  We have two local hosts ESXi 5.0 with data warehouses and want to take advantage of VSA, but I'm not sure how to proceed. I don't want to lose all the data and I have 200 GB of free space on each data store.

  -Is it possible to install VSA on the free space remaining and migrate a VSA Cluster machine both to free space upp to extend VSA data store?
  -J' have also a QNAP NAS with iscsi, this will affect? Can I migrate my virtual machines in the data store and then migrate once VSA Cluster is setuped?
  -I was also thinking of getting more disk space and it will be better to build my VSA Cluster on those first, then migrate my VMs and the last step, expand my VSA datastore with the data store original?

  1. the installation mode that allows you to install VSA in an existing virtual machines is installation of Brownfields. VMware product management Rawlinson made two posts on the same here.

  3 vSphere Storage Appliance 5.1 allows you to extend the storage of the existing unit. There might be some VMs downtime involved, but it is supported.

  Most important thing to consider in two node VSA is that the cluster service should work outside of your VSA hosts. So, you need to have a small desk box or any other server in order to run your service. Things are well documented in the Deep Dive technical book by Cormac here...

  I try to install the server behavior & extension of the database in my CC of Dreamweaver 2014 of the trial.  I've added it to https://creative.adobe.com/addons/patches/2176#.VGJ7TvnF-DA and it shows I have, but it has not yet appear in Dreamweaver.  I followed the steps outlined in the troubleshooting list:

  The application is compatible with the addon

  The application of CC desktop is installed and running

  Synchronization of files is enabled

  After that, I tried to install it through the Adobe Extension Manager.  As soon as I loaded up the Manager has crashed.  Whenever I open it crashes immediately.  Here is the error report:

  I then removed my addons, then deleted and reinstalled the extensions Manager.  As soon as I tried to open the Manager it still crashes.

  Try the following.

  1. Uninstall the current extension.
  2. Install the DMXZone extensions Manager
  3. Using the extension Manager DMXZone, install the connections/data server behaviors panel

Well all the Microsoft products were there but would not work. Each gave the error for rerinstall the product I did no problem except for the problem with the streets of travel & which still exists and is completely ignored by Microsoft, according to my research. The error is: "a licensing initialization error has occurred. Please contact customer support for further assistance. Error 0xC004D301 ". I tried all the suggestions that I have met on the internet. The most galling was given by Microsoft technology in its response to this problem. "The license data is probably corrupted" OK, makes sense, BUT how can I fix that you genius.   Success!  Hi John, I don't know if this will solve your problem because I am running windows 8.1 and tries to install streets & trips 2011.  But I had a similar symptom that you knew.  Here's what I did: just right-click on the icon in the start menu, select programs and features.  Uninstall all versions of Microsoft Visual C++ 2010, I had two.  Then I opened the installation dvd in Explorer, click right on dvdrun, marked the area run as long as administrator (not sure if it did anything or not), hit apply, then double clicked on dvdrun and everything worked.  I could install, validate, save, and run the program!
  A warning, I don't know what are the potential problems that may result in removing these two programs, I hope that if I run into something I can install them again without too much trouble.

  As others said, the ISO provided HP is very good, but it is in no way a magic requirement. They contain little update driver-VIBs and, in addition, the material management extensions.

  Basically, everything that HP and other hardware vendors are doing with their ISOs custom entering the release of vanilla by VMware, the addition of a few separate packages (material management extensions) and maybe replace some drivers specific with updated versions (as a driver more recent be2net, which is just what VMware offers as an updated driver to separate day on their site anyway). They do not affect the VMware components as esx-base package

  You can also easily build an almost exact copy of HP image yourself, updated or additional drivers and management extensions are all available after all. And of course you can always install management packs and drivers updated in your vanilla install yourself afterwards, through for example Update Manager.

  If the HARD drive is formatted, use the recovery CD and reinstall the OS. After that, the modem must be recognized and properly installed. After that, configure Dial connection and check the modem. If the modem is not defective, it should work.
