  I'm unable to install Adobe Illustrator CS2 on my mac (OX Yosemite 10.10.3) because it gives the error "The Installation HFS disk no is not supported." However, the drive that I installed is HFS + and should be able to withstand that. In disk utility, I confirmed that the format is Mac OS extended (journaled), what is HFS +. I also ran check disk and disk utility repair disk, but both showed that the volume seems to be OK and I still couldn't install Illustrator.

  In the end, I moved my laptop somewhere else where I could access the internet through an unmanaged network, and I could download and install illustrator very well.

  What version of Illustrator? If it's CC, then you need Adobe Application Manager, also called creative cloud. All of the CC downloads arrive via this application.

  Illustrator takes a long time to save, if I save a pdf or have a file. I use CS6 and the problem started shortly after installation. Even relatively small files take about 15 minutes to save, Illustrator jumps off unresponsive immediately after I clicked Save. The program does not show any other sign of trouble, everything else works fairly quickly.

  I read about disabling the option of file compatible pdf, but it is not until the message appears where I can uncheck the option. So I changed the file preferences, where I turned it off, but without success.

  I'm working on a Lenovo Z51 - 70, windows 10, 8 GB of RAM, 250 GB SSD 80 GB which is available.

  I had no problem with access to attachments to my e-mails, but a problem occurred just.

  I can longer open attached pdf files.  I am able to preview the files, but they are too small for me to read.  When I click to open all the I get now is a kind of icon (in Microsoft Office Picture Manager) with which I can't do anything.

  It seems I should have arranged for Picture Manager automatically opens attachments to emails, but when this happens, I'm stuck as what I try, I can't do pdf files appear as they did.

  The help file does not really help.

  I hope it is something simple, even an old fool like me can do with your expert (and, I hope. friendly) help.

  Create a file association.

  1. download and save the attachment to the office.
  2. right click on the saved file.
  3. Select: Open with on the shortcut menu.
  4. click on: choose [default] program.
  5. Select: (Whatever you have installed a PDF reader).
  6. check: always use the selected program to open this type of file.
  7. click on OK.

  This should allow you to open these attachments directly from email address now.

  'Download Support Advisor' is a generic error, and we need to understand what is causing the problem. Most of the time, its a problem with the download was not successful or downloaded correctly. So, in this case, re-download the software and do not forget to compare the file size of the file downloaded with the file on the server.  From the following link, please download the version of Illustrator, you need: other downloads
