Installation driver for slave OS?

I have a question, my usb shipped from mothers does not (Yes, I'm sure) I only have USB ports, no PS/2

I opened the PC and there aren't housing PCI-E (x 3) not PCI

I bought a PCI-E USB card, the problem is when I start PC I need keyboard or mouse to install the driver.

I tried connecting via my laptop with desktop connection remote, I get the message that it isn't running on the PC

I tried to connect to the PC via my laptop on the startup of the service through computer management, says access denied, something error 5.

I installed the driver on my laptop, the completion of the plant to obtain the .inf, .dll, etc files and copy them into the folder windows inf, but this does not work, install the boot failed on.

Is there one had to get out my PC HARD drive, connect it to my laptop as a slave and connect somehow to install the driver?

No tricks, I'm afraid.

One of the two conditions appeared. Your keyboard has stopped the system it's a keyboard, or USB failed at a physical level on the motherboard. A USB keyboard will have access to the BIOS etc regardless of whether or not there is a drive with this Windows or not, so I doubt that it is a driver problem Windows...

The cheapest option is to try another keyboard which is called to work without a doubt. Failure to remedy this, you look at the most expensive option might be to replace the motherboard...

  • installation driver for Qx5 computer microscope

    Hello

I have a Dell laptop inspiron 13 with Windows 7 (64-bit). My laptop doesn't have any CD player. We recently received a Microscope digital blue QX5 computer (v1); However, when we came to install the driver for the microscope with connects via the port USB is not found.

I think I have the first version (v1) of the QX5 microscope and so I'm not sure, after being on the manufacturer's website, there is a driver for this device. If I find the right driver how do I know that my computer it will pick up if I downloaded it?

Thanks in advance for any help.

When you download a driver, you must usually install.  So, you should pay attention to where it downloads.  With IE and Firefox, you can open the containing folder, so you can do and SEE which he downloaded.  Downloads usually go in your DOWNLOAD folder.  There are usually building instructions to the location that you download from.  If it is in the form of xxxxx. EXE, you can simply double-click it to install it, but look for the manufacturer's instructions.

    Good luck.

    KB99,

Is your computer 32-bit or 64-bit?  You can find by clicking Start > Control Panel > system and security > system and look under "System Type". It's maybe you try to install the 32-bit driver on a 64-bit computer, or vice versa.  The two types of drivers are available on the site of HP CM1015 at http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/DriverDownload.jsp?prodNameId=1846081&lang=en&cc=us&taskId=135&prodTypeId=18972&prodSeriesId=1846080

I get this error message when you try to install the driver 'Remote NDIS based Internet Sharing Device' Microsoft allowing me to attach my cell phone.  This driver installs normally automatically whenever I attach my phone to a computer windows 7 via USB and enable tethering.  I did several times with success on other systems, as well as one currently give this error.  I tried the registry setting:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management]
    "PagedPoolSize" = DWORD
    "PoolUsageMaximum' = dword:0000003 c

As suggested in another article about this error message on a XP machine without success.

Currently expanded memory: 179 Non paged: 84

    Any help would be appreciated.

I also had this problem for awhile now and have been unable attach despite trying your suggested corrections.

Could you clarify what the error code 5aa means exactly? I get this error code when getting the "Insufficient resources" error when trying to install/upgrade my Motorola Network Interface driver, but the same error code appeared recently when I tried to install the latest version of my application of attachment, which gave me the same error code even if instead of "insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service." , it was in response to
    'UpdateDriverForPlugAndPlayDevices err is 5aa'.
I could only solve this problem by installing an older version. I think to understand it this error code would better identify the source of this problem.

  • Stand alone driver for the minimal application installer MyRIO

    Dear all,

I'm trying to deploy a full installation package for a laboratory study, which would include:

    1. exe application file compiled from a VI. This VI connects to the MyRIO via network flow.

    2 labview runtime engine

3 driver for the USB LAN unit MyRIO.

First 2 steps succeeded, and the VI communicates with the device via WiFi MyRIO. However, I would like to connect trough USB and need a driver on the host machine. Installation of a complete driver package is certainly an overdose for this occasion.

Therefore, I'm looking for someone to report to a minimum installation package that would ensure good communication with MyRIO via USB.

    Regarding kind.

    Česlav

Thanks for the quick response Sam K

    .

After all, I found the file msi corresponding to the LAN drivers on the DVD myRIO. There is a separate driver for win XP, that does not work on my Win 7 64 machine. The following file actually worked very well "NiRio_USBLAN64.msi" with the associated cab file. Without the rest of the CompactRIO drivers it does not appear as MyRIO, but as a generic USB LAN adapter device. Connections work properly, exactly what I was looking for :-).

The bad news is that when you create an installer in the construction specifications, the .msi files are not considered as executable files and can not be integrated in a single installation procedure. Students will have to make several more clicks.

I also noticed that CompactRIO drivers can be integrated into Setup completely, which facilitates the procedure, but adds an another 150 MB to the installer against the 3.5 MB for only the LAN driver.

Maybe this thread will help someone else.

  • Error installation software device driver for removable devices in Windows Vista x 64

I have Windows Vista x 64 installed on my PC and nVidia Forceware motherboard and graphic cards.

When I plug in any removable drive into my USB 2.0 port, Windows starts the installation of the device driver software and then sees it as an unknown device. The dialog where he asks me if I want to 'locate and install driver software', 'Ask Me later' or 'don't show this message for this device.

I select the recommended option: "locate and install driver software.

I click 'Continue' when Windows asks me permission to continue.

Then, when the execution of the installer of the software in the bottom right of my screen, the installation of driver software for device, it shows "unidentified device failed.

Then another window pops up saying this:

"Found New Hardware - device unknown".

Windows encountered a problem installing the software driver for your device

Windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error trying to install it.

    Kodak

An error occurred during the installation of the device:

The driver for this device is missing a necessary entry. Maybe it's because the file INF was written for Windows 95 or later. Contact your hardware vendor.

If you know the manufacturer of your device, you can visit their website and check the support section for driver software. »

That's what he does when I'm trying to connect my Kodak Easyshare M550 digital camera. I would go ahead and contact Kodak, but the problem seems to extend to ANY removable device on my computer.

For example, I have a Lexar Flashdrive. When I plug it into my USB 2.0 port, it Windows says the following:

"Windows needs to install driver software for your USB Flash Drive", etc...

'Install the device driver software', 'USB Flash Drive search Windows Update'...

Then a window opens asking me to "insert the disk that came with your USB key. Problem is that no driver disk not supplied with the hardware that Windows Vista is supposed to come with the drivers. I know this because the camera and usb flash drive worked very well until I reinstalled Windows Vista on my new hard drive (new installation, because my old hard drive crashed) and I've NEVER had to install device drivers for Windows to recognize it as a removable drive and operate automatically.

Also, I installed Daemon Tools Lite and I had to manually "Update" the device driver to point to the "Windows\INF" folder in my hard drive, after copying the cdrom files needed for the specific subfolders for windows to let the program assign a drive letter for the drive virtual it creates.

I think that perhaps not all device drivers have been installed when I installed Windows Vista, this time. If that's the problem, I don't know how that could happen, nor how to fix it, but I really prefer to find a way to solve this problem without reinstalling Windows Vista again. I don't mind not manually install the drivers as long as someone can show me what files to copy and where to find them on the Windows Vista disk that I bought at Microsoft. I KNOW that Windows HAS come with these drivers.

If anyone knows how I can fix this, please tell me, because it's ridiculous to not be able to use any removable device readers (except for the use of all Flash drives). Thanks in advance.

I know it can be frustrating to solve problems.

I tried to install Win 8.1 software, but it's the same beam, so I had the same problem.  An older version might work, but it seems that you cannot access old drivers on the HP website.

  • Windows 7 continues default installation does not no driver for HD audio on a working one.

    Hello

I have a problem with the realtek HD audio driver in Windows 7 Pro x 64. My audio is an integrated sound card Realtek HD (realtek alc660 6-channel codec) on motherboard, Asus k8v - vm SE. Fresh after installation of Windows 7, it installs its default HD audio driver and says, it works (in the Device Manager it says, that the device works properly), but in the list of devices in reading (in the speaker system tray icon menu) there is no peripheral, so finally there is no noise. There is no problem, given that Realtek has its own drivers for Win7 x 64 available, which work just fine (ver. 2.39 R at the moment). The problem is that, after every single boot computer, Windows installs back its own drivers by default, which as I have already said do not work. The curious part is that it does not retrieve them after reboot, but only after the turn of market.

I think the problem lies in the fact that Realtek drivers are not certified, and the MS drivers are of course. I think that Windows is to choose the latter, because it believes they are safer (workin Realtek & non certified drivers vs MS pseudo-travail & certified drivers).

Someone has suggestions how to stop the installation of defective Win7 drivers? Installation of those appropriate to each boot is not very practical.

    Kind regards
    Dominik

    Hello

    1. the first solution didn't work, but it made me realize, that the pilot was not recovering but it was deleted and then recovered with the standard procedure (certified drivers > uncertified drivers). In addition, it was everything at random, when the driver has been deleted - sometimes it worked very well after stop and sometimes not.
    2. second solution can be followed only partially. Can I uninstall the device, but I cannot uninstall the Windows driver (maybe because the system is assuming that MS is the most trusted provider). Of course, I am able to uninstall third-party drivers, but I'm not ready to delete the driver from Realtek (I tried this however).

3 following the first solution that I found, that Windows still prefer certified above drivers is not certified. So I came up with an idea to remove the default window driver and disable the function of downloading drivers from Windows Update. It was quite tricky, because I found, I have (the administrator of the system without restriction) am not able to even list the driver file (c:\Windows\System32\drivers\HdAudio.sys), not to mention the actual deletion of the file. It's funny that I managed to the list by using the search function, but I was not yet able to delete, so I rebooted a LiveCD and deleted from there. I also removed copies of the folder in the places, where Windows Update downloads. After that it seems to work fine now.

    4. I suggest Microsoft to release a fix or sth, that will not Windows 7 install the default driver for this particular unit, since it does not work. Or allow users to decide which drivers they prefer to use - even is not certified, because it may not be an isolated case, when a certified driver is not of works, but a certified, does not it is preferred and used. Or force the producers to certify their drivers somehow.

    Kind regards
    Dominik
