Instead of storing data on an NFC Tag Evernote is started

I wrote an application that stores data on the NFC tags. That worked very well until I installed Evernote. Instead of display the NFC sharing dialog box now Evernote is started. When I remove Evernote everything works fine. I think I had already Evernote installed before updating the OS 10.2.1 and at that time there NFC sharing worked. But I'm not really sure about this.

That's what I do:

const char * Settings::NfcNdefCustomDomain = "ts.klaus.de";
const char * Settings::NfcNdefCustomType = "1";

InvokeManager invokeManager;

Application of InvokeRequest;
request.setAction ("bb.action.SHARE");

request.setMimeType("application/vnd.rim.nfc.ndef");

QVariant domain (Settings::NfcNdefCustomDomain);
QVariant type (Settings::NfcNdefCustomType);
QString message ( );

Happy QVariant (message);

_ndefFactory = NdefFactory::getInstance();

QByteArray data (_ndefFactory-> getNdefCustomMessage (domain, content type));
request.setData (data);
invokeManager.invoke (request);

EverNote saves for sharing of the NFC?

Any idea?

Problem solved by adding:

request.setTarget ("sys. NFCViewer");

See https://developer.blackberry.com/native/documentation/cascades/device_platform/invocation/nfc.html for more details.

BTW: The sample App NFCToolLite has a similar problem. At least is it a dialog box that is displayed when you choose between NFC, Skype or Evernote. I have no idea why Skype or Evernote are trying to get applications for Division of the NFC.

    You have a beautiful mess!  (Sorry, but you do) Your little logic code.

    First of all, if you want to save data to a file aDAQmx TDMS task do it! Enable logging of data it will greatly simplify your diagram to the point where some of the other problems become more obvious.

    Now, let us look at this section:

    In the present, I can that you used to be a programmer of text.  These subsets 'replace Array' actually boggle my mind! Why replace the first element of the tables full of zeros? and why is it a picture of 5,000 items?   Looks like you put 5000 zeros on the front and back of the noise AND stuffing a 0.99 in the first element of an array of 5000 zeros only to replace the range of a 0.99 and 4999 zeros with a table of 5000 zeros TWICE! (in case the first subset of the table replace did not work? WWYT?) But save a little... A high pass filter with fh = 11000 and fl = 8000?

    Save the help file, we find:

    Then, this constant 110000 doing here? (Other than ignored)

    Save a little and you father a production 1.25 M points of noise Gaussian with a gap of 0.1, but the constant is labled rms.  (Go fix it now before you confuse us no more!)

    In all sincerity. I've seen worse but please correct obviously I did notice and we could be much more effective to help with the subtle substance which can always be wrong.

  • Modification date instead of the date of Capture in grid mode

    I noticed that in Grid mode (expanded cell information) Lightroom see the change date instead of the date of Capture. How can I fix this?

    Sigh, metadata of image are such a mess, with different programs and operating systems using similar labels for different areas. I suspect what is happening with your images is that some of them didn't have not a metadata field "capture date".  If you download one of the suspicious images on Dropbox and post the link here, I can verify this.  (This is probably the most effective way to solve your problem, rather than a long exchange of posts.)  Also, note that the Date change is not as known as the Date of Capture.

    Gory details:

    The EXIF: DateTime of metadata fields (Exiftool called EXIF:ModifyDate) and XMP:ModifyDate are shown in LR in the metadata > Panel EXIF as "Date Time".  It is a metadata field defined as LR image manipulation programs whenever they change the image or its metadata.   This metadata field is not the same as the last modification date/time indicated by Mac Finder or Windows File Explorer - who is a field maintained for all files automatically by the operating system.

    The time, that the image was captured by a digital camera stores, EXIF:DateTimeOriginal and XMP:DateCreated. These fields are displayed in the form of 'Capture time' in the LR metadata > by default, and as a 'DateTime Original' Panel in the metadata > EXIF.

    When an image is missing EXIF:DateTimeOriginal / XMP:DateCreated, then for its 'Date of Capture' inside, LR 5.6 uses EXIF:DateTime / XMP:ModifyDate (if present), otherwise it uses the date of last modification of the file system.  (Versions prior to 5.6 had a different behavior, buggy).

  • NFC tags low level read/write operations

    Hello

    I know it's little bit offtopic question - but since you are experts in the field I will try you may ask a simple question:

    1 / I want to know what protocol is used to read/write for the NFC operations, tags are used. According to my understanding after that the label is placed on the NFC (NFC, USB drive phone) reader, it is powered and set to the ready state. The application protocol for read-write operation is used. As I think that the format and content of the commands used to read/write is not specified in the ISO 14443 and it is based on a material/manufacturer and will be different for FeliCa, Mifare, Innovision, etc tags, so there is no way how to handle read/write NFC tags with unique implementation operations. This hypothesis is correct?

    2 / are there tags, that supports the 4 7816 APDU commands for read/write operations?

    Thanks for the reply
    Kind regards
    STeN

    Hello

    To read the NFC forum specifications. It will be better explained than by me.

    several protocols are used according to the contactless front-end configuration and capabilities. It includes ISO14443-A, ISO14443-B and Felica. Sometimes the other protocols are also available, for example Innovatron (not Innovision lol)

    Mifare is not a Protocol, it is a line of NXP products. These products use the lower layers of the ISO14443-A protocol specification.

    There are 4 types of tags

    (1) using the lower layers of the ISO14443-A
    (2) using the lower layers of the ISO14443-B
    (3) something related to felica?
    don't know exactly on these 3, you should read the specs. Everything is clearly understandable, not like ETSI.

    (4) something using commands ISO7816-4 on top A ISO14443 or B or others. You must SELECT, BINARY, BINARY update READ. You can implement using javacard, I did it and it works. You need two binary files, which can be hard-coded.

    How can I restore my system XP to factory settings with on a boot disk? System Restore won't let me back to a date. I need to clean and start over with on a XP boot disk.

    You will need to go on the manufacturer of your pc and then ask for a windows xp disk and drivers. This will give you a new copy, but not out of the box state. For an out of the box, get a recovery disk. Just answer what you want.

  • [Issue] How data is transferred when you use BlackBerry (NFC) Tag? WiFi Direct? Bluetooth 2.1? Bluetooth 3.0?

    Hello

    I saw a bunch of videos of demonstration of tag BlackBerry of all the cool things you can do with the NFC, but it wondered, what happens if all my other antenas wireless, WiFi and Bluetooth, are out of?

    NFC can be used to transfer data, but it is not good for large quantities. I looked a little further and I found this cool video showing the difference to use Bluetooth 2.1, Bluetooth 3.0 high speed and Wifi Direct to transfer large files, such as videos. BB10 already does support Wifi Direct? Bluetooth 3.0 high speed?

    I hope that BB10 supports ALL the performance and maximum compatibility.

    I don't know where to post this question so here's. Please move was a better place. I think that the community needs a session of general development for wider issues.

    See you soon!

    Hello

    Tag BlackBerry, and the APIs available for developers will automatically perform the best way to transfer the data. NFC supports something called "connect transfer" and are the largest payloads or certain types of data (photos, for example) rather than by peer-to-peer NFC, NFC mode data transfer is just used to negotiate alternative transport. In the case of the BlackBerry smart phones, this alternative will be bluetooth.

    For users of touch devices, there is a brief 'conversation' between the devices on the NFC and this translates into a bluetooth connection set up and data transfer initiated through the bluetooth connection faster. This is all without the usual matching process. After reaching the stage of bluetooth devices need closer will be of course.

    The same principle applies to both 7 BlackBerry and BlackBerry 10. In fact talk us a bit about this in our latest article on BlackBerry 10 NFC API:

    http://supportforums.BlackBerry.com/T5/native-development/BlackBerry-10-sharing-using-NfcShareManage...

    I hope this helps.

  • load stored data / gaugeField

    I have problems without end trying to store/retrieve my data... regardless of the format, in that I try, it seems to hang my bb for several seconds regardless of what I do when loading or storage.  currently I have a structure of the object that allows me to export everything to delimited strings that I put into a vector, I then store this vector. When I insert the vector, I just go through it and parse each string to recreate the data structure.  However, even with store the vector (instead of the things I did before), it still blocks the app.

    in any case, now, I'm trying to get a gaugefield to work to view the progress of the load - initialized to the size of the vector, incrememented I go through the loop through vector.  Start-up of my application, manufacturer (required) loadVector... the only way for me to get the screen to view and then lock up was to use UiApplication.getUiApplication () .invokeLater (). to that I get the persistent vector, initialize the gaugefield and browse the vector to analyze strings to my objects.  but my gaugefield never load so it never updates.  When I try to move things around so somethings are before the invokelater thread, sometimes I can get the gaugefield to show, but it does not update.

    Any IDE? or am I just completely go at this the wrong way?

    Of course, the biggest problem is that none of this seems to be testable on the Simulator, as loading/backup is almost instantaneous. How could someone test something like that? IM thinking a sleep (xxx) in the for loop would contribute to simulate the amount of time it takes a real device to save?

    Thanks for your suggestions...

    OK so much for most of it... I had to put my call to initialize gaugefield in a uiapp.invokelater to initialize and add it to the status bar, then use an ordinary phone to browse the vector and update the value of gaugefield. works so far (on the SIM anyway)

  • How do I permanantly prevent a site from storing data offline

    Hello
    I noticed that I have never visited a Web site (until I noticed today) is ranked in my preferences 'Advanced', 'network' and even if I can temporarily remove it via the 'Clear now' button, he later returned.

    I google the issue and read astounding lines of code, but I'm not so wise to know where to make these types of changes could lead!

    I've got 33.1 Firefox on Mac 10.6.8 and hope that someone in the community of Mozilla may have a fix.

    Thank you

    Hello

    If you enter Subject: authorizations into your address bar and press ENTER, it should show you a list of sites. You can select the site that you want to store information and then set 'Maintain offline storage' on 'block '.

    In your advanced options, you can also have "tell me when a website asks to store data for offline use" selected, so you ask all the sites, and you can block them.

  • Why not Lightroom organizes photos and videos is missing 'date taken' by 'date modified' instead of 'creation date '?

    It always seems to be a problem with Lightroom 5. This post is one of the first results, after trying to Google this problem, and it's for LR3. I don't understand why something so basic to some photos (and video) Organization has been neglected for so long.

    I tried to import and organize all my old photos and videos by date with LR5. They have been backed up and copied several times over the years, most recently on an external drive last week. Thus, each file has a 'creation date' last week. But 'change' is the date recorded.

    It's not bad for pictures with a good EXIF "date taken" - but LR5 resembles the "creation date" for videos, making it completely useless to organize them into folders based on date. He puts videos I recorded in 2010 (in accordance with the "modification date") in a case 2014-12. Why.

    It is not only a video problem - some pictures that I took with devices that does not record date "EXIF taken" are also filed in folders of this month even if the 'update' on them is correct as is 5 years.

    How can I count on LR5 organization importing and based on the date when it is based on the files (lack of "date taken") having never been copied or backed up?

    It has been at least partially fixed in LR 5.5, for images: Lightroom: the dates do not match for the missing files metadata date/time.  But I just tested import a .avi in LR 5.7 / Windows 8.1 and the date below the thumbnail in the grid has been the time of last modification of the file system, while the Date of Capture in the metadata Panel has been set at the time of importation.

    I started a new topic in the Adobe official feedback forum: Lightroom: capture still inconsistent date/time for videos. Please add your vote and review on it.
