During the installation, the process got to the step "Installation complete" and seems to have stopped. He remained at the same point now for more than 10 hours. Now what should I do?

I restart the computer. It comes up with "the installation program starts services. After a while, it says the installer does not start due to an error and I have to restart the computer and reinstall Windows 7. But it is immediately in the same message. I tried several different methods, and he repeats the problem. I think I have a problem that can only fixed by sending to the seller or the factory. Thanks in any case.

Moving control files; That I should stop after step 5?
DB version: 10 gr 2
I need to move the control files DBs to a new file system. I have prepared the following steps.
I read somewhere in OTN Instance needs a stop after step 5. Should an afte step5 stop the Forum? The database is not mounted. Right?Step1. create pfile from spfile Step2. shutdown immediate Step3. Using cp command, copy control files to the new location. step 4. startup NOMOUNT pfile=$ORACLE_HOME/dbs/init.ora; step5. ALTER SYSTEM SET CONTROL_FILES='new_location' SCOPE=spfile; step6. startup
ALTER SYSTEM SET CONTROL_FILES = "nouvel_emplacement";
no need to bounce back.Julien,
CONTROL_FILES parameter requires a rebound.Pete,
The database may not be mounted or open but the instance has started in nomount stage and you have to stop the instance. While its always good to make a backup of spfile, go CONTROL_FILES, you don't need to start using pfile. That's all you need to do.1. IMMEDIATE STOP
2. copy control files to the new location.
3 STARTUP NOMOUNT; -It now uses the spfile to start and now uses the old control files.
4 issue the command ALTER SYSTEM SET CONTROL_FILES as

Hello
I have an Acer with Vista SP2. It has no boot and auto repair after that I stupidly shut the computer manually during a Windows Update.
I fell asleep and woke up two hours after the start of the update of Windows. Then without thinking, I did a manual stop without recognizing the update restart message. Now Windows does not start, and the auto repair / recovery options have failed three times. Initially he gave me a (?) CMOS settings have changed the error so I went into Setup (with the delete key) and note the date / time has been reset to the date of manufacture of the computer, do not change that. I have however system virus detection function then it off after that repair failed the first time.
I bought a second hand computer and I have no original discs and I can't find a manually created recovery disc I thought I made some time ago. The label of Windows with Windows Vista Home Premium product key is on the computer. I have access to a Windows 7 CD since another cmputer if this can help me.
I sent thisquestion from another computer.
Your help would be much appreciated.

Windows automatically stops after a few minutes.
my computer operating system is Windows 7 start version, it will stop on its own, sometimes has no error message or blue or any color screen pls help. ?
Download SpeedFan to http://www.download.com and see if your computer is overheating. If base temperatures under 50 degrees C, you're OK, if they are over 65, that's your problem. In the meantime, it bears watching.
Good luck.

Windows XP stops after the backup of my settings
happened after running AVG PC TOOL don't know if optimize my settings for the ultimate speed and performance messed up my computer or if the disk wiping option did something.
Select Ctrl + Shift + Esc, then select the Applications tab. What is still running?
When your refer to the AVG PC TOOL do you mean PC Analyzer? I use AVG anti-virus but I wouldn't recommend using any registry tool, which is what is PC Analyzer.

Windows Explorer stops working after that I have to use Windows Update
Currently, using Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit service pack 1. After that I restarted the computer to finish the update/install Windows I can't use the functions from the Start button. Any attempt also runs programs through the Task Manager is met even uselessness. I gives me the error that Windows Explorer has stopped working and restarts. However, all program shortcuts that I have on the desktop can be used.
The only way to solve the problem for me is to use the system restore to take me to a previous time when I didn't have the problem. However if I try to update by using windows update I experience the problem again.
Im trying to download update is Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 and the .NET Framework 3.5 Family Update (KB951847) x 64
Finally, I'm sorry if I posted in the wrong forum, I don't know where to go. If posting in the wrong forum, I would appreciate a link to the right pair.

Hi Josh, I had the same problem with Windows Explorer on a HP Vista Home Edition 64-bit computer, it would keep restart loop and stops also all the programs in the taskbar.
I searched different forums and I tried different options, but nothing worked until someone said it might be a virus. I have Norton but it does not detect anything, so I tried Defender of Windows (that I had turned off because I had Norton) of Windows Defender found this startup program called mwau.exe to rest under C:\recycler\(random numbers...) but when I open the C: drive, I couldn't find anything manually, but there is no option to delete or disable it through Windows Defender.
Then I Googled that name and found a software called free Antivirus "Malwarebytes anti-malware 1.41 ' recommended by CNET download.com, it's a small program, but I downloaded and ran, it found and removed this mwau.exe, I have not had problems with Windows Explorer after that, apparently mwau.exe means (I think) auto update for Microsoft Windows.» But after its removal, I have more problems. My updates of Windows runs as usual and I get new updates as usual, but this muau.exe was probably evil viruses do.
Here is the download free link http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php
In addition, when you click on download the exe file name is mbam-setupGood luck. See you soon.

Windows Defender stop working after the malicious software removal tool
I ran windows software and after this removal tool, my windows Defender stopped working says its turned off, but when I try to turn it on nothing happens
This problem can occur because another security application is used or the Windows Defender service has stopped, or components of Windows Defender are corrupt.
You install any new programs recently? Windows Defender is not designed to protect against the extent of malware. If programs like Microsoft Security Essentials and Windows Defender both run, your system may experience degradation in performance and other problems caused by the conflict of two services providing real-time protection at the same time. I recommend that you keep the Defender off if another application of security protection is running.
If no similar security application is installed, I suggest that we have follow these steps to resolve the problem:
Step 1: Check the Windows Defender service
=================================
1. click on start, in the search box, type: "services.msc" (without the quotes) and press ENTER. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
2. double-click on the service "Windows Defender".
3. click on the 'general' tab. Make sure the "Startup Type" is "automatic". Then please click on "Start" under "Status of Service" to start the service. If the problem is not resolved, please refer to step 2:
Step 2: Save the associated DLL files
========================
1. click on start, type "cmd" (without the quotes) in the box start the search. Right click on CMD listed above and click 'run as administrator '.2. in the command prompt, type the following and press ENTER to each order:
regsvr32 atl.dll
regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\wuapi.dll
regsvr32 softpub.dll
regsvr32 mssip32.dll3. close the command prompt, and then run Windows Defender.
If the problem persists, please after return.

original title: Itunes and DEP
While downloading Itunes on my laptop right before you start to install, I get a message saying that windows Explorer stops because the prevention of execution of data has stopped installation. Is there any solution for this? I'd like to install itunes on my laptop.
Hi Steve681229,
Thank you for using the Microsoft Answers forum. Here's what worked for someone else. Thanks Kevin
Hi thrivenformore,
Please use the forum for Support of Vista,
You could try to add iTunes to the DEP exception list. However, this behavior is not normal. Go to the support forum of Apple for iTunes for Windows, search on DEP. There should be a thread "How can I turn off DEP for iTunes?" or it Prevet planting iTunes? "which provide troubleshooting steps you might want to try before adding it to the list of exceptions."
How to add the program to the DEP exception list:
1. Press Start, right click on computer and select Properties.
2. in the window that appears, click Advanced (on the left panel) system settings.
3. in the first box that says Performance, click on the settings button.
4. in the window that opens, click the Data Execution Prevention tab at the top.
5. There should be a box of exceptions in the middle of this window. Click the Add button and navigate to the C: drive, then Program Files, then the iTunes folder, and then choose the iTunes exe.
6. Add the exception, and then click OK in the window of the DEP.Hope this helps, Kevin

Windows 7 does not stop after updates
My computer will not stop after you install updates. What is the best way to solve the problem?
Thank you
Cam1956Hi cam1956,
The updates take time depending on the size of the file. If the update has hung so I suggest you hard reboot the computer and see if you can boot to the desktop. If you can boot to the desktop and then the updates are not installed will appear and which will be installed during the next update.
Run the troubleshooter in Windows 7 for Windows Update turn when starting the computer on the desk, and perhaps that should take care of the updates. Install updates by selecting two to both as the updates and see update is actually causing the problem.
Once you have identified the update that causes the problem, you can access the link below and install the updates manually.
http://support.Microsoft.com/default.aspx/GP/downloadover/en-AU#TAB0
If you know the updates that must be installed, you can manually enter the KB update in the search bar the link to download the update manually.
If the computer does not start on the desktop, then I suggest you to start safe mode and see if you can boot to the desktop. If you are in the office, do a system restore which will take the computer to a time where it was working fine and then start to install the updates manually as suggested above.
Go to the link below for the procedure to start in Safe Mode and system restore.
