• EQL MEM Kit - active paths reduced from 4 to 2 after the installation of SDK Dell MEM

  We currently have 1 group EQL which EQL 1, PS6100XS member. The PS6100XS Member currently has 3 data warehouses. In courses run ESXi 6.0 u2 and MEM kit 1.3.0.410095 (dell-eql-mem-esx6 - 1.3.0.410095). The ESXi host has 4 network dedicated to EQL iSCSI adapters. All networks are confirmed to be installed properly with good ESXi iSCSI Port binding.

  Before you install the SDK Dell MEM on the ESXi host, active paths in the vSphere EQL data store shows 4 paths. After you install the SDK Dell MEM, it correctly sets the path to DELL_PSP_ROUTED but the railways reduced to 2 for each data store:

  

  Note: it is not a high volume of traffic again on data warehouses because it was such an environment relatively new.

  Any thoughts as to why there are only 2 active channels showing and not 4?

  Hello Saud,

  This behavior is quite normal.  MEM and the table negotiating connections as needed.  Each connection consumes memory on the table, reducing the County means that more memory is available for the cache.

• Oracle ADF Mobile - Android SDK problem

  I use Jdev11.1.2.4.0 with ADF Mobile framework 11.1.2.4.39.64.71 EQUIPPED. While I'm deploying application in the Android emulator more precisely Android SDK Manager 22.2.1.

  I got an error like.

  You must use Oracle MAF instead of Oracle ADF Mobile in the future.

  Google continues to change the location of the files in their installation of SDK - so change between versions of the API of the location of the files.

  Make sure that you use the API right supported by your Mobile ADF or the version of the MAF.

  I went thought that the installation and configuration guide. Want to clarify a few points here

  (1) for the POC (for the purposes of the development of a custom code via SDK to merge PDF files), can I install LiveCycle ES on Windows Vista? Vista is 32 bit OS.

  (2) in LiveCycle PDF Generator ES notes I've met.

  When you use PDF Generator ES2 with a 64-bit application server, an additional 32-bit JAVA virtual machine must also be installed.

  On UNIX AIX server with WebLogic 10, do I have to install additional 32-bit Java to run LiveCycle PDF Generator ?

  (3) can I install WebLogic 10 / Websphere 6 (64-bit) on my vista desktop (32 bit) and proceed with the installation of LiveCycle PDF Generator?

  Please share some links to additional information (as installation details, SDK QAnywhere etc.)

  (4) is to install Acrobat Pro Extended for the use of PDF Generator SDK (only to Merge PDF files generated by SAP Business Objects Reporting tool).

  Vista 32 and 64 are supported for turnkey (JBoss), assessment and development only.

  2 - Yes, you still need a 32-bit JVM

  3. you can do it, but this combination is not specifically referred to in the support matrix and therefore is not officially supported.

  4. If you do a simple assembler operation to combine PDF files, then you probably don't have Acrobat.  However; a license for Acrobat come with the purchase of product, so you won't need to buy a separate.

• Web Inspector does not not with Blackberry OS 7 and Chrome Simulator

  
  

  I found a resolution to this problem, at least for the moment - I downloaded and installed a different Simulator (Bold 9900 OS 7.1.0.523).  Previously, I was using the simulator that is included as part of the installation of SDK WebWorks 2.3.1.5.  The Web Inspector feature is now available, for the most part.  I found a deviation from the documentation that I have been following (http://developer.blackberry.com/html5/documentation/enabling_webinsp_microsite_1987478_11.html), which tells the user to click on the "Sources" icon to start debugging.  In my case, this is the icon of "Scripts" instead. When you click on this icon to the user has the choice to turn on debugging only for this session or always.  Choose 'always' active debugger, at least in my case.

• Cannot debug/run virtual Tablet

  I followed the tutorial as blackberry on their site for the installation of their tablet SDK and manufacturing and the operation of the Hello world app.

  I have Adobe AIR installed correctly and I have Adobe Flash Builder 4.

  On the installation of the SDK Tablet Blackberry I tried to integrate the Adobe flash builder SDK, but he continued to come on up with the message 'Incorrect Adobe Flash Builder directory' when the directory I chose was the folder that the program was installed in.

  OK, so from the looks of it, you must refresh your flash builder 4.0.1 to 4.5 (Burrito). 4.0.1 is just an update while 4.5 Burrito is a whole new 'upgrade '. its still in the preview but it works well.

  After you do the update of re - run installation of SDK blackberry from scratch and is no longer, you should get all the errors. the reason why you could not install less than 4.0 was because previously it would install but users encountered incompatibility issues so I guess that they hard-coded installation so it is not yet install to the 4.0 until updates user 4.0.1. hope that helps and good luck!

  Try to generate output JavaHelp (customer requirement), but facing problems. I followed the JavaHelp to Peter Grainge page and was able to get where test command line to work properly.
  
  When I try to generate the output of JavaHelp 2.0, I wonder for the installation for the SDK folder. I've specified just about every record in my configuration, including:
  
  C:\Java\jdk1.6.0_01
  C:\Java\jdk1.6.0_01\bin
  C:\Java\jdk1.6.0_01\jre
  C:\Java\jdk1.6.0_01\jre\bin
  
  But with all this, I get an error message:
  
  «Java Software Development Kit (Java SDK) is installed in the folder: C:\Java\jdk1.6.0_01\bin.»
  Cannot find java.exe javaw.exe and jar.exe.

  As promised, I wanted to post what looked like my successful installation so that others may benefit. Unlike Jim suggested, I didn't uninstall RoboHelp, and I don't think that this is necessary. It is, as he suggests, just more important get the installation of Java good and have the path and approx. variable set correctly.

  (1) RoboHelp

  Version: RoboHelp 5.0.2 Build 801. I have this installed in the default location:

  C:\Program Files\RoboHelp Office

  (2) Java SDK

  The 1.6 SDK doesn't seem to work. So I stripped all the Java installs from my machine (SDK and JRE) and started from scratch with version 1.5.

  I downloaded the SDK from this URL:

  http://Java.Sun.com/javase/downloads/index_jdk5.jsp

  Choose "JDK 5.0 Update 11 with NetBeans IDE 5.5".

  This installs the SDK, the JRE and the NetBeans (IDE for Java). You probably won't use it as a tech writer, but he is there as part of the installation and will not harm what either.

  One thing I did during the installation of the SDK and JavaBeans had to choose a path that had no spaces inside (i.e. not in "Program Files"). Installs as it sometimes automatically update your path, but cannot always spaces properly, so it was just to be sure. I used the default location for the JRE (runtime environment).

  Here is a cut and paste from my dialog install:

  Installation of J2SE Development Kit 5.0 Update 11 location:
  C:\Java\jdk1.5.0_11

  J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 11 installation location:

  (3) JavaHelp

  Also, you must have installed on your machine to JavaHelp. JavaHelp 2.0 is kind of the base line now, apparently (the previous version 1.1.3 was quite limited). I downloaded JH2.0 from this link:

  I put it on the same level as the installation of Java SDK:

  C:\Java\jh2.0

  (4) environment variables

  As Jim pointed out, you must set the Environment Variable 'JHHOME '. The value of this path must be the root directory of your installation JH, so:

  -Right click on my computer > properties.
  -Choose advanced > Environment Variables > System Variables
  -Check the value of JHHOME and make sure it matches the dir. to install to JH (in my case, C:\Java\jh2.0)

  (5) path of

  The path variable indicates the OS where to search for executable files, it can be executed. The edit which, as has been pointed out by Jim.

  Just for future reference. It was a little painful, but mostly because I wasn't familiar with Java, but also of the doc on the side RIGHT was somewhat deficient in guiding me to a successful installation.

• No installation option for CVI 2009 sdk

  When you try to generate a dll from a project that was created (and works very well) with CVI 8.0 using functions winSDK (winInet.lib)

  with CVI 2009

  I get "Redeclaration of FILETIME" errors. The winInet header and winInet.lib in the project are always the same found in the SDK for CVI 8.0. I couldn't find any Option to install some DVD SDK that installs CVI2009?

  Are there Versions of cvi2009 that contain win SDK and others who do not?

  Maybe a silly question, but I don't find any indication on this topic.

  Resolved: Installation - Option "Win SDK" is now "Install Win32 API", which was excluded from my installation

  I had the same problem with the installation program launches do not entirely.

  I'm running Leopard 10.5.8 and runs the Apple update to get the 10.5.8 update 8 solved the problem for me.

  If Eclipse stops working with error =-1 out of Java and then try to remove ' / System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework' before re - install the Mac 10.5 Java update 8.

  This reinstalls a new installation of Java so clears any Java issues.

  I downloaded the SDK Service push once again and reinstalled the JDK 6.

  I have already installed successfully the SDK on another virtual computer, but don't find any difference, why the installer does not work in this virtual machine.

  You could give a shot setup of Linux on your Mac, but my guess is that it might not work.

  A Mac-specific installer is coming in the near future by the way.

  An alternative is to download the raw distribution files themselves from here:

  You download the file to archive just Linux and download it to your Mac.

  The main difference between the installer and using the files from archive directly, it is that the installation program offers the possibility to deploy high level samples we provide with Apache Tomcat.  (Tomcat is not part of the SDK is, incidentally.)  "It's just to show the samples).
