• MX installation on a new Mac.

  We bought a new iMac Duo and went to Adobe Store to redownload MX version 11.02 we had on a previous Mac.
  11.02 MX install but when you double-click to open it, the raised hand icon bounces for maybe 10 seconds, and then continues to do nothing else.

  Out of frustration, I removed everything that Macromedia and re-installed all and ran the patch here (I did everything previously as well) we take off (the bouncing ball). Also, I rebooted and repaired permissions too.

  The problem is that CS5 is out before OSX is enhanced security setting. It causes this misleading error because it is not "signed" as a trusted application and therefore is blocked.

  You must go to your security & privacy in the Apple system preferences and set it Anywhere temporarily before opening the DMG, installation and update. After that is finished, set it to the Mac App Store and identified developers.

  I just started using a new Mac Pro.  My old Mac Pro had installed Photoshop CS5.1.  I want to install it on the new Mac, but difficulties as follows:

  I normally expect to download the installer and drag it directly into the Applications folder.  But instead, when I clicked on the disk image, a set of files came.  One was marked "install".  When I double-clicked who, a dialog box told me that the file was damaged and should I eject the disk image.

  Has not been supported.
