Install on the laptop more old?

El Capitan works well on a MacBookPro mid-2010 with 8 GB of memory?  This laptop has a 2.4 GHz Core 2 Duo processor and GeForce 320 M graphics. Does anyone have experience of upgrade on this platform?  I understand the 3rd party software compatibility is important but distinct.

Third-party software Yes is a problem if you are running old software that has not been updated to work with El Capitan. Make sure that all your third-party applications will continue to work before the operating system upgrade.

Make sure your computer is on the list of the El Capitan computers support. OS X El Capitan - technical specifications

AFTER ALL THE ~ through the MESS you created and YOU in ME SAYING that "in order to have a chance to get the answer to my question ~ to give you ALL THE DETAILS I can ', you REFUSE to accept by saying, ' Please keep the length of your question to 255 characters or less...» » !!! You are ABLE to say that BEFORE I go through all the other MESS? HOW TO BRING BACK THE BROWSER MORE OLD?

ISSUE INITIAL = I got SEVERAL plugins that WORKED! Then, I 'upgraded' {like you, LAUGHING, claim} to your version of Firefox 4 after promising to you that it is BETTER and, supposedly, an IMPROVEMENT over the old version. After you install the NEW one ~ IT TURNS OUT ALL MY PREVIOUS PLUGINS! Your WISHTHEYWUZ "PROGRAMMERS", very skillfully {and, in fact, HATEFULLY} uh, kinda "forgot" to make the new browser for COMPATIBILITY ASCENDANTE so that it does not DESTROY us, already, had ~ that WORKED before YOU put your hands on it! So, now, * HOW * I get the OLD version back? I think you need to KNOW what you can do with this new 'UPGRADE' which is, in fact, a LIE! UPGRADES don't take you BACKWARDS ~ make things WORSE ~ real upgrades make things BETTER! DUH-H-H!

    ORIGINAL DETAILS =
I, recently bought, a new HP 4500 printer and it came with an extension to capture video/plugin. Attempt to use, the program informed me that I had to use, either, an IC or a Firefox browser mentioning the version1.5 {I think it was} or later. The Firefox browser I was using was 3.something; then, everything was going along FINE. When I installed the video capture program, she added the plugin for the browser ~ PERFECTLY! I had too MUCH other plugins that worked and I used somewhat regularly! NO MORE! YOU and your TOTALLY INEPTE, WISHTHEYWUZ 'PROGRAMMERS' STOLE half of my COMPUTER! I can't, is more, USE ALL OF THOSE PLUGINS, simply because you "forgot" {say} to INCLUDE in your new browser version 4. WHAT WAS WRONG WITH THEM? WHY DON'T * YOU * WANT ME TO BE ABLE TO USE THEM, MORE?

Apparently, YOU think that the computer world revolves around YOU, and YOU are its AXIS! You feel that YOU have NO RESPONSIBILITY to make YOUR programs in no way compatible with what is already available ~ according to the "advice", I noticed on one of YOUR pages WHILE REACHING THIS ONE, you said that everyone must adapt to YOUR claimed "improvements" that are just DESTROY!

All I want is for YOU to either MAKE YOUR VERSION 4 COMPATIBLE; or advise me on HOW to get the EARLIER back version that * IS * compatible. Otherwise, I'll switch to another browser and advise all the others that I have one any influence to do the same for the good of their overall computer enjoyment!

  • What I have to install all the updates more or is the latest patch all previous issues?

I have a laptop that I sometimes use, but is not my main computer. I pay for the use of the internet by the GB.

Question: When I do not turn on this laptop, I have several updates. especially security for vista that sometimes require a lot of data useage. What I have to install all the updates more or is the latest patch all previous issues?

    Original title: several updates

    Hello

Monthly updates do not reach the GB amounts; they are a few MBs.

You must install all the updates of priority; the options are to you.

Performance and security updates are very important to keep your camera in a good and safe working order.

SP1 and SP2 released centuries ago have been a highlight of security and Performance updates in time and had to be retained and priority of updates, you receive now are certainly needed.

    FOR INFO:

Microsoft gives sometimes you updates for the 3rd party hardware: graphics, network cards, etc.

You only get the latest drivers for them to real hardware manufacturer's website, as Microsoft does normally or those have the most recent drivers available as Microsoft is based from the 3rd hardware manufacturer left to provide.

    Help, please...

    Hi dynamitenews

    1. are you able to boot to the desktop?
    2. what happens when you try to start the computer?

You must have the DVD drive to start the computer using the disk, you cannot use the external hard drive to do the same thing.

Also I suggest you to make sure you have defined the start as CD/DVD-Rom as the first choice option in the BIOS. See below the help link-
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/BIOS-frequently-asked-questions

If nothing is done, then you can contact the manufacturer support for assistance on setting up the correct boot sequence and check.

Hi, I am planning on buying a laptop and the need to have the programs installed in the laptop, I am able to use this account or I will have to go and buy the programs all over again

with one single-user subscription cc, you can install programs Office app and cc cc on an unlimited number of pc and mac computers.

(you can only sign on, at most, two computers at once, but even that isn't a drawback for a single user.)

  • Pavilion 15-P001TX: RAM manually installed in the laptop

    Hello.

I have a laptop HP Pavilion 15 - P001TX, which has 4 GB of RAM, integrated into it. Recently I realized that for the purposes of my work, the 4 GB of RAM provided is not enough for me, so I want to buy another 4 GB of RAM and install it into my laptop, my 8GB memory total. In this regard, I have a few questions:

    1. can I install the RAM manually by opening the Panel of the laptop inside of myself? There are several slots of RAM for my laptop?

    2. doing so Will void my warranty?

    3. If my warranty will get Sub, can I buy a new RAM and ask the people of HP's service center to install it for me?

4 RAM which company will be more suitable for the model of my laptop?

    Thanks in advance.

    Kind regards

    Rishi.

    Here is the Service Manual:

    Manual

See pages 106-117 for the installation of the memory. It requires the removal of the motherboard and puts at risk the warranty.

On page 3, it shows that the Intel models have only a slot of memory. I think it's probably true for the lower end of Intel models and yours is an i5 so I think that yours has 2 slots memory I can't find documentation so you be sure had better assume she's a. So to have 8 concerts would require the purchase of a module of 8 GB.

    HP part number:

Module of memory of 8 GB 670034-005

Where do you live (single country) as this can impact your HP support options. I heard, in some countries, the Service Center will install memory that you buy from them if the laptop is still under warranty.

  • win7 install on the laptop CL 2023 g7

I did a fresh install of Windows 7on model Pavilion g7 2023cl (after repartitioning the HD and formatting).  The base OS installed OK, but no drivers for the PCI bus, bus SM, peripheral USB, etc. were installed.  The download page for the driver for this laptop in particular has drivers for display, etc., but nothing for the chipset (driver download other pages have chipset drivers available).  What must be installed to get the basic features recognized?

    You are the very welcome.

You need this driver for the wired NIC - a second on the list.

For the wireless, do like this...

Go to Device Manager and click on the network controller device.

At the top of the network controller window, click the Details tab.

Now, you see a Description of the list system default list drop-down property.

Drop down on it and select the second element (Hardware ID).

Now, you see 3-4 lines of characters, the upper line starting with PCI\VEN.

After this first line of characters.

  • How can I make the FN keys work with your laptop more old?

    Hello

I have laptop Satellite 5200-902. Unfortunately there is no support for such portable one 'old' as this on Windows Vista. Vista runs very well on it but the only thing I didn t do is to operate buttons FN in Vista.

Can someone please give me an advice?

    Thank you

    Hello Danny

Unfortunately, I don't think that you'll have success with these buttons. The fact is that Toshiba use self designed utility for all FN keys features. As you know, old models of laptops are not supported in vista, and you will not be able to find and install any utility for it.

Sorry but there is nothing to do.

  • Update Win 7 Starter to Home Premium operating system from a hard disk of the laptop with old?

I have a netbook with Win 7 Starter.  I have an old laptop that the motherboard is dead hard disk.  I would like to transfer the Win 7 Home Premium OS from the hard drive of my netbook.  Since I already own the licence of this OS, is it possible to transfer?

If Windows 7 Home Premium came preloaded on the old computer where the motherboard is dead, the answer is no. If the Home Premium license is a retail upgrade or full version, then all you have to do is use the key and product upgrade Starter to Home Premium.

If the Windows 7 Home Premium license you have access to is a retail version update or complete, you can use the product key and the Express upgrade from Windows 7 Starter to Windows 7 Home Premium. First of all, check that the edition of Windows 7, you are upgrading is already enabled (if it isn't, you will encounter complications and that you might start all by performing a clean installation). Click Start, type Anytime Upgrade, click on the option to enter a key, enter the key of Windows 7 Home Premium, when asked, click Next, wait while checking the key, accept the license agreement, click on upgrade, wait while the software upgrades, (it may take 10 minutes or more depending on the if updates are required) your computer restarts automatically, after the reboot, Windows 7 will notify you updating the computer, the computer will restart once more automatically and will be completed the upgrade, a window will appear notifying the upgrade was successful and your computer is ready to use, click Close, you should be upgraded to Windows 7 Home Premium files the stored settings and programs.

  • CC can be installed on the laptop and desktop

I do most of my editing on my desktop, but would like to have access occasionally on laptop, especially when traveling. Can it be installed and work on both devices?

    Mike

As Calle said, you can install it on a second computer. Here are the details:

    Guinot

    Purchased software:

A single license for Adobe software allows you to install applications on two computers, but you can only use the software on a single computer at any given time. If you want to install the software on a third computer, deactivate the software on the computer on which you will no longer use the software. Then, activate the software on the new computer

You can install most of the Adobe software on up to two of your computers, with some reservations.

    Creative cloud:

If you use creative cloud, you can install applications on your main computer and a backup computer. You will have access to the Mac OS and Windows versions, so if you have a Mac at home and a PC at work, for example, you can install your applications on both. See the page of the product license agreements for more information. Read more in the FAQ of creative cloud

Go into the BIOS, use the tab of the System Configuration.

    Enable Legacy Support.

Plug the USB key into one of the usb ports.

Press the F10 key to save the changes and exit.

Now, press the F9 key to select the first boot option.

You should see the USB key as one of the options if it is in fact a bootable flash drive.
