Installation Windows 8 operating system from hp Pavilion 15-e057se on another drive partition recovery
Hello
My computer hp laptop pavilion fell and hard drive died recently. There were two partiions hard disk. 1 has a recovery partition which came with the laptop and the remaining disk space I formatted in a drive c: for use. After the crash of the partition on the c drive is not accessible, but the recovery partition is accessible when the disc is connect via USB on another pc. I faced the 16 GB of data from the recovery partition that has Windows 8 OS and other things. I do not got any dvd with the laptop and assume that this partition is what I use to reinstall windows on a new hard drive 8. Now, I want to know that if I copy this folder on a USB data recovery, will it boot and install windows 8 in laptop computer on the new hard drive or I'll have to do a few other steps in addition to make a bootable usb key
OK, then we will force windows to find a key for you then:

Windows 7 operating system is not listed on software downloads and driver for HP G7000 notebook
IM using HP G7000 notebook and my OS is vista. I want to install the windows operating system 7, but it is not listed on downlaods software & driver. is it compatible to use the driver from vista to windows7?
Hello
Yes you can.
If you can connect to the internet first, launch the program from Windows Update in your programs menu. It will download and install the latest drivers for most of your hardware components.
For anything else, you need, you can use the Vista drivers found on your laptop support page.
You can also read this helpful upgrade guide if you wish.

Can I create the installation media for Windows 8 operating system Windows 8?
I encountered some problems with the installation of the Windows 8 client that I expect to be too long to attempt to repair. I suggested to the client that the operating system will simply be reinstalled. The customer has no recovery media. I have not found any recovery partition. I found the instructions at http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/upgrade-product-key-only to create the installation media, but it takes that I create the media from the computer on which I wish to install Windows 8. This computer came with Windows preloaded 8 factory.
So I can use this computer to create the installation media, and then reformat the hard drive and reinstall windows 8?
There is no method to create the installation media (the original installation media does not exist). The computer maker several times will include a program to help create your own recovery media, but which varies from one company to the other. You could contact them to ask if you don't see the program, or they can also send you a copy (Dell sent me a free CD by fed - ex overnight when I asked for one for a Dell Latitude Laptop - laptop I has not yet bought them even!)

I have a hp type copier printer scanner hp 1355. I need a driver (software) for this. If the HP all-in-one device is not suitable for use on WINDOWS XP, is it possible to use hp 1355 in the WINDOWS XP operating system? Thanks FOR YOUR HELP.
Hey Fed-Up-with-HP,
Try using the brush included in the CD or download. Let me know what you find?
Of the Original installation CD:
1. Insert the CD in the drive and then cancel Setup
2. open my computer and click right then on the CD from the drive and select open
3 open the Util folder
4 open the CCC folder
5. run the uninstall_L4 (exe or Bat)
6. once the uninstall is complete, restart the computer
7 run the Accessories\ System Tools Disk Cleanup
8. download and install the latest version of Adobe flash player
http://www.Adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html
9 download drivers and full software features
10. run the download to reinstall the printer
If the software has been downloaded and extracted to your system:
1. type % temp % in the field of race
2. Locate and open the folder starting with 7z (example: 7zS2356)
3 open the Util folder
4 open the CCC folder
5. run the uninstall_L4 (exe or Bat)
6. once the uninstall is complete, restart the computer
7 run the Accessories\ System Tools Disk Cleanup
8. download and install the latest version of Adobe flash player
http://www.Adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html
9 download drivers and full software features
10. run the download to reinstall the printer

I was dual-boot my computer with Windows Vista on it with Fedora 12 via a live dvd that I got installed. I kept only Vista because there are several programs that I use and are not able to be run on Fedora 12 no matter what I do (including the use of wine). Unfortunately, when I tried to start the operating system from Vista instead of Fedora earlier this morning, he told me start Grub pilot was missing and so Vista could not start.I know that during the installation of Fedora I has not damaged partitions for Vista, simply using the unused space on my hard drive. Is it possible that I can restore Vista for a capacity of work without having to uninstall Vista and reinstall? Some of my programs will have to be bought out if I do this, because of the way the company has implemented.I tried using the Startup Repair feature and my repair disc, but I can't for some reason any. My computer was giving me a lot of trouble with Windows, even though is it's original OS.
Hi Alice,.
Linux boot partitions could have been corrupted. Therefore, you have to communicate with Linux to rebuild the Grub.

I bought a laptop broken at a friend's House. It is not used for the operating system windows 8 and wanted to use the Windows Vista operating system. Son of friends put in place this laptop for it, which was new when she bought in a retail store. Is there a way I can find out whether all the partitions have been deleted during the installation of Vista? I still see window 8 logo that I sign as an administrator user on this laptop.
When I log on this computer, the previous owner of the screen name is the only one that appears. I go in Control Panel, click Add another account, then I see the screen name I posted. I could use the WiFi from my PC at home that Win 7 OS.
When I started working with the laptop, I was able to bring control of the camera. Now I thought that the version that I use does not allow this operation. Be happy with any Positive help with my problems.
Thank you
Phil W.
Hello
Start > type CMD
Right click on CMD and select run as administrator
Type diskmgmt.msc
Press enter
This opens where you can view the partitions on the disk management system
Who has installed Windows Vista, your son or friend? Fact that they create a dual boot environment or reformat?
http://www.technorms.com/8438/Windows-8-create-hard-drive-partition
Multibooting requires separate partitions on the hard drive of your computer for each operating system. To create and format a partition, see create and format a hard disk partition.
To check if a dual boot system in place, start > Type msconfig
Click on the Startup tab
You see two operating systems listed? Windows 8, Windows Vista
http://www.groovypost.com/HOWTO/Microsoft/Vista/how-to-change-default-OS-for-dual-boot-system/
I think that Windows 8 has the following partitions
400 MB Partition Recovery (contains recovery information dated from before my upgrade)
- 300 MB EFI System Partition
- 350 MB Partition Recovery (contains information for recovery of my upgrade)
- 17 GB Partition Recovery
- 220 GB of Partition primary
Windows Vista has drive C and drive D
Done reformatting refers to a hard disk or partition that already has been formatted or that contains data on it. Reformatting a disk deletes all the data on the disk.

Re: Serial number down would work with the other Windows Vista operating system
First of all sorry for my English.
I have one question. My hard drive is broken with my recovery partition.
If I download windows vista and install the system with my original serial number on the laptop, this will work or should I activate it after installation.I hope it's the same number that the front is installed on my first installation.
Hello Marcin
I doubt that the serial number that is placed at the bottom of the device works with another Windows Vista operating system. But it s worth a try
You could test it I heard it's very rare cases it was possibleIn any case, if your HARD disk is damaged and it of not possible to create a recovery DVD using recovery software Toshiba disc creator, then you must contact the ASP in your country for assistance.
If the warranty is valid the HARD drive should be replaced just for free. If you need only the recovery DVDs, then you can order it here:

Hello
I want to install Windows 7 on another drive... I checked my system compatibility by Upgrade Advisor. He advised me to do a custom installation. But I want to keep Windows XP with Windows 7. Is it possible to install windows 7 without performing a new installation. This will affect XP.
Thank you
Windows Update has nothing to do with the upgrade of Windows. Please post future questions to 'modernize' a Windows XP to Win7 computer in this forum: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_install-windows_7
If you install Win7 on another drive or the boot drive, it'll still be a clean install.

Apparent compromise Windows XP operating system files
During a scan, antiviral regular which was initiated by the provider of the antiviral software, the scan did not work properly (i.e., it is still indicating that the scan is in progress, but nothing happens - no status progress which is now 50 + hours). Contact the vendor of the antiviral software, they gave me the steps to perform a disk cleanup and then a reboot of the mode without failure followed by steps to remove TEMP files. At halfway through the disk cleanup process, a pop-up window has stated that: "Windows - files required for Windows File Protection is running properly have been replaced by unrecognized versions.» To maintain system stability, Windows must restore the original versions of these files. Insert your Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3 CD now. "The Windows disks have not inserted according to the instructions, but instead, I contacted the antiviral software vendor to make sure that there is no unintended consequence. The software provider antiviral indicated that Microsoft should be contacted as there can be some files that have been compromised that stopped the disk cleanup. Windows XP (version 2005) operating system was pre-installed by the company of Toshiba laptop. Question: I should restart the disk cleanup process as described by the antiviral software provider, and if there is another popup window indicating the information as mentioned above, service pack of Windows XP CD should be inserted? Note: I was told Toshiba CD provided by them for the laptop contains the Windows XP operating system software. The two provided Toshiba CD entitled, "Recovery and Applications/drivers DVD Satellite A100/A105 Series." Question: Are there possible negative conseguences because the provided CD/DVDs have possible applications and drivers on them? Thank you.
