Installation of ROXIO MISSING of Lenovo recovery DVDs

Need help!

Recovery installed OS from the Lenovo DVD delivered to me and Roxio or IBM recordnow don't get included in the installation. Hoped not to have to request another set of Lenovo recovery software.

They have a FTP site with updates etc. I was wondering if anyone had the link to get the software Roxio i miss for Vista 64-bit. Thank you

JAY

I spoke with a support technical Rep considers my lack the software to support copy/burning on my DVD burner. (Roxio etc...) The representative was told that the laptop has not come with this software. I lost him almost upon him.

Thanks to a little search their FTP site, I found Miss multimedia center software. Hoping that this will include the I need a burning software. If this isn't the case, I'll have to get a copy of Neor elsewhere.

Knowledge of documentation support team considers their products leaves a little to be desired sometimes. Thank God we have this forum to help us.

How can I install a new HARD drive recovery DVD?

    Hello!

Have you checked the BIOS if the new HARD drive is recognized properly?
Maybe the new drive HARD isn t working properly and if the BIOS doesn't recognize it. Then you are also not able to install the disc of recovery on this subject.

Normally, you only have to boot from the recovery disc and follow the instructions on the screen. All that s.

  • T400 Recovery DVD vs T500 recovery DVD

I bought Lenovo recovery DVD and received those with T400 part number and wanted to make sure that they would work with the T500 I. The operating system is going well, but my main concern was with the drivers and the software, if there is no difference between the two computers.

The main difference between the T400 and T500 (considering that they have two GPUS) is the GPU, but they have a generic ati catalyst driver, so the driver would load the file corresponding to the GPU... displayport needs via video drivers, so even if T400 is not on the physical system, she would still have the drivers for it.

But you can call Lenovo to clarify the situation. Of many Thinkpad recovery media can be used in systems configured the same.

  • Portege M400 recovery dvd - installation of the OS

I am very disappointed with toshiba dvd recovery. It installs all tools Toshiba Utilities without no possibility of choice. Is no way to install the OS without the Toshiba stuff? Or is a kind of utility "extract" just OS recovery dvd?

    Hello

I don't know why you're disappointed with the recovery CD.
The recovery CD is a simple method to install the whole OS with all Toshiba drivers, tools and utilities.
If you do not need Toshiba tools so you can remove it simply the system.
As far as I know, you should get the recovery CD and also Tools & Utilities CD or DVD.
On this CD, you will only find the drivers, tools and utilities.
In this case, you can install a new OS from the original CD of Microsoft, and then you can install all the drivers that are placed on the media.

  • Satellite A100 - WXP Recovery DVD Installation via USB

    Hello

I have a laptop Satellite A100 and the DVD drive no longer works. I don't want to waste money on an external DVD drive. I want to install the recovery from a USB device. I copied my recovery disk image and saved as ISO.

My window of recovery of origin is "Windows XP Media Center". I don't want Linux operating mode. : P

I tried several methods, but they did not work for me. (Unetbootin, Ultra ISO, etc.)

If someone could help him in any way will be appreciated.

    Kind regards

As far as I know it doesn t work on this image of the way and the recovery can be installed with the bootable recovery disk. You can not simply copy all the files on USB and install recovery image.

This should be easy kind of manipulation that can be used on the different laptop models. Please note before recovery image installation begins the data in the recovery image and data saved on the motherboard should be compared and if this doesn't match t, you will be unable to install the recovery image.

ODD for this old model of laptop is not expensive. You can find used one on ebay and replace it yourself. If you need assistance, we can help you.

  • Iconia W3 Recovery DVD could not perform the complete installation

Hi, my Acer Iconia W3-810 comes with a recovery DVD. When I try to reinstall Window 8 on tablet PC using Acer recovery media, he could not complete the installation. The system of updating the restore process finished about 33% before moving to 100% and DVD was ejected from the car. There is no place to put the product key or any other information. Windows can be started with very limited after the installation functions. There are no wireless devices. Does anyone know similar problem and how to fix it. Thank you.

Well I don't know that the recovery CD has all the special Intel drivers. Once you start, it may be necessary to run the package of pilot to support.acer.com for your table in order to restore the additional drivers.

    Hello

Maybe you have an old version of your Windows XP operating system in the Microsoft Windows CD.
I guess you are not able to install the OS, because some updates and SP are missing on the CD.
You should try to include service packs of MS, and then install the operating system.

PS: I put t understand why you n t use the recovery CD. The installation is very simple and al Tosh drivers are pre-installed. OK, it s a Home version but there aren't huge differences of Pro

    Hello buddy

It is badly located now. Please try to do it once more.
If the same thing happen there is nothing you can do. I'm not an expert for this kind of thing, but I noticed the image recovery recovery DVD will be copied to the HARD second partition disk) first and then the installation of recovery will go from there.

If the adaptation procedure is not done on the recovery of end procedure cannot be started.
Sorry buddy. In my opinion, you can try to contact the nearest authorized maintainer and explain the situation. Take the DVD created as evidence and maybe they will order new media for free.

    Good luck!

Although I made an image of the Win7 DVD system before my HD crashed completely, but after the installation of the new HD I get error message: PXE - E61: media test failure and "no image file cannot be found on this PC.

If my image is corrupt, where can I buy a good image file.

    Sincerely, Koller.

Original recovery DVD you can order on https://backupmedia.toshiba.eu/landing.aspx

Anyway, if you have created a recovery DVD, you can use it for recovery image installation.

  • Reinstall Vista with recovery DVDs

    Hello

I don't have much experience with things... But here's my story:

My sister (Satellite L300 10 q) laptop was running very slow after 2 years of use. Then she tried to reinstall everything to factory settings...
So we did a recovery DVDs with the Toshiba Recovery DVD tool, we started the computer with the disk in it... but nothing happened...

Someone said to start and go to start settings and select CD/DVD to start and so we did.
After that a progress of the installation came...
We had to choose a language and click Next and the system warned us that everything would be removed...
This is no problem, because it has saved his important files on an external hard drive.

After this progress of the entire installation, systems tried restarting, a blue screen came and if it restarts again and again... If we chose not to scan, it kept going on blue screen and reboot...

    We are really powerless...
What has gone wrong? And what can we do about it?

    Thank you

    Very interesting, I must say.
