  I bought Dell inspiron 7537 and I am facing a problem of wireless connectivity since I've updated its build-in windows 8 to 8.1. Will not connect wifi or Bluetooth. I also tried to plug a device external wifi but it dint work. Even I've updated to windows 10 and eventually I reinstalled Windows 8 and Windows 7 but still the wifi adapter does not work.
  I installed the drivers a lot but this question is never resolved.

  Hi ujjwal258518, welcome to the Forums of HP. I understand that your microphone does not work in your combined port. Unfortunately, it behaves as expected. The combo Harbour will not work with the only micro devices, it must be part of a communications headset/microphone device. The other possibility is to get a USB microphone.

  As described in the user guide: "If you get a microphone/headset device, make sure that the power cable of the unit has a connector 4 pin that supports audio output (headphone) and audio (microphone)."

  Page 6 shows the right side. Section 3 describes the combo Harbour: User Guide

  Here are the troubleshooting steps you have to try to solve your problem.

  Step 1:

  (a) click on start - Control Panel

  (b) change Classic view - sound - recording tab

  (c) right-click in the empty space under Select recording device

  (d) show disabled devices: If the microphone is disabled enable it

  Try you restart the computer and let Windows Vista again detects your sound card again.

  Step 2:

  Make sure that you have installed the latest compatible audio drivers Windows Vista version, if not we strongly recommend to download the latest audio driver for your Web site to computer manufacturers for your sound card or onboard audio chipset.

  Plug the microphone of your sound card / audio card mother (usually pink in color for micro) pine

  Step 3:

  After that, go to control panel > sounds and Audio devices settings. Check to see if the microphone is detected by Vista. If this is not the case, check if you have selected microphone front or rear, as vista acknowledges their separately unlike windows XP. Correct the configuration of the microphone rear if necessary.

  Check if the device is working properly by testing it on the other computer.

  the test turns on and at the end there is a radio button to test the Audio, which plays several tones through the laptop speakers. When I plug in the headphones, I have no sound in the headphones and more tones are played through speakers for computer only.   Is this a hardware problem? Please guide me further.

  Whenever you connect the headphones to the computer, you should get a notification that the headset is connected. If the sound comes only through the internal speakers, the issue may be with the audio port. I suggest you to connect other headphones or external speakers and check. If the problem persists, hardware may need to be replaced.

  The fan will run at powerup self test time, and then won't turn on (or run at full speed) up to a set temperature is reached.

  Function that replaces the motherboard, check that the thermal pads have been replaced when the radiator has been removed from the system.  If this part was not replaced, the system will run very hot.

• Dissolve simple cross does not work

  Hi, I'm relatively new to first CC, so forgive me if this is a simple solution. I looked on forums for hours trying to figure out why I can't get my simple cross-dissolution to work.

  I'm putting a transition between two clips .mp4, but instead of put in a decent length transition, made first an a TINY (1-2 frames) and then doesn't let me change its duration by dragging. If I manually change the duration by typing in it, it does not develop the transition, but with lines through the calendar item (as if I was applying to a clip without handles). I confirmed that I have handles, and the transition to work on any other cilps.

  I spent more than two hours trying to get something to work that should take less than 10 seconds. Any help is appreciated.

  Hi again. I installed a sound surround my dekstop compatible audio card and it works fine. The problem is that I have to keep changing the connections at the back of the computer when I want to use headphones. As I am a gamer and you watch a lot of movies/TV shows on my desktop, which happens frequently, and it becomes very annoying.

  How can I get the sound of the new sound card to the sockets on the front of my computer?

  When you install a sound card into the PCIe slot on desktop is now your help for her most of the time. There is no way I know to which allows to connect your soundcard to the jacks before your turn. Cards its equipped with Sockets built into the card and should be used as they are designed.
