    Hello.

    1. you remember to make changes to your computer of the page?

    2. you have multiple DVD burning software installed on your computer?

    3. What is the brand and the model number of this DVD player?

Follow the below mentioned steps and check if it helps.

Step 1 Run the fixit from the below mentioned link.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/982116

Step 2. Follow the link below to run the tool material and devices,

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/open-the-hardware-and-devices-Troubleshooter

Step 3 Uninstall and reinstall the cd - dvd drive.
If the drive is not listed, remove and reinstall the existing drivers.
To do this, follow these steps:
    a. Click Start and then click Control Panel.
    b. click System and Maintenance, click System and then click on Device Manager.
Note: If Control Panel is in Classic view, double-click System and then click on Device Manager.
    c. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on allow.
    d. in Device Manager, expand CD-ROM/DVD-ROM drives, right click on the device CD and DVD and then click on uninstall.

Step 4. The firmware was updated.

I would also recommend updating the firmware of the CD - DVD drive.
You may need to contact the manufacturer for it.

  • I have an acer 5739G laptop there dvd - rw but the last month since I installed daemon tools and BD - ROM driver cannot read dvd rom rom. cd single I don't know what to do.

I try to update the missing drivers, but still does not work

I uninstall deamon Tools, reboot, then do the test again and if the drive is still problomatic, in Device Manager, uninstall the cd/dvd drive and reboot again

And if the problems continue to update your drivers from Acer site, specific to your model and the version of win7 bit

  • installation of daemon tools

I have a problem when installing daemon tools ver.4304 lite in my win 7
    always demonstrated
"this program need atleast win 2000 and STPD 1.51 or higher, kernel debugger must be disabled"
even after I install STPD 1.59 win 7 ask to reboot and I'll start all over again and again
what I have to do 2?

Daemon Tools does not work on Windows 7.  Until a new Windows 7 compatible version is available, you will need to use another program.  You can use the virtual Clone drive.  It works on Windows 7.  That's what I use myself.

    See you soon

I have a simple philosophy: just assume everyone is a piece of _ and then be pleasantly surprised if you find someone who is not.

  • Daemon Tools Pro

When I use Daemon Tools Pro, it says "this program requires at least windows 2000 with SPTD 1.60 or higher. Kernel debugger must be disabled. "I've already installed and ran before... now it is said that at random. I tried to reinstall, Setup internal error, error code 14. Apparently, this happens to many users of windows XP to Windows 7, I tried looking for it in google and very few people know how to solve and those who confuse me.

I have the latest version of everything on my computer. and it used to work, but randomly completely messed my computer, it kept restarting and everything went blue with the code that runs through it. Ive ran several antivirus RELIABLE detectors but everything is clean.

but I just installed MagicDisk which is freeware and exactly the same.

  • Install client tools Oracle 12 c crashing during

I have about 200 users running the client tools of Oracle 12 c on their workstations. A user tried to install the tools on his machine, but Setup still hangs. We were unable to find a solution. Java has been removed and reinstalled several times, the installation was run as an administrator, and we tried to install it under different user accounts. I apologize for the incoming wall of text, but it is not an attach option or the spoiler.

I found the problem, but it was not referenced in any of the newspapers. There was an instance of Oracle 11 g 64 bit already installed on the machine and 32-bit 12 c has been seen none of that.

I've renamed the registry HKLM\Software\Oracle key, installed 32-bit 12 c, then changed the name of key return. No problems during installation or post-installation tests.

  • Catch 22 tries to install VMware Tools

I created a Windows 7 VM from a physical PC. I 'play' on a Player 10 Windows via VMware Workstation 12 host, connect to the guest and then click on the "Install tools" button in the player. I see this error message:

"The virtual machine must have a virtual CD/DVD device to install VMware Tools."

OK, so I turned off the guest who also ends the player, rerun the player, select the virtual machine and click on "Edit virtual machine settings". On the Hardware tab, I click on the Add button, select "reader of CD/DVD", click Next, select the "use ISO image" radio button (because I guess that's what the error message means by "virtual CD/DVD"), and then click Next, and then I get invited to an ISO image. And that's the Catch 22 - the error message indicates that the player has just need a virtual device, not an ISO, but when I try to add a virtual device, the player wants an ISO.

How to break this vicious circle and install VMware Tools?

I thought about it myself the answer to a question on the superuser. Here are the steps:

    1. Stop the virtual machine
    2. Run the drive and select the virtual machine
    3. Click on "Edit virtual machine settings".
    4. Click on "Add..." "in the Hardware tab
    5. Select "CD/DVD Drive", and then click Next
    6. Select the "use ISO image" radio button and click Next
    7. Navigate to C:\Program Files (x 86) \VMware\VMware drive and double-click windows.iso
    8. Uncheck the box "Connect to light" (probably any) and click on finish
    9. Click OK
    10. Click on "Play virtual machine."
    11. Log on to the virtual computer
    12. Click installation tools
    13. Follow the instructions in the installer
  • Cannot install VMware Tools on Windows 10

Having trouble installing VMware Tools on a Win10 business VM (vSphere 5.5). Installation lance then anything beyond that never reports. Is there something special that needs to be done to make this work?

    -Thank you

Also have installed the Update Manager plugin that reports the status of inconsistent compliance.

When you install the tools, you choose the Interactive installation or the Automated one?

    Try the Interactive installation instead.

I also have a second comment from Andrew on Firewall/Antivirus possibly block Setup.  Try turning it off.  In addition, you may have to disable UAC.

  • How to install vmware tools in a virtual machine running in the drive on an Ubuntu host?

I have a host of Ubuntu (Ubuntu LTS 14.04.2)

I have a virtual of Fedora (4.0.4 - 301.fc22.x86_64) and I would like to install vmware tools in the virtual machine.

When I select the player VirtualMachine-> reinstall VMware Tools...

I get a prompt in a box on the screen.  It is said:

The following software are available for download:

VMware Tools for Linux version 9.9.3

    What do you do?

X Cancel |  Download and install

Of course I choose to download and install (kind of silly question - why I want to cancel?)

So instead of download the tools I want to install, it says:

Your permission is required to install an update to VMware.

Please enter the root password to move forward.

    Password: __________

not serious.  Now, he's looking for what root password?  The virtual machine or the host?

I have try the virtual machine and it works-not "incorrect password... try again."

... well Ubuntu is not a root user.  So, I try the password for the user with root privileges

    "incorrect password... try again."

    Then, he does not.

    Not very satisfying.

The instructions that I found in my research right you will say to take the step to obtain the Tools package then (well, nothing of the rest of it is important if the tools are not available to me).

    Suggestions?  Advice?

The required password is for the host.

A workaround of functions is "sudo su -" of ubuntu host, then start vmplayer from the root prompt.  You must browse the virtual machine since the user doesn't have a history of openness yet... but then there is no prompt asking for a password when you try to download the tools.

  • PowerShell remoting to install VMWare tools

    Greetings

It is true that it is probably focused more on PowerShell and less on VMware VMware tools is the target

I'm trying to write a script to install VMware tools remotely on the virtual machines that do not have VMware tools installed.

So far I have the below...

    Import-Module VMware.VimAutomation.Cis.Core

    Import-Module VMware.VimAutomation.Core

    Import-Module VMware.VimAutomation.HA

    Import-Module VMware.VimAutomation.Sdk

    Import-Module VMware.VimAutomation.Storage

    Import-Module VMware.VimAutomation.Vds

    Se connect-VIServer vCenterserver.domain

    $username = "domain\username"

    $SecurePassword = Read-Host -Quick ' Enter * FIELD * password " -AsSecureString

    $Credentials = New-Object System.Management.Automation.PSCredential '

    -ArgumentList $UserName $SecurePassword

       $VM = "Test01"

       Get-vm $VM | Dismount-Tools

       Get-vm $VM | Mount-Tools

    $RMsession = New-PSSession -ComputerName $VM -Credential $Credentials

    Invoke-Command -Session $RMSession -ScriptBlock { }$CDRom = Get-WmiObject -class Win32_CDROMDrive | select Drive | ForEach {$_. {{ Drive}}

    { Invoke-Command -Session $RMSession -ScriptBlock { }$Subpath = '\setup.exe s-v - SB ADDLOCAL = all THE REBOOT = R'}

    { Invoke-Command -Session $RMSession -ScriptBlock { }$ExecuteEXE = Join-Path -Path $CDRom -ChildPath $Subpath}

    { Invoke-Command -Session $RMSession -ScriptBlock { }start-process $executeEXE}

    output

    Remove-PSSession *

    Disconnect VIServer * -confirm:$False

    I confirmed that $executeEXE = indeed Z:\setup.exe s - v - SB ADDLOCAL = ALL REBOOT = R

When I run the script in the ISE, I get:

Start-Process: this command cannot be executed due to the error: the system cannot find the specified file.

    Online: 1 character: 14

    + start-process < < < < $executeEXE

    + CategoryInfo: InvalidOperation: (:)) [Start-Process], InvalidOperationException)

    + FullyQualifiedErrorId: InvalidOperationException, Microsoft.PowerShell.Commands.StartProcessCommand

It is true that I am very inexperienced with PowerShell remoting.

It seems that when I run the script it seems in fact be invoking the command on the remote computer, but rather on the local computer. VMware tools are piling up and the path in $executeEXE is 100% correct and the PSSession is also open, no doubt, but not magic?

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

    Greetings LucD

Looks like I may have found the problem.

Looking for a way run the background process, so that I can do a get-process, while he was running to show he was running, I discovered that start-process allows you to specify the - ArgumentList parameter. (windows - start a detached in PowerShell background process - Stack Overflow) (2 responses)

    So, it looks like this:

    Invoke-Command - Session $RMSession - ScriptBlock {"$CDRom = Get - WmiObject - class Win32_CDROMDrive | select drive"}

  • VMware Workstation 11 crashes after installing VMware tools

As the title suggests, VMware Workstation 11 crashes after installing VMware Tools with a guest Windows 7 x 64. I am running VMware on a host Windows 7 x 64. It happens every time I try to install the guest operating system. Attached to this post are all the newspapers that I could find that I thought would help solve the problem.

    Thank you

As you may already know, VMware has just released a major update for 11 workstation (including VMware tools updated). Workstation now works almost perfectly. I don't have accidents since then. This means that I have was right in my post above. This is indeed nothing more than a BETA version of VMware buggy, lazy, masked as a "final". Wow, it looks like that a respectable company like this would not resort to such unethical practices. I mean that you would expect this kind of crap of a company like Electronic Arts, but VMware? Come on guys, you're better than this!
