  In my opinion you should swap with the same motherboard. After doing this, you can be sure that you use original BONES you have with your machine.

  The WLan device driver can be reinstalled in the Device Manager.
  I mean you can mark the unknown device (marked with yellow exclamation point) and that you use the update driver option for new installation.

  Then you can use the Advanced installation (second option) to point to the Wlan driver files that you have downloaded and stored on the HARD drive.

  In most cases, this driver installation works.

  Your router must support the project in order to connect to the laptop using Draft N.
  In your Wlan Draft N router settings must be enabled.

  In-WLan card-> properties > Device Manager, you can find the Advanced tab.

  No, because the HARD disk should be formatted during the recovery process.

  On the D partition, you can find the files and folder from HARD drive recovery. HARD disk recovery allows you to recover the laptop HARD drive and in this case, you don't need the recovery disc

  I m not very well what WLan card you but you are trying to install the WiFi adapter driver on the WLan card manufacturer site.

  Finally, and especially if you lose the WLan IP address and then start the CMD (in the window RUN) and type this command:
  ipconfig / renew

  I recently got a Satellite L300 with a basic family OEM of Vista Edition version.
  I have a copy of Windows Vista: drive home edition Premium (upgrade) and decided to use it on the laptop.

  I put the disc in and followed the steps but the upgrade option is removed... It is if I use the product key provided with the disc or not.
  The laptop comes with Service Pack 1 is already installed and the drive I have is released in stores before Service Pack 1.

  My main question is really how can I get my drive to upgrade my version of Vista. I tried the Google search, this Web site, Microsoft Web site and I get the same answer.

  Basically, go into options and upgrade Express. They're all for me to buy from Microsoft that would be kinda useless as I already have a copy.
  I read something to a site that said my drive would have to have service pack disk and I've seen a site with some sort of disk editing program for Vista but I am not too keen to use it and the 'how' was not very easy to understand.

  Also, I am not too keen on appellant Toshiba or Microsoft on surcharge numbers to get something, I already bought and paid for and should be as simple as a few steps.

  Anyway hope someone can help as I really want to upgrade.

I understand your point of view but, in my opinion, has nothing to do with Toshiba now, and you should try to find the solution with Microsoft.   Clean Vista Home Premium can be installed without any problem. All the drivers, tools, and utilities are downloadable on Toshiba support & download page.
