• Cursor is transparant when, in a text box in a Web page or a word document

  When using microsoft word or by typing in a website as I do now when I move my mouse on the text box or on the page in a word in the document and the capital I symbol icon (text selection), it rises in turn the same color as the white of the screen just a little grayer.   The little thing at the end of this first page must be a page break. Which is just what its supposed to change it to a Frame break or break column if you want to have the text to jump to the next available section.

  Im trying to write a component of the code editor, so first of all Im capture the key event of the TAB and then going to insert a tab CHARACTER in the text box... • When I print a table (multiple pages) the text box under the table seems to be moving under the table and prints with the table of this overlap. My only solution is to push the text box further down the page before printing... Any advice?

  I face the same problem as well. Would like to know if there is a better way to get the text box to move with the table instead of the effect that overlap. Have to manually adjust the layout, whenever I want to get a reasonable print of a document (or export it to PDF) seems counterintuitive, especially when it causes the document seem ill-disposed on screen.

  I am running version 3.6.2 of the numbers in the case where that matters.

It generates automatic div id, then here it is difficult to identify the id where to put with own CSS file. so I think it makes sense to add a setting option to add custom css. is it not?

• How to set up an editable text box that can be controlled by master pages

  I am designing a book. I created a master page to the first page of each chapter. I also need the text box content to be in a different size. So I tried including a blank text box in the master. That's when I met a problem - to place text, I have to manually replace the text box on the first page (Page of chapter) making a page element... the following pages have no problem however, as the son of text in the main text boxes. Now when I want to change the size or formatting of this text box, I can no longer use the master and have to manually apply to each chapter of this.

  Is there a better way to do it. I'm on a deadline, a quick response would be appreciated.

  After that you override the master element on the page, it retains aspects on the page of the document that you do not change. So, if you change the size or geometry of the image on the page of the document, change the master page will have no effect. If all you have to do is out of the text frame to fill it with the type, you can still control its size and position through the frame of the master page. If you do need to change size every time you release and add text, I am not aware so as to always be driven from the master page.

  I'm trying to set up my master page with a few text boxes, but I try to get so that the text boxes I put in place in the master page, I can use and edit text in my Document. But what is the point of putting the text boxes in the master pages if you can't use them on your pages. This could be something simple, but I can't understand it. IM use cs4. Help, please

  There is nothing wrong with putting a text on a master page object. To edit a template on a page, command + shift + click on item.

• Problem with text box on the Page Master application to other pages.

  I applied a text box to the master page. I applied the master page to all the other pages, but on each page, the text box will appear like this:

  

  I can not type in the text box or select or something. I have a go back to the Page Master and the text box is a-okay.

  1. place the text boxes where you want on your Master.

  2. go in the 'Pages' Panel and highlight all the pages.

  3. in the "Pages" options of the sliding panel, choose "replace all Master Page items.

  Now, all your pages have a floating text box!

• Need a text box - similar to what provides this forum

  I have users who complain that incoming messages text on a website is a pain because there is none of the ability to edit like in Word. So... to provide a text box, as whatever I type in would be great (mainly the ability to add bullets, bold, underline, etc.). It is on the Forum from Adobe so I can only hope (?), is it available somehow to use in DW, if even as an extension.

  I have not yet upgraded to El Capitan.  I'm saving up for a new MacBook Pro.  I did a last yer picture book, but could not fins out how to insert text boxes.  I want to make a family history book so you will have to put a text with images.

  Most themes book photo Photos allow to use text boxes.

  You do not separately add text boxes, you simply choose the page layout a layout with text boxes.

  Strange, one for you here... Whenever I insert a text box in the table here next to 'comments' it completely crashes DW CS3.
  I have rebuilt the page several times and it's the same thing... I Googled it and got nothing. It's really weird. The other form elements are all very well. Only the text box seems to make the damage:

• Text run horizontally through the two text boxes

  I am trying to run the text between the two areas of text, but in a continuous manner. Essentially, we have disclosed no claimed that crosses a spread. Someone, that is created is no longer here, two text boxes (one on each page) and has managed to take the text where the first line in the first text box has continued in the second text box and then wrapped into the first text box and then continued in the second text box and so on.

  So with the paragraph above text might hit the left text box to "Essentially" and continue to "we" the first line of the text on the right box. Go overboard and then to the second line of the left text box continuing to the second line of the text on the right box. And so on. I can't understand what they have done, but I'm sure it's something simple in InDesign.

  Note: these are areas of unique text, not two columns in a text box.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  I see it. The text is flowing the way it does in mine. Who are soft return characters at the end of each line in the first screenshot, and # is a marker of the end of history. The lines were manually arranged and set frame on the left. This means that if you add a few words it will crumble.

• Acrobat Standard DC - can't change the text and text box properties

  Earlier this week, I lost the ability to change the properties of the text and text boxes.

  When I add a comment with a text box or in the text caption, I do all the time, I used to be able to change the font color, size, alignment, etc.

  Now, when I go to insert a text box or the legend, all the options in the properties bar are grayed out.

  This issue effects ONLY the text in the box and the caption functions. all the other drawing functions work very well. I can change the color, fill and the type of lines around the text, I can just change the text.

  Any suggestions?
