installation of 32-bit client 12 c YES-10151
Hi Forum, I installed the new server database oracle 12 c (x 64) on Windows 7 (x 64) operating system. When I try to install the Oracle client 12 - to 32 bits in the same machine, the installation, I get the following error: "YES - 10151:There was an error loading library: ntActionLib" however I could install the client for 32-bit 12 c in Mode InstantClient (214.0 MB)! but I can't install it in Runtime (735.0 MB) mode. My basic oracle: My Oracle Home "C:\Oracle\base": "C:\Oracle\base\product\12.1.0\dbhome_1" it is worth to mention that I installed the db server and the 32-bit client under the same roof of oracle! All advice is appreciated. Thank you
I managed to solve the problem by performing the following tasks:
1. install the 32-bit client in an another oracle_home rather than db oracle 64-bit server.
2 set the oracle_home to 32-bit variable
3 - update the windows path variable and replace the bin folder home of oracle with the binary 32 bits. (for example, path = path; C:\oracle\base32bit\product\12.1.0\dbhome_1\bin)
4. open the sqlplus and sign in using this connection string: sqlplus user/password@dbname example sqlplus admin/123@orcl
Note that, when you stop and then start the listener to oracle db server, change the oracle_home to 64-bit (set oracle_home=C:\oracle\base64bit\product\12.1.0\dbhome_1)
I hope this helps someone else.

Hello
I try to install the Oracle Client 32-bit to the Oracle 64-bit on Windows 2008 server R2x64 I database I need to run my 32-bit application.
What I did:
1. install 64-bit Oracle database (10.2.0.4). My oracle is: "C:\oracle\orcl" and my service in the file name tnsnames is: "orcl".
2. install Oracle 32-bit Production Client (10.2.0.3) to the: "C:\oracle\orcl1."
Copy C:\oracle\orcl\network\admin to C:\oracle\orcl1\network\admin tnsnames
' 3. in the cmd prompt, I used: set oracle_home = c:\oracle\orcl1.
4. on the way of Environment Variables, I put: "c:\oracle\orcl1\bin."
.. .but it still does not work. I don't know where I mistake and what to do.
When I try to run my application I get an error: unable to load a library service IDAPI. SQLORA32.dll
Thx for the adviceWhat I would do, is to use 32-bit Oracle 11 client.
This file:
win32_11gR2_client.zip
I use a windows 64-bit and Oracle 10 system as customer Oracle 11 64-bit gave me fits.
Once I switched to the 32-bit client Oracle 11 stopped all my problems.

Can you install Oracle 11 g 32 bit and 64 bit clients on the same machine AIX 6?
We have a supplier who needs a 32-bit client on the application server which is AIX 6. We already have 11g 64 bit client installed there. So, we can install both or I am interested in a the first 64-bit client deinstall?
Yes you can, please check the documentation: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E11882_01/install.112/e24334/toc.htm#CHDIGJJB
From Oracle Database 11 g Release 2 (11.2), the client software 64-bit does contain the binary 32 bits client. If you need the 32-bit client binaries on 64-bit platforms, then install the 32-bit binaries from the 32-bit respective client software in a separate Oracle home.

32-bit installation alongside 64-bit
I have 64-bit drivers installed successfully on my Windows 7 64 bit system, and that they are working correctly. I need to install the 32-bit drivers as well, but I couldn't make them work again. When I open the 32-bit ODBC Data Source Administrator, he mentions a driver (Oracle in OraClient11g_home1, which is also included in the 64-bit administrator - it is the first sign of a problem?), but when I select it I get the following error:
The routines of installation for the Oracle in the of OraClient11g_home1 ODBC driver could not be loaded due to a system 126 error code: the specified module is not found (C:\app\currentUser\product\11.2.0\client_1\SQORAS32. DLL.
My 32-bit drivers (installed from the package win32_11gR2_client) are installed in the C:\app\currentUser\product\11.2.0\client_1 folder, while the 64-bit drivers are installed to C:\oracle\product\11.2.0\client_1. The 32-bit drivers must be installed as client_2? Is this another problem? I missed a step of the installation/configuration? The registry lists Oracle in OraClient11g_home2 as being installed in the correct directory, folder, but I don't understand why it does not appear in the ODBC Administrator.I think that you would expect, you will need a second home of Oracle. I got the same problem, try to install a program that requires the 32-bit client (PLSQL Developer).
You can find my not to do it here:

Are both 64-bit and 32-bit Oracle on the same computer? It is where PTools 8.5 x is confusing so far. It is 64-bit capable only, but on Windows, to Oracle 32-bit libraries to run the client (Appserv, CRP, AppDesigner, DMS). It will be fixed within 8,53 PTools where we will rid us off the coast of the need for 32-bit (particularly embarrassing for Appserver/CRP on a server). So far, we will need both the server, 64-bit managed to be the server, 32-bit has managed to be the customer. Overall, it makes the image even less clear.
In this case, make sure that the PATH variable contains the correct sequence (64-bit, 32-bit server server).
Basically, the variables ORACLE_HOME and path must be changed before using one or the other House.
If you want to use a connection with a server, the home64bit value, this should work:set ORACLE_HOME=
set PATH=%ORACLE_HOME%\bin:%PATH% set ORACLE_SID=mydb sqlplus / as sysdba If you want to use a login as a client, the home32bit value, it should work:
set ORACLE_HOME=
set PATH=%ORACLE_HOME%\bin:%PATH% sqlplus sysadm/sysadm@mydb Nicolas.

Dear reader,
on the autonomous 'hidden' with installers download site, I can't find the Windows 64-BIT version.
Can I get a link to the Flash version.
Thanks in advance.
Yes, the new Flash Player installer automatically installs the 32-bit and 64-bit players on a 64 bit system.

Hello
, I have in 3 data centers Dell 1850, identical hardware configurations. I installed Esxi 4.0 to the ISO from site Web de VMware dell custom help. He is successfully installed on all servers, without error at all. I've updated them all to the last generation, using VMware vSphere Client. I have a problem with one of the server when I want to use 64-bit machines, he realizes: this host does not support VT you have configured the virtual machine to use an operating system 64-bit client. However, this host is not able to run 64-bit virtual machines or virtual computer has 64-bit support disabled. For more information, see http://www.vmware.com/info?id=152. I don't understand why I got this, servers are identical, versions of BIOS, firmware, and all updates are the same. There is also a warning in the configuration tab, on the State of health link.
Thanks in advance for any helpful suggestion.
Yes according to the description of CPU, it seems that they do not support intel VT:

SQL * PLUS 32-bit Client required for 64-bit Windows
Hello
I had a 64-bit Windows OS and Oracle 11.
With 32-bit Applications (Crystal Reports) I can't run SQL NET thick, thin NET SQL and JDBC.
32-bit Oracle Installation is missing.
Oracles "Instant Client downloads for Microsoft Windows (32-bit)" won't do it.

What else to use?
Thank you
Martin SautterYou download the 32-bit client from:
http://www.Oracle.com/technetwork/database/Enterprise-Edition/downloads/112010-win32soft-098987.html

Oracle 11 GR 2 64 bit and 32 bit client together?
Hello gurus, a question for you...
We install FINS 9.1 on tools 8.51 on Windows 2008 and with Oracle 11 g 2. Our issues, that's the best configuration?
-client 64 bits and 32 bits 11 GR 2 (for application / batch server)? It would work in reality?
-GR 11, 2 (even if she is not certified) 32-bit?
I would gladly appreciate advice or comments. Thank you.
AndyYou will need to install Oracle 64-bit (for database - database of 32-bit software installs not on a 64 bit OS), and since you are on Windows, you also need Oracle 32-bit client (unlike the previous version, there is no 32-bit libraries shipped in 64 bits 11 GR 2 database software). It is fully certified and works very well.

I have a running 7.2 ASA5510 (1) 19 and ASDM 5.2 (1). I anyconnect-victory - 2.2.0133 - k9.pkg installed, but 64-bit clients cannot connect to it.
64-bit clients connect and they float on a portal and the customer will not be downloaded. 32-bit machines download the downloaded client.
Any thoughts?
Thank you
The customer connect everything requires ASA 8.x and not 7.2.x. Please take a look at this link:
http://www.Cisco.biz/en/us/docs/security/ASA/compatibility/ASA-VPN-compatibility.html
I'd say go to 8.0.3 (or later in this course).

vCO client: no more 32-bit Clients
Hello
This morining I try to install the 32 bit on my computer Windows XP Client... but what must my see dry eyes? There is no 32-bit client from 4.1.1 :-(
Hope you know now before you install a 32-bit Windows computer :-)
Best regards
Christian
I had no time to check if the 32-bit binary was in the 4.1.1 archive. If it is not, and if you want to stay on a 32-bit client, you may be able to use vCO 4.1.0 with 4.1.1 Customer Server. We may not officially taken over as this configuration, but it can work very well since I am not aware of any change of model in 4.1.1.
Christophe.
