  • installation scanner epson 2450 on win 7 (64-bit)

I just upgraded from XP to Win 7

    I can't scanner to work on Windows 7 (64-bit)

It works with Vuescan (64), but this program is not flexible enough for me.

I've been using ABBYY on XP without any problem, but I can't get the program to recognize

    the scanner in Win 7

    Any suggestion would be appreciated

    Denzil Botting

    Denzil Hello,

According to the Epson site, the problem is that your scanner does not work in a 64 bit environment: it only supports Windows 7, 32 bit OS. That is why he used to be recognized under XP, but is not on your 64-bit system Win 7.

Your only photo would be to find a program of scanning (with driver) can fill the Bit depth (work in 32 and 64 Bit OSs).

Sorry, this is not the information you wanted to hear.

    Kind regards

  • iTunes - stay on Win 7 64 bit upgrade, win 10 64-bit

I am running Win 7 64 bit on an older PC (disputed material 4 GB memory limitation). I have an iPhone TO an ipad mini and an old ipad.

Specifically regarding iTunes - should I stay with what works fine now (Win 7 64-bit) or take advantage of the free upgrade (?) to win 10 64 bit.

Yes, I know... a little late to ask this question. I keep procrastinating.  I search for related positions, did not find anything that general.

If you decide to improve see your iTunes backup for Windows with SyncToy library for a backup plan proposed. iTunes seems does not fare terribly well during an upgrade on Windows 10 site so it might be an idea to uninstall all Apple software before upgrading, and then reinstall later. For more tips, see troubleshooting problems with iTunes for updates of Windows .

  • Cannot run 32-bit application on Satellite L750-A010 with Win 7 64 bit

    Hello

I had a new satellite L750-A010 with OS win7/64, but I can't run programs 32 versions such as Simatic manager V505, product of siemens. Pls advise how I can fix this problem.

    Thank you all.

    Karam.

    Hello

I m unaware software Siemens Simatic Manager V505. But perhaps this 32-bit applications needs a version of Win 7 32 bit.
In this case, you need to install a Win 7 32 bit system on your laptop.
But I recommend to ask support from Siemens for more information maybe there are a few patches, updates or similar solutions that don t require 32-bit system.

    Hello

Satellite U400 - 10l belongs to the series of PSU40E and it supports the audio chip Conexant CX20561
You need the Conexant audio driver in order to get the proper functioning!

Please note that the Win XP drivers placed on the Toshiba page are released for Win 32 bit OS! Usually, they don t work with 64 bit XP!
If you need Win XP 64 bit Conexant sound driver you need to search n 3 third-party pages for this driver.

In addition, you must install Win XP service packs newer!
SP3 includes many fixes that are necessary and important.
SP3 must be installed before installing the audio driver.

Yes, it s safe you can try to install the drivers for the touchpad for Vista in the worst case, you will get an error message that this driver is not compatible or will not work.

But look man there is Win 7 Alps and Synaptics touchpad drivers for Win 7.
The drivers were released for other series of laptop.
Check the Satellite L500 area for example

  • Portege Z30: Fingerprint software no longer work after Win 7 32-bit downgrade

Hi, I need a little more help with my Z30.

Have just downgraded to Win 7 Pro 64 Bit to Win Pro 32 Bit.

Everything seems to work except for the utility of fingerprinting.

My laptop has biometric device of validity and it shows up as working in the Device Manager.

I have install then it appropriate Toshiba Fingerprint Software listed as fp - sw - 20140811102806.zip.
The installation seems to go smoothly.

However, if I run the software I get an icon on the taskbar, but nothing else. By clicking on this icon (or going back to the program via the start menu) and no registration window opens. Basically, nothing happens.

If I try and close the window in the bar of tasks, nothing happens. I have to use ctrl-alt-delete to close the icon and stop the running program.

I ve started to change the settings and made sure that the biometric device is enabled and checked the box to allow users to log on to Windows using their fingerprints.

I ve uninstalled Validity Sensor and allowed to reinstall.

I uninstalled and reinstalled Toshiba Fingerprint Software. No luck.

I think that I m doing something pretty obvious, but need some help on this.

    Anyone got any suggestions?

OK, well, maybe there are even more options.  Not sure it will work, but try:

    1. make sure the printer is on and connected to your network. Verify that you can access the printer's internal web page by accessing its IP address before continuing. Get his IP address for a network Test printed on the front of the printer.
    2. click on > start > Control Panel > devices & Printers.
    3. click on add a printer
    4. Select local printer
    5. Select create a new port and select Standard TCP/IP Port, and click Next.
    6. under device type, select TCP/IP Device. Under the name of host or IP address, enter the IP address of the printer. Click Next.
    7. Select Hewlett-Packard in the list of manufacturers and select and select your printer model. Click Next.
If your printer model is not in the list, then select disk provided, browse the CD that came with your HP printer and select the first file begins with hp and ending with INF. click Open, then OK. Select your printer model. Click Next.
    8. If prompted, use the driver that is currently installed.
    9. He will ask the name of the printer - enter a new name or use the one existing. This will be the name of the printer that you select from other applications.
    10. we may ask you to share the printer. Choose No.
    11. the printing area of Test Page is displayed. Go ahead and print it out.
    12. click on finish.

    (1) I don't understand if I have Windows XP 32-bit or 64-bit, and should I choose for downloads. I have a Lenovo AMD Athlon 64 x 2 with Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition, Version 2002, Service Pack 3, by the Sys properties.

    So, I I had 64 - bit.

But, when I run Uniblue programs (RegistryBooster, DriverScanner) it says I have 32-bit.

    (2) in addition, I need to know if MicroSoft approved indeed Uniblue programs. Uniblue says they are a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner. What does that mean. I am uncomfortable because the Registry Booster found 687 problems! Don't you think it is really safe to click 'fix automatically? It seems to me that it could cause a major problem. I don't know what to do.

    (3) in addition, why doesn't Microsoft Fix It works for me.  I get this message:

    1. If the properties of the system does not have 64-bit, you have the 32-bit version. In addition almost * everyone * the 32-bit version runs under XP.

    2. I can't tell you what Microsoft approved of, but I can say that I agree. Stay * a lot * of registry cleaners. Do not run it and if you have, do not click on "fix automatocally." The risk of creating problems in this way is very large.

Registry cleaning programs are * all * snake oil. The registry cleaning is not necessary and dangerous. Let alone register and do not use any registry cleaner. Despite what many people think, and what software record cleaning providers are trying to you convince to have used the registry entries is not really make you hurt.

The risk of a serious problem caused by a registry cleaner by mistake delete an entry you need is much greater than any potential benefit it may have.

    Read http://www.edbott.com/weblog/archives/000643.html

    and http://aumha.net/viewtopic.php?t=28099

    and also http://blogs.technet.com/markrussinovich/archive/2005/10/02/registry-junk-a-windows-fact-of-life.aspx

Let me stress that neither me nor anyone else who warns against the use of registry cleaners has never said that they always cause problems. If they have always caused problems, they would disappear from the market almost immediately. Many people have used a registry cleaner and never had a problem with it.

The problem with a registry cleaner is that it carries with it the essential * risk * to have a problem. And since there is no advantage to using a registry cleaner, running the risk is a very bad deal.

  • a6560t usbstor.sys win-7 64-bit driver

It was initially a 32-bit Vista system. A few years ago, that I've updated for Win - 7 64-bit with Microsoft upgrade DVD. A few months after apply a Microsoft Update, it crashed. I couldn't go back. Then I tried to get reinstalled Win - 7. The installation is not complete. It happens to prepare it for the customization of the user screen (something like that) and restarts. I enabled boot logging and the latest driver to load was the USBSTOR. SYS driver. So what I've seen, it's that I need to replace the driver for Win - 7 by default. Any help for this driver would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello

If you bought the DVD of Windows 7 with the license, and it's a retail license, Yes, you can transfer it to another computer.

OEM, pre-installed Dell, HP, etc. as well as Microsoft OEM System Builders licenses are non-transferable to another computer. They are tied to the computer first they are installed on the.

Retail licenses are transferable. Remember that a single installation is allowed at a time.

You may need to do a phone Activation when you reinstall on another computer.

  • My computer will get speed by installing an OS Win 7 32 - bit OS 64-bit instead?

I am currently using Win7 Ultimate 64-bit. So, can I get speed by installing an OS Win 7 32 - bit OS 64-bit instead?

In some instances Yes, I got Windows 7 64 bit on a computer with 2 GB of RAM, I noticed after some time, he was not optimal. I decided to try 32 bit Windows 7 and seen improving overall performance with regard to the execution of applications and operating in Windows 7.

Windows 7 64 bit comes in handy when you need to deal with at least 4 GB of RAM or more. Windows 7 32 bit can use up to 3.2 GB of RAM. Because the address space of memory is much larger for 64-bit Windows, this means that you need two times more memory than the 32-bit Windows to accomplish some of the same task, but you are able to do much more, you can have more apps open, do things like run a virus scan in the background it will affect the performance of your system. 64-bit Windows 7 is safer too, malicious code cannot easily infiltrate it, drivers are more reliable because they must be signed before it can work with 64 bit Windows 7.

Regarding compatibility, you need device drivers 64-bit hardware devices, you may have. In addition, there is no 16-bit subsystem in Windows 7 64-bit, which means, your applications must be 32-bit only, not 16-bit Installer or programs uninstaller.
