Problem installing Adobe Flash Player
Hello
I tried to install Adobe Flash Player on my laptop Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. I navigate to the download page and select the appropriate version (v23.0.0.162). It starts to download the file and the installation begins. He invites me to install. I click 'Yes' and he continues. Before the installation starts good, I close all my browsers and disable my antivirus (Norton v22.7.1.32). The installation seems to work. A browser opens and shows me other products that I can. But, when I go to check if the installation was successful (Flash Player Help), then click the 'Check now', he says he was not installed and pointing me to the downloads page. I tried to install, then reboot my laptop, but it does not always help. I even tried to install an earlier version of Flash Player and it still does not work. Any help to fix this problem is highly appreciated!
Thank you
Ray
I had to completely uninstall the Flash and Shockwave objects. Once I did, I reinstalled the Flash object and it started working.

Running Windows 7, 64-bit, using IE 9, Facebook games keep telling me every morning I do it to install Adobe Flash Player, and all goes well, that day, then the next day, get the same message, is there a permanent fix for this somewhere?
It could be related to ActiveX filtering, too. Adobe Flash seems to work on IE only with ActiveX filtering disabled (I also have these messages, they never appear on Chrome or other browsers who do not share this security feature).

I can't install Adobe Flash Player on Windows 7, IE11
I can't install Adobe Flash Player on Windows 7, IE11 after countless attempts. I installed Chrome (which I didn't do, and I still don't know if it was necessary), I updated Java to the latest version, I uninstalled Silverlight (thinking maybe it has been installed by default), I also (temporarily) disabled my Norton protection when installing it the last 4 times, and I made sure that the add-on has been "enabled" in the fall of management modules area , and yet, he does not show it when I do a test of the Adobe system being installed. It also does not appear on my start - search for Adobe programs. I'm completely frustrated, especially when the web page to download Adobe told me that all the 3 steps are completed and effective and thank you & Enjoy. I have read the forums as well, but I can't find a solution. Help, please. Thank you, Bill
If you do not have an error during the installation of the plugin is probably installed successfully. It is possible that the plugin is disabled in Internet Explorer or ActiveX filtering is disabled. Please see: Enable Flash Player for Internet Explorer and ActiveX in Internet Explorer filtering after ensuring the Flash Player is enabled and activeX filtering is disabled, via IE to https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player.html and click on the "Check now" button What are the results for Information System?
Java and Silverlight are two completely different programs, have nothing to do with Flash Player.
Flash Player is a browser plugin and will not appear on a start - search Adobe programs. It appears in Control Panel > Add Remove programs.

How do I install Adobe Flash player on Windows 7 Home Premium on my laptop?
I tried for several days to install Adobe Flash player on my laptop, but nothing helped. He'll say to me to close the Explorer of IE tab and I do, but this message continues to appear. I can hold down the CTRL, ALT, DELETE keys to display the Task Manager to see if it is running. When I close the Task Manager, then he continues to lower the load, but when I try to play games, it shows the message that I need to download flash player. Someone please help me get to the bottom of this frustrating problem.

I recently installed Adobe Flash Player ActiveX 11 - 11.4.402.265 and when I open my Mozilla Firefox browser I get this message flashing on my screen: "Adobe Flash Player 11.4 r402 has stopped working" and then "Windows is checking for a solution"
It flashes several times then stops usually but not always.
It happens every time I try to open a new page.
I solved this problem by uninstalling Adobe Flash Player 11 and install Adobe Flash Player 10.3. However, now my IE browser again wants me to install Adobe Flash Player 11. Although I do not often use my IE browser, I DON'T have to use sometimes. Is there a Firefox 15.0 update to fix this problem?
First of all, the Flash of the IE is totally different than the flash used in Firefox. You can update one without affecting the other.
Now, there is a problem right now with Flash 11.3 and 11.4 in Firefox. Downgraded to 10.3 is an acceptable solution for the moment. Adobe publishes the updates (slowly) that solve the problems, but it is not a matter of time before they are all fixed.

It is not possible to install Adobe Flash player 11.1
It is not possible to install Adobe Flash player in the browser, it works without problem?
There are 2 versions of Adobe Flash:
- an ActiveX version for IE only
- a plug-in version for most of the other browsers including Firefox
- On a Windows system, you must always update both individually.
You have the Plugin version 9.0.45 installed Firefox - a very old version. In modules > Plugins you should see "Shockwave Flash (version)".
Make sure that your Plugins often-> http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/plugincheck/

Install or update Adobe Flash
- With Firefox, click on the following link and SAVE the download on your desktop, so you can find it later. Clear all of the items on this page that you do not want to download (i.e., "McAfee Security Scan Plus"):
- When the download is complete, close Firefox (file > button OR exit Firefox > exit)
- Click or double-click the file that you just saved on your desktop
- In the install window that appears, select the check box to the left of "I read and...» "to place a check mark in the box of
- The button 'Install' in the lower right corner is now highlighted, click it.
- Installation is quick.
- Launch Firefox and test your installation here: https://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/
- To the update/install the ActiveX for IE onlyversion, repeat the process, but use IE to go to the site above.

Cannot install Adobe Flash Player
Hello community,
Just can't install Adobe Flash Player! Using Firefox on Windows XP Professional

Hello community,
Just can't install Adobe Flash Player! Using Firefox on Windows XP Professional
and.... How do I tun off the browser?
Thomas,
Even if you think that you don't have Flash installed, download the following uninstall program, and then close your browser. Then run the uninstall program to remove Flash: Flash Player Uninstaller
Then, go to the following site and download the install (s) stand alone
http://www.Adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.htmlIf you want to install it in Internet Explorer, download the 12.0.0.38 version above.
To install a different browser, download the 12.0.0.43 version
Choose the version of the EXE file in both cases. If you download 12.0.0.38, choose "Run" instead of "Save" to install it immediately.
Otherwise, download the file to your own machine and then run it. Close the browser in advance if you are using another browser IE can.
Either way, Google Chrome Flash is already installed and updates periodically.
EDIT: To 'disable' Firefox, press ALT to toggle the text links on and then click on file and choose EXIT.

missing WinHTTP.dll appears installing adobe flash player.i

If missing winhttp.dll, some Services from Microsoft (and others) just will not start:
BITS service (Background Intelligent Transfer Service)
Automatic Update Service (it crashes you try to start)You can see things like this in the Event Viewer log system:
Service
Cannot start Service on Local computer Background Intelligent Transfer.
Error: 126: the specified module could not be found
Event type: error
Event source: Service Control Manager
Event category: no
Event ID: 7023
Description:
The Background Intelligent Transfer Service is completed with the following error:
The specified module could not be found. The automatic updates Service hang and displays "Start" in the Services applet:
Event type: error
Event source: Service Control Manager
Event category: no
Description:
Automatic Updates service hung on starting. Some products Adobe also will not work, like the Adobe Dreamweaver CS5ServiceManager Service Manager (and perhaps other Adobe startup items) not start and displays error message like this:
CS5.5ServiceManager.exe - Unable to locate component
This application has failed to start because WINHTTP.dll was not found. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.Running sfc/scannow will not replace the winhttp.dll file missing. I know because I tried. It's just another wild goose chaseSupport Engineer.
I downloaded a copy of XP Pro SP3 file you need on my SkyDrive (everyone has a SkyDrive for file sharing).
You can download it and when you do, place a copy of the file in these two folders (assuming that Windows is installed on your C drive):
c:\Windows\System32
c:\Windows\System32\dllcache (this is where XP keeps backups of important files). Here is the link to my SkyDrive and you can get the file you need here:
http://CID-6a7e789cab1d6f39.SkyDrive.live.com/redir.aspx?RESID=6A7E789CAB1D6F39! 311
When you see the files available for download, you can not see the file extension (.exe, .dll, .cpl, .sys, .zip, etc.), but when download you them they will have the right extension.
When you download the file (especially if you use Internet Explorer), when you get a chance to save the file, your browser is unable to save the file with an extension (by example, .exe, .dll, .cpl, .sys, .zip, etc) then you will need to manually add the extension appropriate to the file when you download the file before you save it.
You can download the file without the extension, and then rename the file to add the appropriate extension. You do not want to use a file called winhttp when the name of the file should really be called winhttp.dll (if the downloaded file has no extension, you will need to change the name of the file to add the appropriate extension to make it work.
You then put the downloaded files in the correct folders on your system.
Sfc/scannow will not replace the winhttp.dll file missing, but it will be a frustrating waste of time and a technician to support running wild goose chase. Technical support engineers are hired by Microsoft if you hope that someone would know better.
It's a shame that the technical support engineer did not his own advice to "check how it works.
