  If my laptop has no former USB 2 ports and, apparently, Windows 7 doesn't come with native support USB 3 so how can I re - install my system using the USB that I made Dell Datasafe Local backup?

  I tried to make a set of Dell Datasafe DVD, but it is not I think that there is a bug in the routine of Datasafe Local Backup DVD recovery media.

  Am I better off Dell asking to send me a re-installation OEM DVD set? How would I do that?

  First of all try to change this setting in the BIOS Setup disable USB 3.0 features to install Windows 7 from a USB Flash drive

  I'm not aware of a difference of correction/update ESXi on a USB device on a HARD drive. You can eiterh using a CD Update (for example, 1 day) or the vCLI as explained in the http://communities.vmware.com/people/vmroyale/blog/2011/09/15/updating-esxi-5--single-use-esxcli-how-to

  I have a big problem. After days of disliking the preinstalled Windows 8.1Pro I wanted to install Windows 7 Professional 64 bit ISO (X 17-59885) with a stick of unetbootin.

  First of all, I wiped the entire disk with 'Ubuntu Live CD' (installed on a USB key).

  After that, I tried 3 different USB keys I put on the Windows 7 with Unetbootin to install on my HARD drive.

  The Start Menu shows the sticks but can't open it.

  I already went in BIOS (ThinkPad Setup) and tried a few changes but nothing helped.

  Important: I have no external DVD drive

  Try another usb key that I used this method on 10 usb keys because it is a way to give to my classmates of backups of the operating system, I had a few USB stick which would not work with the tool, because I use the tool to copy the iso on usb, I'm not sure any other tool

  I have just a quick question that was so irritating for centuries. I downloaded ESXi 4.1 & want to install on a USB key, so far, I have been unsuccessful using WinImage, so I thought I would try using the installer itself esxi to stick on the USB key.

  When it displays the list of available drives, the USB displays, but there is 0.00 bytes available for installation, yet the Flash drive has been formatted on two FAT (32) and NTFS.

  everyone seems to have this same problem, and is there a quick and simple solution that I can't find?

  I'm used to be able to download the exec of set-up for FF and save it on a USB key to reinstall offline after a complete restore of the system. This is very useful. The last one I have is FF12, so after a restore, I now install FF12 so I can take care of tasks offline restore without having to resort to IE. When I go online I go from FF12 to the latest version. Is there a way I can save the exec of set-up for FF27 or even 26?

  According to your description, my guess is that the program that you used has replaced the boot files on the hard drive, NOT on the flash drive. Thus, your PC no longer starts.

  To resolve startup problems, you need access to a PC for this phase of work in order to create the necessary support to fix your PC boot loader.
  
  You will need to create something called a CD-ROM to repair Win7 - which you could have done for free when Win7 was working.  This will repair the boot loader files, and if that is the problem, your PC will start OK after that.

  When you download this file, it will be an ISO file.
  
  To make a CD bootable it, you will need to download and install ImgBurn: http://www.imgburn.com/
  
  Once you have installed, run, select the option "Save image to disk file" and select the downloaded ISO file and that it points to a blank CD.
  
  To make a USB bootable of it, you will need to download and install RUFUS: https://rufus.akeo.ie/

  Yes it has an internal USB slots (2) and Dell Power Edge T310 is the HCL just check your CPU

  People had a lot of problems installing ESXi4 on boxes, but it is associated with RAID controller driver.

  I use a HP Microserver with ESXi 5 fortunately boot from USB

• I try to install CS5.5 on a new computer and it says my product key is valid but cannot find a product calling.

  I have Adobe CS 5.5 with a valid product key (on the original box), but it will not install on my new work computer. This product is the property of my company and has been used in the past on my old computer.
