  I just set up my new blue ray Sony player and recorded through the camera, I went the network button in the xross media bar and scroll to activate enhanced features and the registration code shows that the device has been registered. When I go to Amazon Instant Video it indicates there is a network error and I don't know what to do about this. My Netflix works great. I need help please.

  We checked that Amazon Instant Video currently gives us the same error and have forwarded it to our engineers.

• BDP-S570 has problems with Amazon Instant Video

  Hi, I have a Blu - Ray of S570 player.  I have cable internet to ~ 30 MB/s download speed and it is the only device on the network.  For the last month, I had problems with streaming movies.  I rented 2 movies from Amazon Instant Video and would freeze and require buffering several times to the places where UN watchable videos.  Another time I tried to watch a video of "TMZ" and he would not play and kept out me.

  I am able to watch a video on my computer without any problem and one I run a speed test on my network when the buffering occurs and it says 30 MB/Sec.

  Any suggestions?

  Just FYI - cat'd with Amazon.  They said to de-register with Amazon and re - register again...  She was very confident, that might solve my problem so she must know something... but I do not know for sure until I have try again tonight...

• OTP-S390 - issues with Amazon instant video bonus?

  For 2 weeks now, I think that after the update to the newest firmware, I have massive problems play via the video player Sony Bluray with Amazon premium instant stuff.

  I did some troubleshooting and I came to the conclusion that it is either the cable going to the focus in my cable modem or the drive itself.

  I can read the same videos very well without any problems on my computer on the same internet connection which provides the connectivity of Bluray player.

  The real problem is I'll watch a show, in this case, Fringe season 2 in HD - and it stops just at random play. I can stop and start from where I left and it will either work or it won't. But I can go right to my PC and launch an episode and watch it completely thorugh without problem.

  It's going to be a fix for this anytime soon? Is anyone else having problems?

  Make sure that this latest firmware update has been installed in the Blu - ray player, because it can improve the performance of the Internet functions. You can find information about the last update of firmware in the Sub page:

  In addition, this problem has been reported to occur with certain movies from Amazon Video on demand (VOD) that are more than 202 minutes in length. Movies stop playback after 202 minutes. According to Amazon, the problem is caused by the way that video content is encoded. Amazon is being contained affected re-encoding.

  If the problem persists, try to remove the link and reprint of the Amazon of the Blu - ray player links. Steps are mentioned on the technical support article below:

  I try to get video instant amazon working on this new TV. I get to the stage where I enter a 5 digit code for regster unit. The code is supposed to access them from the video device instant Amazon App in the TV. When I click on it I get ' isn't available now - come back later. "

  Workaround solutions?

  You can have the same problem I have (my post is below).  In order to work with Amazon, your device must be on their list of compatible devices.  You can go to the site from Amazon and the list.  My 2014 Sony TV model is not yet on the list, so I got the same error message.  I could never get a clear answer from someone (at Sony or Amazon), but I think they were suggesting that Amazon or Sony get for new TVs 2014 sometime in the coming months.   I asked Sony and Amazon to warn when my device becomes compatible, so I did not check every day, but, nobody responded to this request.

  I was watching Amazon videos on my mac with no problems, then last night, something happened and I download something Adobe which I didn't and thought I had deleted. Today my home screen returns with yahoo that I don't want, but especially, I can't watch the video amazon that I paid. He asks me to install silverlight and when I do it wont but told me I have to install silverlight. I went with amazon and followed the instructions, also uninstalled one I tried again, but no luck.

  Silverlight is enabled in Safari > Preferences > allow Internet Plugin and in the configuration of the Plugin?

  I had gotten an update error message, but I was able to update. It does not on the Surface Pro.

  BIG PROBLEM from my point of view that I use my Amazon Prime for television and movies, I want to watch. If I can't watch them then main reasons for buying the Surface Pro are gone. It should have tracked down comments until I found that the Surface has this BIG PROBLEM of COMPATIBILITY. Bought the Pro a mistake? I'm warning others. This isn't my first problem compatibility- but resolved to others later.

  Is there a way around this problem? There seems to be some answers on the forum, but they use terms I do not understand and do not give the steps to watch with the method that some people seem to think will work. The instructions don't make sense to me. I'm usually able to find a way to do something on my computers, but apparently not good enough for this frustrating problem!

  I had the same problem with my laptop / tablet. It took two nights for 2 hours every night to go to someone who knew the answer. The answer is that Silverlight is no longer stable and the origin of the problem. There is another extension that works better and once I installed everything worked fine. I don't remember what it was, it could have been Adobe Flash Player.

• OTP-S1100 does not connect to internet video service.

  Friday night, I noticed that I couldn't connect to Amazon Instant Video.  I couldn't connect to other video services as well.  I checked the system settings and I saw that the connection to the server of commissioning was not.  I did some more research and tried to place the servers DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4.  This change has enabled to connect successfully to the server configuration.  However, I still could not connect to the internet video service.  I would get either the message 'check' internet connection or would get not past the first stage of the three-stage login procedure.  I tried to reset the machine and initialize customizers.  Now all I'm left with is the option to refresh the internet video services which I can't because of the unit is not able to establish a connection.  I also tried to unplug the machine for about a half hour or more and then reconnect, and it did not help.  My firmware is updated also.  I even checked my router settings and enabled the respond to pings from the internet, because it seemed to help another user, but it did not help in my situation.  I have the Sony Essentials and Playstation Network accounts.  I can't connect to the PSN account because I can't access the 'account link' option on the BDP, and I can't try to separate fact and restoring links in the Essentials because account I did not either of his choice.  All other internet devices in my house are able to connect to the internet.  I can even not Amazon Instant Video on my PS3.  Any ideas?  Is there anything, I'm missing or haven't tried?  Any help would be greatly appreciated!  Thank you!

  I discovered that the device worked fine when connected to the modem directly, so I moved the combo modem/router to the location of the drive and changed over my home network so that all devices could connect and work.  Things seem to be working at the moment and hope they stay like that great!

  What version is your Apple TV? If ATV 4, what software?

  Have you checked the settings of airtime on your ATV?

  You have made no changes to your network: router, WiFi Repeater, etc.. ?

  Try power cycling of the ATV. Unplug it for 30 seconds, then plug back in.

  I have a Sony Bravia KDL - 52EX700 U2. All the icons of internet video, music and photo (Amazon instant video, Crackle, Pandora, Photobucket, etc.) are missing.
