Install the new program, but he said I didn't have enough space

I wanted to install SPSS 20 to my windows 7, but my installer said I didn't have enough space

as you can see, in the screenshoot, thera are not any volume highlighted, in addition, the available space is much more than its needs, especially on the D drive, where I want to install the program

I want to contact the manufacter program, but didn't know where to join... so I ask here, have the problem on my windows?

Thank you very much

Even if you install a program on a non-system drive (for example, d :)), there's always space on the Windows system drive.

Make sure that all of the Temp directories are empty:

  • Run Disk Cleanup on all readers for all users
  • Go to control panel > system > advanced system settings > environment variables and check locations of TEMP and TMP, both for users (by default % UserProfile%\AppData\\Local\Temp) and Windows (by default C:\Windows\Temp) and make sure that all these directories are empty (AppData is hidden, so you don't have to "Show the hidden files and folders" in Folder Options > tools > view tab).  If one or two files cannot be deleted, it's OK

Installers must often double space 'necessary' during installation.  The dialog box shows approximately 1.8 GB "required" on C: but only about 3.2 GB of available.  If you can not remove more than C:, try to temporarily move 2 or 3 GB on D: while doing the installation.
