Installation of 3 of 3 0% guard restart again and again

My windows vista computer ran a standard upgrade and installed during shutdown. . but all I get is the same «facility 3/3...» 0%. "Do not turn off computer ' at the stage of connection of windows... and it keeps restart the laptop again and again... and more! I can't go into the computer at work.

I run a HP laptop with Vista on it.

Biggest problem is that I can't find my disk to install windows - so I'm afraid I'll have to buy a new operating system.

Guard restart of Windows 8. How to start and let me connect?

    Hi Nirmal,

Try these steps to resolve the problem with the reboot loop:

    Use the Windows recovery environment:

    ·  If you have media for Windows 8 (for example, a DVD or USB), you can start media by following the instructions here. Select repair your computer, select Troubleshooting, and then choose command line.

    · If you have no media, try to restart your computer three times using the power button until the computer tries to start. It should implement the Windows recovery environment. Select see repair advanced options, then choose Troubleshooting. Select Advanced options, and then select command line.

    · Following type, hitting enter after each one:

    Bootrec /fixmbr

    Bootrec /fixboot

    Bootrec /rebuildbcd

    · Restart your PC.

I searched on the internet that all solutions are given if windows XP does not start. But in my case after restart only a single window loads successfully. I'm dubious before using the recovery console.
    Please help everyone,
no case I found the solution to this particular problem.

The question was preceded by a loss of power, aborted reboot or abnormal termination? (This includes pulling and buttons power).

These can cause corruption in the file system that must be fixed before you do anything else. If none of these events occurred (or even if they have not taken place), you must verify the integrity of your file system before anything else (especially "try" things).

Never, never, never start with the support engineer technical 'expert' who are hired by Microsoft to implement the KB307545.  You are likely to be in for a frustrating waste of time and might just make things worse.

Always, always, always start with a chkdsk with first error correction.

There is zero logic to start try to copy files to a hard drive with a corrupted file system so corruption of file system must be fixed first using the XP chkdsk program and run chkdsk can solve your problem completely.
Use the XP Recovery Console to check the file system on your HARD drive and fix the problems and then try to start your system - this may be all you need to do.  Or, you are welcome to just start trying things that might work.
Start the Recovery Console Windows using an XP bootable installation CD, or create a bootable CD from the Console of the Recovery XP (no XP media required).
A CD of XP Recovery Console is not the same as the recovery disks that may have come to a store to purchase the system.
If you have any bootable CD to run the XP Recovery Console or that you are not sure what type of bootable CD you have, can create a bootable XP Recovery CD of Console and don't forget (no support for XP not necessary).
If you need instructions to create a bootable XP Recovery CD of Console, we can predict that too (just ask).
After booting into the Recovery Console, you should be in this folder:
    C:\WINDOWS
For each of your hard disk partitions, you must then run:
    Chkdsk /r
For example, at the Recovery Console prompt, enter:
    CHKDSK c: /r
Let chkdsk finish to correct the problems, he could find.  It may take a long time to complete or seem to be 'glued '.  Be patient.  If the HARD drive light flashes, it's something.  Keep an eye on the amount of the percentage to be sure that it is still making progress.  It may even seem to go back sometime.
The chkdsk/r must be completed without error, you may need to run several times until it does.
Remove the CD, and then type "exit" to exit the Recovery Console and restart the computer and the report with your progress.

Vista and Windows 7 updated drivers love then here's how update the most important.

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now click on
Driver update (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right
Click on - uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
    each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
    necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW on device at the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER - manually check by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

If you update the drivers manually, then it's a good idea to disable the facilities of driver under Windows
Updates, this leaves ONE of Windows updates, but it will not install the drivers who will be generally
be older and cause problems. If updates offers a new driver and then HIDE it (right click on it) and

First remove all the third-party RAM installed on the computer and re - built-in. Then, restart and test, whether the KIMBERLEY process continues to have a barrette of faulty RAM MEMORY.

Finally, what third party RAM brand has been installed? In these forums, because the iMacs are sensitive and benefit from the high quality of RAM, the Crucial two (buy it direct) and the two OWC (www.macsales.com) RAM are recommended because of their high quality and reasonable price. You can also have another hardware problem, in your case I would try to boot from the Partition Recovery (command + R to start) and open disk utility to see if the boot disk is found. You can also use Apple Hardware Test or Apple Diagnostics according to the age of the computer to run a test to see if two applications can detect any material error.

  • MBP-restarts wobbly and never stops...

Happy 2016! My year starts well with my MBP mid 2014... He runs the last El Capitan, 1 G SSD.

I had a couple of files that were on my desk that I couldn't remove. They were not visible to any application of trash I have. I couldn't delete them. I could not get information about them. They were PDF files, but I couldn't open them. They appeared when I tried to clean up some old attachments and I put them inadvertently on the desktop. I suspect them came from the app, Pro Email Archiver. I say, I think since I was using the Finder in time and do not pay attention to where the old attachments were, I wanted to just get rid of them. My bad. Anyway, last night these 4 files were still on my desk, and one was even overlapping on any screen I had open at the time.

I Cocktail and I thought that maybe I could delete these files using the Cocktail party that deletes files that are stubborn. N ° which did not work. So I thought that, given that these files were invisible in looking them through the viewfinder, I would like to check display invisible files in a Cocktail. I rebooted. I think that the first time that I restarted it didn't reboot yet again so I could see that the files have disappeared and so I went back to invisible items Show Cocktail and unchecked. Restarted. And this is my MBP restarted again and again and again. I had 4 reboots, thinking that he can start this time. It runs through until the points appear on the desktop, then restarts. Whenever it restarts, I put my password. And the desktop. Then restarts.

I have a clone drive which has been cloned last night and that's what I use now. He holds very well with the clone. I ran Disk Warrior and made a regeneration. I ran Drive Genius and everything seems to be there-a well repaired permissions and checked the hard drive.

After everything I rebooted again, hoping that the use of these 2 apps solved the problem. Nope. Always keeps restarting. So I'm turning the Apple community in hopes of getting this problem. It is still under Apple Care, but I hope it's an easy fix.

Nothing in the trash can by the way. And I think that as the computer starts up very well with the clone is not a software problem. Please put your thinking hats and tell me what you think I should do.

Thank you very much for any help that you can give to this fear MeMaw! Judy

  • How can I get the installer for my application check the operating system type and then install the correct driver type?

I have a request that I wrote and have been use and distribute for awhile. The installer I created for this application is an additional installer to install a driver for the USB connection. The USB connection is actually a virtual COM Port. The problem is that the people who drafted modified driver setup the installation program itself. They used to have an installer that would check for 32-bit or 64-bit OS and then install the appropriate driver.

Now, they have two distinct installation programs: one for the other for 32-bit and 64-bit. They let the user know their OS and install the appropriate driver. I'd rather not have to rely on my users to do. From what I've seen the creater Installer provides that an executable to be run after the application installs.

Is it possible to have the installer of the application, check the type of OS and then run the correct executable file after installing my application? I think that I could write an Installer 'wrapper' that checks the type of operating system then executes the correct Installer. But I expect a better solution.

    Thank you
    Joe

    So, I make it work!

The trick is to find a way to determine what type of OS you are using. The method I used was, indeed, read the environment variable. A buddy of mine sent me this link:

http://StackOverflow.com/questions/2401756/how-to-find-if-the-machine-is-32bit-or-64bit One of the phrases he bibliography the Processor_Architecture environment variable.

It seemed like a reasonable idea. So I started to research how read LV it environment variables turns out, you do it by reading a registry key. There is an example of LV on how to read a registry key. But I did not know where they are in the registry. So, I searched the Processor_Architecture registry. I found it in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Session Manager\Environment.

According to the article in the link, this value will already be x 86 for a 32 bit OS, or something with 64 inside. I just check the response for x 86 string. If it is, I just run the x 86 version of the driver Installer. Otherwise, I run the x 64 version.

It turned out to be as simple as that.

    I hope this helps someone.

    Joe

My Office Windows XP SP3 has been "glued" on stop, installation of update 6 of 12 for 15 hours and counting.  I'm worried to turn it off because I don't want any major problems if it works again.

Can someone please advise on what I have to do to go even faster.

Thanks for any advice in the meantime.

As a result of the survey above.  I 'bit the bullet"and shut down the computer and no damage seems to have been made.

Time will tell I suppose.  Thank you

  • Where can I get a copy of the Windows XP installation for my sister. His was a virus and I had to format the drive. It's a registered computer

Where can I get a copy of the Windows XP installation for my sister. His was a virus and I had to format the drive. It's a registered computer. I have it ready for the operating system but I need to download a copy so I can retrieve my CD-ROM/DVD-Rom drive, so I can then bring to its system and reinstall the XP and then if she wants that we can get a windows 8. I use windows 8 on this system, I bought a few months ago and it's satisfying, but I don't understand why when I got it I could do things like using the keyboard of the screen with my fingers, but now I can't even use the keyboard mouse. It won't work at all. In a way I found it better that way at the beginning because I do a lot of typing and it would freeze until I was constantly stressed. I returned to Windows 7 mode I think but not sure.  All I know is that these two things have never worked correctly, so if they are still under warranty I will bring to the Future Shop and maybe they can fix it. I wish I could turn on and off easily so it does not interfere with my writing and study of a language second.
