Think about it an absolute must - manually update your drivers.

Vista and Windows 7 updated drivers love then here's how update the most important.

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on update
Driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right-click.
Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
    each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
    necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
    manually by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.
    http://pcsupport.about.com/od/driverssupport/HT/driverdlmfgr.htm

Installation and update of drivers under Windows 7 (updated drivers manually using the methods above
It is preferable to ensure that the latest drivers from the manufacturer of system and device manufacturers are located)
    http://www.SevenForums.com/tutorials/43216-installing-updating-drivers-7-a.html

If you update the drivers manually, then it's a good idea to disable the facilities of driver under Windows
Updates, that leaves about Windows updates but it will not install the drivers that will be generally
older and cause problems. If updates offers a new driver and then HIDE it (right click on it), then
get new manually if you wish.

Since you are using FireFox you must check with their Support and Forums. Also check with your
favorite search engine when considering a toolbar. Be careful because some questionable programs

  • Spans of data warehouses VMFS are "safe" to use in a production environment?

I asked this question before, but I don't have a clear answer.

I have a need to present a 8TB LUN to the virtual machine running Win 2008 R2. The LUN this big is necessary to host medical images for archiving of the software publisher. Storage is that Fiber Channel connected Net App FAS2040A. Currently, my options are to use extends or buy a CIFS license.

So the questions that I have, is there any questions/problems/concerns with multi - extend VMFS volumes?

Scopes will not help in this case because the 2 TB limitation also applies to virtual disks. Even if you create an extended data store, you must create several virtual disks and concatenate them RAID 0 software in Windows. I don't know the cost of the licenses CIFS and the impact on disk space you need on the Netapp side, but for me, this seems to be the safest way to reach your goal.

  • The vista updates are not safe to use?

I recently had the problem of vista update loop. I managed to fix it get, but it's not as simple as that. I don't want it to happen again. so, can someone tell me what updates can cause it again?

I read that kb937287 caused the problem. and so it will never happen, it must be installed after KB949939. but the problem is that they both won'tinstall on my vista ultimate sp1. Maybe because mine is sp1.

are there updates like this that cause the same problem? I was still worried and never install updates again? I hope that someonecan help me... Thank you!

All updates for your particular computer operating system Vista security are safe to use.

That's what Windows Update. He checks the updates are necessary.

But, you must make sure that your computer is kept adequately

    Which includes:

    1 disk Cleanup.

    2. analysis of the antivirus. And Anti-Malware/Spyware Scanner on a regular.

"Optimize Windows Vista for better performance"

    4. make sure that all drivers are up-to-date and perfectly Compatible Vista. Check in the Device Manager.
Faulty 3rd party drivers will cause problems, including in the security update.

    5. in the optional updates, do not part away 3rd hardware drivers download.
Always get thenm to the hardware manufacturer's Web site.

Glad to see that your computer got fixed!

  • Are the "registry cleaners" safe to use?

    Hello

I just want to know if these so-called "registry cleaners" are safe to use.  Since they are all over the Internet, I guess a lot of people use them.  They give promises of better performance of the computer, get rid of all the waste left by the previously uninstalled programs.  But I think that an untrained hand, isn't it will cause more trouble?

The reason I ask is that Yes, I see records left by the previously uninstalled programs and it is quite annoying to find records that have nothing in them.  I just need advice if using these things will be OK.

And I would also be very happy if you could give suggestions on what cleaning products I'd use.  As you have noticed I am not very good with computers, but I also try to avoid delayed damage anything because I know I can't fix it.

Yes! Registry cleaning programs are * all * snake oil. Cleaning of the
    ve only registry and
do not use any registry cleaner. Despite what many people think, and
What software record cleaning suppliers are trying to convince you,
have unused registry entries is not really make you hurt.

The risk of a serious problem caused by a registry cleaner by mistake
delete an entry you need is much greater than any potential benefit
    It can have.

We moved our 4 ESX host to a different physical switch and now our VMs cannot access the network.

I can access the host via client vsphere.  Our host has 2 network cards.  They are both members of the vSwitch0.  I have 1 VM network defined, and they are both members of it.  The network adapters, vmnic0 and vmnic1 are also part of my VMkernel which I do not know that I need because I have 1 ESX Server and do not use iscsi or NFS.

the two cards are also part of my service console.
