Installing Oracle retail point of service

Hi guys;
I will implement in the laboratory service oracle retail point them, my server runs on the use of the virtual machine sun Oracle enterprise linux 5.2, sun jdk 1.5, derby apache 1.2.2, and oracle database 10g release 2. my client runs on windows xp, sun jdk 1.5, derby apache 1.2.2. I created the database schema owner and a user data source; in my installation, I chose N-guard-store server for the server and the Client, N-guard. for the client, the installation went fine without error. server-side I lance./dbbuild.sh seed_data, the objects have been created in the database, I am connected via isqlplus with details of schema owner to check. My goal is to launch the application client side, whenever I run Clientconduit.bat I had the first screen with the following message: initialization failure.it gives me time on time and he also said online. I never do that before, I would be really grateful if anyone can help me get this right. just the application connection to the database, not to mention any device connected to the customer now. can someone give me the title of a book and an ISBN for Oracle Retail service point? (for now I use the oracle documentation)

Thank you.

Note: _ check JDIC. JAR, FOLDER WINDOWS is already in your \Client\360common\common\build if SO confirm if jdic is according to specific BONES.

I think you do not copied the jdic.jar, the folder windows jdic-20061102-bin - crossplatform.zip, or the jdic - xxx.zip make sure that you have selected right zip as in specific operating system, please follow the link for jdic - xxx.zip

https://JDIC.dev.Java.NET/servlets/ProjectDocumentList?folderid=6267
and select jdic-20061102-bin - crossplatform.zip

Extract the ZIP and just COPY jdic.jar, windows folder in the \Client\360common\common\build folder.

(a) reboot the server and the Client
(b) at the end of the Client console, you can find the following lines added

native lib \Client\360common\common\build\windows\x86na path
tive \Client\360common\common\build\windows\x86 lib path.

Now you can access browser, because I tried the same scenario without jdic.jar, windows record is same error produced here.

  • How to install Oracle Service Bus?

Many thanks to anyone who can help! I am a developer for 20 years and I never had so much trouble to run a Setup program.

I'm trying to install Oracle Service Bus 11 g on a Windows 7 computer. I managed to install WebLogic 10.3. Oracle Service Bus Setup wants me to enter the paths for Oracle Middleware, Oracle Home Directory, Weblogic and EPCO location server location. No matter what I go for the latter, I am told they are incorrect. For example:

House Weblogic location specified is not a valid location.

Let's focus on just the Weblogic home location. I tried every directory and the subdirectories where Weblogic has been installed. No matter which way I go, I get the above error message.

The installer by default, this path to C:\bea_default\wlserver_10.3 so I tried to copy this path. It always tells me that the location is not a valid location. How anyone ever do this work? What I am doing wrong?

  • Problem to install Oracle 11 g - impossible to establish a remote connection

    In short:

I just installed Oracle 11 g and created a data base and the headset, but I'm unable to connect remotely with a customer database.

    My environment:

Oracle 11g is installed on a VirtualBox (4.3.18) Red Hat Linux 6.5 VM.  The host operating system is Mac OS X Yosemite.  Linux VM is assigned a static ip address and the host and vm have host entries to resolve this name server:

    192.168.58.152 rhel65opdev-vm

I am able to ping rhel65opdev-vm from these two places.

    Host: 64 bytes from 192.168.58.152: icmp_seq = 0 ttl = 64 time = 0,287 ms

    VM: 64 bytes of rhel65opdev-vm (192.168.58.152): icmp_seq = 1 ttl = 64 time = 0.027 ms

I am also able to ssh into the Linux vm without problem.  If I try to telnet to the virtual machine on the port of configured database:

    = > telnet rhel65opdev-vm 1521
    192.168.58.152 by train...
Telnet: connect to address 192.168.58.152: connection refused

Telnet: unable to connect to the remote host

Login as a user other my oracle on the same VM user, can I tnsping data base successfully:

    OK (10 ms)

The same user non-oracle, I am able to do appear SQLDeveloper and establish a connection with the database and check its schema.  But on the Mac, I am unable to use (the Mac version of) SQLDeveloper to do the same.  I get an error: IO error: the network adapter could not establish the connection.  Code 17002 provider.

I have another Red Hat 6.5 virtual VM from where I'm modeling this new machine, which has the same version of Oracle on it, installed and working (which I myself installed without problem, but a long time ago).  I am able to connect remotely to this base since my Mac using Toad and SQLDeveloper without problem and I can telnet to port of database and there is no problem.

I point out that I recently removed from the database and reinstalled.  I have created only one service: OP, but the OPXDB see below seems to be a previous installation, which can contribute to my question - not sure.

  • No audio signal from the forced update. Can not restart Windows Point of service endpoint

I now have 3 unnecessary Windows computers and 2 printers useless because the new drivers do not work.

Computer 1 forced to W10 and I can take it is no longer online or the display driver is updated and I have a black screen.

Computer 2: I tried to reinstall W7pro after having lost my sound and which failed, the Microsoft Chat online tech managed to wipe my hard drive clean without even telling me why. I was told to buy a new computer or new version of W7.

Computer 3, I was able to continue to use W7pro, but the latest pushy killed my sound also and restoration it was not fixed. When I try to restart the Windows Sound service, I get a msg that I lost my privilege to SMA to restart Windows Point of service endpoint. I downloaded the Realtec again an audio driver package cannot be installed at all because of signature problems, one installed apparently, but drivers are not allowed to work my sound card and always the sound W service cannot start.

I put a ridiculous amount of unpaid time and research between that and I am surprised that Microsoft is getting away with our access to our jobs the deactivation of this way.

    Can someone help me, please?

Please check if there are graphics cards available in the Device Manager.

If the device driver is present, try to uninstall and reinstall. If If doesn't work, try updating the drivers.

You can get in touch with your PC manufacturer for assistance.

  • Kodak Hero 9.1 and installed, to the point where the pilots are downloading, I get the error "operation not complΘtΘ 0x00003eb.

I come from Kodak Hero 9.1 bought and installed, to the point where the pilots are downloading, I get the error "operation not complΘtΘ 0x00003eb" Kodak say it of to do with Windows, but how to get assistance, an idea (which seems to have started since my last automatic download for service pack 1, maybe irrelevant)

    Hello

    Thanks for asking!

When you try to install the driver for Kodak Hero 9.1 you receive 0x00003eb. error code

To help you better, we need more information.

When you click on the dialog box, you receive information about the error?

To work with the issue, I suggest you follow these steps:

    Method 1: Clean boot

When the computer starts to boot, programs non-Microsoft will not be started and would avoid any interruption of their share.

    See the mentioned site:

How to perform a clean boot for a problem in Windows Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

Note: once you are done with the boot, follow step 3 of section to set your computer to normal startup.

Note: If in case, you are connected via a connection wireless, and then when you start the System Configuration utility to perform the clean boot, click Startup and Services tab one time and check wireless see corresponding section are checked (enabled).

Method 2: File system (CFS) Scan Checker

SFC scan will find all missing or incorrect system files and repairs them.

How to use the System File Checker tool to fix the system files missing or corrupted on Windows Vista or Windows 7

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929833

I hope this helps. If the problem persists, or if you have problems of Windows in the future, let us know and we would be happy to help you.

  • install Oracle 12 c and migrate data from 9i to 12 c on Solaris

HI: this is a primary control to check IAM step by step.  I need to migrate the server Oracle 9i (Solaris) to 12 c (Solaris) to the customer request. I have the instruction of installation YES from the team, the draft plan is:

    1. install Oracle 12 c binary on Solaris Server

    2 exp/imp, method to move data to 12 c 9i.

Should I create a database "empty" by script until I use the exp/imp method to migrate data from 9i?  Or, is it better to use the option 'create the single database instance' in YES during the installation of 12 c, then exp/imp?  How about the "plug-in database" or the "CBD/PDB' concept to 12 c?  It's still new and I am not master familiar with it, that I have to use all "CBD/PDB' 12 c or not?

Any problem that I need to know?

    Thank you very much!

You have your point of disagreement, but it is the best approach of guys Upgrade Oracle, google for Mike Dietrich blogs on updates. And your concern that make upgrades does not allow you to practice, well, you could easily make a few tests on my upgrade on a test environment, I really don't agree with your point here...

Sorry - but I agree with the ground.

Anyone who still uses 9i has some questions SERIOUS architecture dealing with totally outside the DB and data. There is just too much features auxiliary available (e.g., ASM, GRID, EM) which did NOT exist in 9i or substantially changed.

It is also a non-starter, IMHO, not to recommend as an upgrade to 11g without even knowing the 9i version that uses OP. A direct upgrade to 11g is NOT possible since the first versions of 9i. So if such a version uses OP they couldn't make a direct upgrade anyway. They will need first to upgrade to the last version 9i and then level it to 11g. Then, they should adapt to 12 c.

Then you must take account of the need for BACKUP:

    1. PRIOR to starting to do something

    2. AFTER the upgrade to 9.2.04

    3. AFTER the upgrade to 11 g

    4. AFTER the upgrade to 12 c

Compare that to the approach of that ground is recommended to use export/import. There is NO need to save the source DB at all since the process will NOT change. Simply a backup after upgrading to 12 c.

    Steps to follow:

    1. install JDK - success

    2. installation of WebLogic Server 10.3.6 (64-bit) and created a new home of Middleware. -Success

    3. ensure that all prerequisites are met by a prior information of Oracle: http://docs.oracle.com/html/E25460_01/r2_fr_requirements.htm

    4. start the installer of Forms

    a. choose 'install only - do not configure ".

    b. all the prerequisite checks passed

Errors: Installation product until it reaches approximately 92% when we get the first error:

"Error in invoking target 'nnfgt.o' of makefile '$ORACLE_HOME/network/lib/ins_net_client.mk'. See "$ORA_INVENTORY/logs/installDATE.log" for more details".

If we click on 'Continue' to work around the error, we get another error after that:

Someone has met these errors before installing 11 GR 2 forms (11.1.2.2.0) on Solaris 10 SPARC 64-bit?

    Thank you

    Scott

We have solved the problem. The library of expr has not found in/usr/xpg4/bin but in another location. After you create a symbolic link in/usr/xpg4/bin pointing to where it has been deployed, the installation is completed successfully (after removing the previous attempt failed).

A test you can do to make sure that expr is working correctly is to run expr 1 + 1 in the shell. If the command works, the library can be found.

Matthew, I thank you for your suggestions as well.

    Thank you

  • Install Oracle 11g R2 on RHEL 6

    Hello

I'm trying to install Oracle 11 g R2 on RHEL6 using VM Ware workstation. I went through all the controls preinstallion and now want to create directories to hold the oracle software.

My UNIX box has only one primary partition which is the root partition (/).

Now the Oracle documentation on installing LInux say the following commands must be executed.

    # Pei mkdir /mount_point/app/

    # chown r oracle: oinstall /mount_point/app/

    # chmod 775 r /mount_point/app/

    For example:

    # mkdir -p /u01/app/
    # chown -R oracle:oinstall /u01/app/
    # chmod -R 775 /u01/app/

I want to know is the following, which one should I get about this

    (a) create a new partition, make a new file system and then mount it on the directory/U01

    or

    (b) create a/U01 directory in the root (/) directory using mkdir and just go ahead with the installation without any additional partition or file system.

    Thank you.

    Hello

as you use this machine in a virtual machine, you can simply create the folder with mkdir. The need for the mounting points on the various devices becomes relevant for productive environments due to performance reasons.

I try to install Oracle JDeveloper 12 c on Windows 7, but I get the error 'Property CMD' not found in autorun.inf, when I run the file directly.

    CMD property not found.PNG

If I run Oracle installer (as an administrator), I get the file "corrupted", but I think it is misleading.

    JDeveloper corrupt file.PNG

Google search, this seems to always point to that here where it says

    CMD property not found solution.PNG

Previously, I had a compatibility issue when installing Oracle Developer (forms, Designer, reports and JDeveloper10g), I corrected as saying that must be run on Windows XP SP2, and that did the trick. But I don't see anything about compatibility via the google search for this problem.

When the exe file is run some tests pre - req gets run as 64-bit JVM and Swap space. The other machine may not have the pre - req.

  • Install Oracle R12.1.1 with database R11.2

    Dear Experts,

When you install Oracle R12.1.1, the database version shipped with it is 11.1.0.7, is if there is a way to install Oracle R12.1.1 with DB R11.2 directly without needing to upgrade DB of 11.1 to 11.2 after installation?

    Kind regards

    Ahmad,

    Hi, Ahmed.

You must manually set the following:

The ORACLE_BASE environment variable must be set accordingly.

The ORACLE_HOME environment variable points to the new 11.2.0 Oracle home.

The PATH environment variable includes $ORACLE_HOME/bin and the directory where the new perl executable is located (usually $ORACLE_HOME/perl/bin).

The LD_LIBRARY_PATH environment variable includes $ORACLE_HOME/lib.

The $perl5lib environment variable points to the directory where the new perl libraries (usually $ORACLE_HOME/perl/lib / [perl version] and $ORACLE_HOME/perl/lib/site_perl / [perl version])

So, here's what you need to do:

    -Open a new terminal

    -Env variables set as follows:

    $ export ORACLE_BASE =

    $ export ORACLE_HOME =

    $ export PATH = $ORACLE_HOME/bin: $PATH

    $ export LD_LIBRARY_PATH = $ORACLE_HOME/lib

    $ export $perl5lib =

Once you set the env variables, issue "env | ranking"to check.

And, "what sqlplus" should be referred to the $11.2.0.4 ORACLE_HOME/bin/sqlplus

    Thank you

    Hussein

    https://support.Oracle.com/CSP/main/article?cmd=show & type = ATT & ID = 1118681.1:PD11G_INSTALL_PT4 & inline = 1

The verbal and demo explanation does not use the original location/Oracle HOme of the previously
installed for the binary PFRD base.   It probably should.

In addition, for some steps to follow to patch binaries PFRD, I'd put it:

Step 4.  I am guessing that the patch will establish an another sub dir Disk1 and don't want to overwright
installation of the initial PFRD, therefore, moves the Group of hotfixes as follows.

    CD/opt/web/install/PortalUpgradeAdvisor/pfrd
    960 ls - ltr
    Group of hotfixes mkdir 961
    Group patches 962 mv p11060983_111140_LINUX.zip
    Group patches 963 cd.
    Unzip 964 *.

RE: of course, having unpacked the group created patches another subdirectory Disk1 with his own runInstaller
    VNC gui:

I guess, all we are doing is patching of binary files, nothing should be running.
Maybe an environment set in same, as when we ran last the PFRD install, however.  There we / I had
run. / set_mid_clean after making sure the files property was oracle: oracle.

    Yes, VNC gui and
    / opt/Web/Install/PortalUpgradeAdvisor/pfrd/Patchset/disk1
    . / runInstaller

Here again, we select Install Software - is not configured
RE: Get the message again on this screen "installs the software only. After said is finished, use
config.sh at ORACLE bin directory to configure the working bodies of these components installed.

Specify the installation location.  Always to
    Oracle Middleware homepage: / opt/oracle/Middleware
    and
An Oracle home directory: as_2 # I bet it must be as_1 because that is where the initial PFRD install binary files has occurred.

NOTE: The summary of the Installation in the video screen escape the Oracle Home is the previous specified during the initial installation. That is to say. PFRD_Binaries.   I guess I should have named that instead of taking the default as_1. At least I would have to have done that.  Well.  Maybe this story might help the next guy.

    Also

NOTE: The Installation screen is not "from" group of patches as in the video where it says
Install Oracle Portal, forms, reports, and discover the Group of hotfixes.

    Hi Charlie
I'm a little confused by this feedback. Especially when you say that you see the option "install - do not configure. Should this option is visible only when you run the Basic 11.1.1.2 PFRD the software installer. The Group of hotfixes 11.1.1.4 has his own 'runInstaller'... and this will display what you see in the viewlet. You definitely run the installer from the directory of stage in the Group of hotfixes? (I'll do my own validation test - if I find something strange going on... I'll report.)

I now take the following action

    1. I will put the Viewlet so it is clear that the Group of hotfixes is staged in a different place from the base 11.1.1.2 media
    2. provide that nothing must be running (because at this point, no instance of 11 g of construction has been configured)
    3. There's a "slippage" that illustrates the Middleware and Oracle Home entries in the screen "Location of Installation to specify" IE

    Middleware homepage: / u01/alca_portal/middleware
    Oracle home: PFRD_Binaries

However, you will see that this slide for 2 seconds (which is an error) and if you miss it probably.

Just FYI - the House of Oracle 11 g correction is in general the same procedure as patching a mid-layer House AS10g i.e

-You set the Oracle Home base using the installation of the basic software program
-You patch the Oracle home using the installation program of the Group of hotfixes

instead of step 3 [install but do not configure Oracle Identity Management] starting from
'Build base Middleware of Oracle 11g Architecture'.
Maybe suggest to change the documentation in MOS Advisor upgrade,
to remove step 3 until after the upgrade the binaries and install patches 11g group.
Or change this 3/4 part to talk to install IDM.

Specify the Application FOR page/section: you must specify OID information for installation of the portal.
If you do not wish to integrate oracle descoverer services and do not want single sign - on, uncheck the box.
RE: NOTICE: verbal instructions on this boy, are confused.    Instructions on where to get information from the OID would be useful
here. in addition, the instructions show that if you have specified use of discoverer, a check box is displayed and check
That's if you want to use the SSO on.   A blurb on what if you did NOT specify discoverer would be appropriate here.
Or something about this discoverer is and if it comes by default with the installation.

First, as discussed in another thread, I plan to reformulate the wording of this step... so thanks again for your comments.

Note on this question / comment

"To understand at the time where we upgrade repository portal.  In my opinion, who runs the configuration wizard PFRD is that fact for us.  I will go through the video.    And me who runs the IDM upgrades OID configuration wizard. »

PFRD Configuration Wizard does not upgrades the repository of the portal, it creates just a portal 11g AS Instance against the repository Portal 10g's existing. The Upgrade Wizard upgrades site two-step

1 put Update Wizard (option "upgrade intermediate level Instance") upgrades 11 g base instance configuration so that it matches the source portal AS10g instance configuration

2 Upgrade Wizard (option "Upgrade the repository in metadata schemas") upgrades the repository Portal 10 g.

It's a similar story for instant messaging, only the IM Upgrade Wizard upgrades the configuration file system and the GI database schemas in a go (IE there is no upgrade wizard option separated to "Upgrade the repository in metadata schemas")

I think that the Viewlet created the PFRD and IDM Upgrade Guides whether clear.
