  It seems as if the HP product registration service is temporarily unavailable.

  Normally you get invited to register immediately after installation is complete.

  It's a Web page that can help you know if the printer is listed, or as aid re-register once the number of available service - Registration Question Index.

  The term of defective kernel is used which means that the defective part you are replacing is the same part that you send back.

  When you select the option to change the replacement part is usually repaired or refurbished, is why there is such a difference in price between the parties. It seems that if the defective part is not returned within the specified time. 'faulty base tax' is loaded.

  I can't say for sure 100% that the problem will be resolved to the replacement printhead. If the printer was in warranty, it would be the normal order of operations.

  To print the black ink only follow the steps below.

  1. Select Start menu
  2. go into devices and printers.
  3. right click on the printer, select printing preferences
  4. in the lower right corner, select Advanced
  5. and then under features of the printer select print grayscale a dropdown list will appear to black ink only.

  I have a longer printer hp psc 1210 and never had any problems until recently.  I ran more ink color and black print just for a few months, but now that I finally bought several cartridges color it does not print colors and I get an error message saying that the tri color cartridge is not compatible.  I checked and this brand is compatible with my printer, I tried to take the cartridges out and put them back in and unplug the printer.  I tried to clean the electrical contacts, and always the color will not print.  I even bought another another brand color cartridge and tried and still no luck!   I understand that you get an error of ink cartridge rejection. I would like to look at this document here the addresses of ink cartridge for your printer errors. It will show you how to remove and inspect the cartridges with the printer disconnected. It will also show you how to clean the cartridges and the printer falls. Since you mentioned that you cleaned the contacts on the cartridges. compare the methods you employee against the instructions and make sure to follow with the falls of the printer in order to ensure that all the build-up has been removed from cleaner.   The Spyder 2 has never been very reliable in the first place and it is basically useless on modern LED and variety shows.

  You really should get a current sensor. Later generations of Spyder (3 upwards) are much better, but if you want the best sensor there is no way around the i1 Display Pro. It is more or less the standard of current industry (except for some extremely expensive instruments). The ColorMunki Display uses the same material, but paralyzed in many ways.

  ColorEyes software is good, used to be the best third party software. It is probably best to x-rite or software Spyder. But I've seen problems reported with recent versions of OS X. I don't know if ColorEyes is updated more or if the company is still in business at all.

  Windows 7 does NOT support printer HP laserjet 6 p.  It is a HP note:models 6L and 6 p in the LaserJet 6 series are NOT supported in Windows 7  I got and downloaded the driver on the Internet somewhere by typing: driver of HP laserjet 6 p.  You can check the box to add printers over the Internet.  I'm not looking for the process.  Try and I hope it helps.  In the meantime, I'm troubleshooting why my 6 p prints (parallel to 6 p and USB for laptop HP cable).  Don't forget the impression of 'biodirectional' is not checked in Ports (USB001, 2 or 3) place (lower-left) in Device Manager. Right-click on your printer, you will see 'printer properties '.  I say that linear, but you will get it.  Let us know.
