• Error 1402 refers to a nonexistent key.  Cannot install or uninstall to troubleshoot printer driver.

• Of EPSON printer driver dealing with CD printing is not installed

  Fantastic little printer and I want to continue to use it.

  I managed to install all the drivers for it, except one. When I try to print on a cd/dvd, I get the message "thedriver of printer EPSON The dealing with CD printing is not installed". I have been all over the internet, but all I found was a more recent version of programming Print CD that gives me the same message.

  I use a laptop Lenovo G505 with windows 8.

  Any pointers in the right direction for these drivers would be very appreciated :)

  I am trying to install the printer driver for HP OfficeJet G55xi.

  When I went to the HP site, it said to install Windows 7 operating system printer driver, by plugging the printer on my Windows 7 computer using a USB cable.  I did, but it was not installed.

  I also need to install the HP Director software.

  I had a computer technician to connect remotely to my computer to install the printer.  He had to install additional tools that are available on the same site where I tried to install the printer driver.  I don't know how he did, but I watched it.  Anyway, he managed to install additional tools, which resulted in the printer being installed correctly.

  It's a pity that the site where I download the printer driver does not provide adequate instructions for how to do this.  I guess the solution is hiring a computer technician to do it for you.

  For the life of me I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong... The printer still works fine if I swap back to my old HDD so I know its something I do (or not do)... I tried to figure this out all day and have installed several drivers in normal mode and compatibility without result.

  When I open devices and printers on the old drive HARD the printer name reads "Dell Laser Printer 5100cn PCL6" but when I check the devices and printers on my new SSD it reads "Dell Printer 5100cn PS"...   However, I see no driver Windows 7 listed there.  If this is the case, try the Vista drivers because most of the time they will work.  Sometimes, they work, but most of the time they, then try it and see.  If they do not work in normal mode, try to install in compatibility mode.
