make this black and white video and change the yellow color of the flowers in red. I can manage to do everything except to change the yellow color in red. It is very simple on the image editing because I used to use "range of colors" to have the mask that contains all the yellow and then apply a hue/saturation layer on this mask. If I want to use the same logic on a video, I should have a layer to "color range" which create a mask dynamically on all video frames but I don't know how to do in Photoshop CC and even if it is possible. Can someone help me? Is there a simple way to do it? Thank you.

  • How to get this dull color overlay effect?

    Hey

I came across this dull color overlay effect that can be seen in the background of the image as an attachment. I can do more or less the rest of the stuff, I just need to know how to make the dull background overlay effect (green or any color) in Photoshop?

Image > > adjustments > > Variations helped a bit, but something still seemed to be missed!

    Thanx

Could also use a color overlay layer style. (Use of the overlay blend modes with varying opacities to get what you want). No destructive as well; You can return to it at any time. At the bottom of the Panel layers:

  • The color range selection

    Hello world

Can someone please clear up a problem I'm having with Photoshop. I start as I am a student of PS early.

When I try to adjust the color of a portion of an image, I create a hue/saturation layer and then go to the layer mask tab and click on the color range.

    I noticed two things:

    1. when I try to go back to the color range selection after OKing an adjustment... my additions will not be displayed in the mask. Is this normal?

    2. I can not activate the color range if I invert the mask first. The mask must be white, until I click color range for any selection is visible. Is the right one?

I have glitches with PS or is this normal?

    Thank you

    Daniel

If a couple of things here.

Based on your details, I can recreate the same question. If I have a H & S adjustment layer, use selection > color range to create a selection in this adjustment layer mask. But if I try to apply new range to select a color, it blackens my just mask or does not apply a update for the mask area. It seems that you have to actually reset the white mask.

So, I don't think that your system is glitching. It's just how this tool works. But I'm curious to what you do that drives this workflow. If you need convert/adjust a color, you can select this color spectrum in drop-down setting H & S layer options from the master to a specific hue. Then use the pipette to the left to select the color you want to change. That align with the value of the color you want to adjust in the sample interval. Now, move the Tint slider, and this should change. Now, what you do not want to change, just "dab" try it with a black brush on the layer mask to the value adjustment.

  • By selecting a color range

I had problems with this several times. When I go to a specific color and move to the color setting to select only he, color range picks up around the colors.
I have several adjustment layers on the top-do not know if it could have an impact on it.

I'll show you what I mean:

I want the white color broken image. So, I use the pipette, go to "sampled colors" in the color range, but then I see that the selection is actually - it:

See how its red/blues pick up and no stopping white section on the shoulder of the man? Why is this?

    Please and thank you.

  • Select the color range crashing Photoshop CC 2015

Just updated to Photoshop CC 2105. Photoshop crashes every time that I have use the shift for sample colors in the select color range. Using Windows 7. Someone knows how to solve?

Thanks, helped your description. I got it down. He established a 0 tolerance it does. When I set the tolerance to 1 he didn't do. While it is a bug, I had just set the tolerance to 1 if you really want to use 0 move it back after you have made the selection. I never use 0, I always feel like a few feathers. If I want something that lasts, I would use the magic wand tool. I'll have to see about this statement.

can you explain or even post an action please?

There is a filter named "HSB/HSL" that allows to convert a layer between STL, RGB and HSL color models. Who will give you the hue and saturation of the channels you can adjust and intersect to make masks of saturation to the beaches of shade limited in the RGB image. Or you can use Select > color range and cross his selection with a saturation channel.

The filter is an optional download for CS5 and CS6. (I don't know about previous Photoshop).

  • Select > color range, does not v13.1.1 on the retina display Mac

Y at - there a trick to getting the new color range selection feature to work on a Mac Book Pro of the retina?

I am quite familiar with the selection of the range of colors in the previous version of Photoshop and used regularly. I decided to try, as simply as possible, using a flat image (not layers) and try to choose the colors. I increased the contrast of the image in order to make the shadows and lights much easier to get out.

I explored setting the size of the sample at the sample up to 3 x 3 and 5 x 5. I also put my screen resolution to 2880 x 1800 (to reduce the possibility of problems of anti-aliasing).

It will not make any selection, using the eyedropper sample.

Using other options will work, as the highlights, shadows, skin tones, etc, but it won't do anything with sampled colors.

    SOLVED!

At least for me. I didn't trash the preferences file and now its range of colors works as it should. You can possibly have the same chance.

  • Retrieve the real color of color dodge effect created

I would like to know how I can convert/recover the actual color that is created in a color dodge effect. I have two colors associated with this effect that has created a new color, but now I need to convert it to an actual color instead of a color effect. Now, he tells one of the combined colors.

I hope someone knows the solution.

Duplicate the objects that form the color you want, go to object > flatten transparency. This will create an object of the color you want, you can save as a sample or color with the transfer pipette.

  • Color - After Effects CC 13.6.1 management

After effects CC version 13.6.1 is no longer by changing settings on Quicktime MOV under Footate interpret > main > color management.  Profile incorporated for all the Quicktime MOV, I tested is listed as REC 709, and none of the options below that can be modified.  In previous versions, the embedded profile was listed as 'None' for the same files and the options below could be adjusted.  I tried several files of different tests and it seems that AE is to see all the Quicktime MOV with integrated REC 709 profile, no matter how it has been exported and will not allow that to be changed.  Obviously we cause problems of workflow.  Is this a bug or I do something wrong?  Thanks for any input.

This isn't really a bug so much as unfinished coding by adobe. the engineers said that some codecs use a different interpretation engine and therefore cannot be changed in the control panel.

a former post "said engineers, use utility effect color profile converter to undo the change by applying universal film hdtv, then visa versa."

  • Question about the color range selection methods similar colors in Photoshop.

    Hello

I have a few images that I must exclude the background out and some of them are very difficult to exclude. For example, an image is that of a white hat that has feathers on it and it sits on a white background. These photos were taken by a professional photographer, but it is extremely difficult for me to choose the background because it is dangerously close to the foreground in terms of color image. I tried to use the range select color that works a little, but feathers are almost impossible to extract. Does anyone know of a more efficient way to choose the colors of the narrow range? Any help would be appreciated.

You need contrast between the subject and the background to be able to extract the subject well. If you can't find a way to create the necessary contrast, you will need to rig the extraction. If the subject has smooth edges may use the pen tool to create a path or selection then the selection of feathers and use it as a mask to soften the edges of the object.

  • Posterization strange and/or color banding effect (CS5.1/CS6)

Stumbled upon a strange effect with one of my photos:

As usual, I did development of basic an DNG file in Lightroom 4.1RC2. Then, again as usual, I select "Edit in Photoshop" in the context menu of the library grid. Photoshop CS5.1 both CS6 open the DNG and show me an image where I see clearly strong Posterization in the blues.

I save the file psd and return to LR4: when I left LR4 display DSP, everything looks allright, as if he has never been posterization. It seems that the original dng! Tried to apply different color spaces, reducing the bit depth, without success.

Only cure for me at the moment is to open the dng in Photoshop and then switch to 16-bit mode... First thought that this is somehow an LR4, but on the other hand, LR4 appears correctly the psd file, Photoshop is not...

Could you please grab showing the difference in screen and post them here?  You can do this via the camera just above the edit box icon.

The problem change if you change the Advanced GPU between Basic mode and Normal/advanced in the Performance preference?  Keep in mind that you must close and restart Photoshop when this change before the test.
