Installation problem of almost any OS on PE2950 II PERC 5 / i SAS

Hello
I'm reassingning a PE2950 II (two Xeon dual core, 4 GB RAM, PERC 5 / i with single virtual disk RAID1 146 GB SAS) and I want to do a new installation of Windows Server 2003 R2 with SP2. Everything is very well thanks to the wizard of Server preparing the partitions and copies files Server Wizard and Windows Server CD but after completing this step instead of continue the implementation of the OS, the server is stuck at the "installing windows" screen It does the same thing so start it directly from MS media. I tried Windows Server 2003 32-bit Standard without SP, windows Server 2008 Standard 32-bit, Windows Server 2008 Datacenter 64-bit. SUSE Enterprise Server 10 SP2 can be installed without problem.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Gux.

You may have permanently damaged your Windows installation, but it is difficult to decide this question, although an online forum such as this.

You should not have deleted the files of C:\Windows\winsxs\amd64_microsoft-windows-tabletpc (unless you were actually only removing shortcuts).

WinFix is generally regarded as malware--> http://www.spyware-techie.com/winfix-10-removal-guide

I don't use Windows Live Photo Gallery (assuming that's what you are referring), so for the best chance of getting help, you should ask a question here--> http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windowslive/forum/gallery-files?sort=lastreplydate&dir=desc&tab=threads&status=all&mod=&modAge=&advFil=&postedAfter=&postedBefore=&threadType=all&tm=1460601829025

While you wait for a reply here, follow these steps.

Open the Photo Gallery, then click on the 'File' menu (to the left of the 'Home' menu)

In the window that says "Change how this library brings together its content" (one at a time) select every item other than 'My images' and 'Public Photo' and click on 'Remove' and then click OK.

  • 10g tools installation problem

Have an interesting question w / the programme YES for all products before 11g. I work in a Government environment and they have implemented strategies group at a crazy level. The last initiative was to disable the Compatbililty Mode on Windows 7. Thus the YES program simply disappears. I tried to change the settings to include the check for a version 6.1 operating system, tried different switches like - ignoresysprereqs and nothing works.

Until someone mentioned "these products are not certified... blah blah blah..." Yes, I know that. But the products DON'T work. We have installed Oracle 9, 10g, Designer 6, Designer 10 g, Developer 10 g. Ore g. Discoverer 10 on Windows 7. They work. What has stopped working is the YES program. If I can't install this last point is moot.

Is it possible to use the YES program that comes w / products 11g to install the older?

    Thank you!

In general, you must be a member without restriction of the Administrators group in Windows in order to install Oracle most (and almost any professional) products. As you said, the older products can be implemented on Win7 (32 bit), but with a few unknown problems known and probable. They may also work on 64 bit Win7, but with additional questions. I wouldn't recommend this for a professional/production work, because it can be risky and him more often is not supported by Oracle if you contact support.

One of the questions YES has been addressed in the Setup program included with 10.1.2.3 and newer. A work around for installing 10.1.2.0 (Developer Suite) with Patch 3 (10.1.2.3) is discussed in the Note 1292919.1 . This note presents a patched version of the installer that allows installation on Win7. However, as you will not be able to get this to work without being a member of the administrator group. To clarify... it may appear to install, but you probably will not be able to use all executables except if you are a member of the Trib.

Tried it on another laptop running Windows 7 - same problem. The installer sat on the market "in waiting to connect to the printer via the USB port.  When you connect, Windows recognizes a USB device and tried to install the device - came with an error that could not be recognized and need to contact the manufacturer for the installation files.

Update Windows, computer rebooted several times, deleted the HP installation files and tried with drivers downloaded from HP website - same problem.

    Any ideas?

I had the same problem when working on a clients computer.

    (1) it has been infected by viruses, so we had to make a Virus removal on his computer.

So you want to make sure that your computer is virus-free

    (2) in most Windows 8 HP computers in particular, drivers automatically installs on the computer.

Check your device manager and click on printers. It will show what is connected.

  • Repair Windows 7 installation problem

I want to try a repair installation on my computer running W7 Pro x 64 SP1 to see if it will solve a problem that I think is related to a problem with the OS.  I have a version of Windows and a valid product key, activated.   I have my original W7 install disk (it was actually an update of XP) as well as a separate drive that is the update SP1 of W7 (NOT an installation disc).

Despite having valid keys, I am unable to download the image of recovery of Microsoft software, receiving a message that the language is wrong and that I should choose another language.  I went to tech support and they said it was because the product key was used 20 times - I only used it once, and it was obtained directly from MS during a support for the problem to upgrade installation.

In any event after hours of troubleshooting including calls and conversations and an initial statement that my only recourse was to buy a new key technical support referred me to MS shop, telling me that they would give me a new key. After more chat, the MS store tech referred me to the reception of the answer; so, after hours of support not I dropped.

With the resources I have, is it possible that I can build a drive that I can use to repair/installation, without having to download a picture of MS?

Well, more hours on the phone with various divisions of MS support and FINALLY got someone who gave me a link where I could download an ISO of Win 7 Prof x 64 legitimate, installable to my system.  It took many more hours than I would have had to spend, this copy is legitimate, but, at least, I can now use this to do a repair/install of my dysfunctional W7 program.

With Adobe Creative cloud, I tried to download the desired programs, but after many problems and failures, I gave up and I contacted Adobe.

I have been informed, if you sell products Adobe CC user must be the default C: drive.  They then gently took more than an hour on a remote PC link to define the system as you wish for them

Finally, we have programs to download

Problem is Adobe Acrobat DC after launching the program I get the message ' installation problem: IMSLib not found.»  Services of Acrobat will not work. »

Anyone has any idea why and what I can do about this situation - because I consider the abandonment of the CC and revert to the version of CS

Adobe, you make this so difficult why not let users decide where to install programs on the machines out there

  • Options to upgrade to internal hard drive on laptop computer dv2000t (installation problems)

I need to replace a failed hard drive in my laptop dv2000t of 2006.  The drive I'm replacing was already a replacement car from the original 80 GB drive came with the laptop.  The first replacement 3 years ago (2008) was a 200 GB drive, which worked well for about 3 years.  But he just crashed (apparently).  I received warnings of imminent failure in 'Smart' car a week before, and then it finally is more start.  Subsequent tests on the extract disk show it as having failed in many sectors.

I had no problem to order a spare for the first time in 2008, restore a backup image to original disk Acronis, installation, etc.  Everything went well in 2008.   So I assumed that all would be gone smoothly for yet another replacement and upgrade.

In 2008, the drive I ordered was a W.D. (Western Digital, stick with the same brand as the original) disk SATA 2.5 inch 5400 RPM (200 GB).  It's a SATA (I) (1.5 Gbit/s interface).

The first disc I ordered recently (March 2011) was a W.D 2.5 inch SATA II (3.0 Gbps interface) 500 GB 7200 RPM (from 'Black Scorpion' line of W.D.).   Got the disc image disc to it and she came to the laptop.  Unfortunately, at the start and after the screen BIOS, all I get is a black screen with a white cursor blinking fast at the top of the screen.  Apparently by car is not recognized by the computer?  Then I did some reading in some online forums and found some references on this laptop is made not with the capacity of disks more or 320 GB with 7200 RPM drives (because they're hotter than 5400 drives).  And finally, references to the SATA interface speed.  I ordered a 2nd drive, W.D "Scorpio Blue" line, this time above a 5400 RPM 320 GB drive (but still SATA II).  Same story, still does not work.  So I decided that maybe the question was the SATA speed.  So I found someone who still had a SATA plus old (1.5 Gbps) W.D. drive in stock.  It's a W.D. SATA 250 GB (no longer manufactured).  It should arrive in a few days - and I hope this one works!

I would like to get some sort of confirmation on the white flashing cursor on the black screen at startup.  Is this typicalif the system could not find a bootable hard drive?  Also, is this SATA or SATA-II issue a probable cause of my problem?   I'm sure that there is nothing wrong with the new drives themselves and images restored on them, as readers will be installed them and available when I plug them in as external drives on my other computer.

I was able to solve my hard drive installation problems.  It turns out that there is no problem with any of these new replacement discs, I ordered (thinking I had ordered some readers with the wrong specs).  It was a simple solution to the problem.  Restored readers were not start because there is no MBR (Master Boot Record) on the disks after restoring from disk images.

I use Acronis True Image Home 2011 as my (backup) disk imaging software.  And I just did not understand how to restore properly backed up images on a new hard drive.  I had done everything right except that I had not checked the box to 'restore the MBR' - both do not understand what it was or what it means.  Once I checked this box and reimagee the new drive, it worked fine.

  • Is After Effects CS5.5 only PowerPC? (Installation problem)

I just installed Adobe Creative Suite Production Premium 5.5 on a new (2012) Mac Mini (Intel Core i7 processor) running OS X Lion mountain 10.8.2.  Most of the applications installed correctly, but After Effects CS5.5 gives me the following error when I try to launch:

Cannot open the application "Adobe After Effects CS5.5" because the PowerPC applications are no longer supported.

I tried to uninstall and reinstall the app (with Flash Catalyst, which also fails), but the error remains. What is the problem here? Is it an installation problem or After Effects CS5.5 is really not compatible with my new hardware/operating system?  Any suggestion is appreciated.

OK, answered my own question.  I was installing on a Mac Mini, which does not have an optical drive, so I used a remote optical drive to install on my network.  It turns out that confuses the installer.  I finished copying the DVD to install it on a flash drive and the installation of one.  Problem disappeared.

After a cat 5th attempt, the last of them lasting 2 hours in addition to give permission to the user I'm not further ahead. I want to install lightroom 3.4 on a win 7 64 bit

Dell computer. Installation went well until I click on the iconto launching the application. Nothing happens except that the lightroom asmall icon is placed at the bottom of the taskbar on the screen. When you place the cursor over this a small box appears above it. With the help of a powerful magnifying glassI can see that it is to buy it or use the screen of your serial number. However, the small screen is not interactive. This is where the problem begins. Any ideas. Any help at this point is more than welcome.

    Gerry,

As I already told you lightroomforums.net, your problem is caused by your window is off the screen, somewhere mostprobably. This can be caused by this last being reduced to nothing, or 'believer' Windows you have more than one screen and the window being on the second monitor.

Try a right click in the small preview that appears when you hover with the mouse over the taskbar entry, then choose "expand." Also, go to your display settings and verify that you do not have 2 active monitors.
