• Oracle Forms and APEX

  Hello all-
  I have a project management application that has been developed in Oracle Forms v10.1.2.0.2 and application of asset management developed on-demand Express 3.1 - both in the same database. There are new requirements to include certain active data in the implementation of projects for the year. There are forms of APEX in the application of assets they want to include in the project request forms. Is there a way to "embed" an APEX shape breast and Oracle? I know that I can use web.show_document () in the forms, but which will open another browser window and it is not acceptable for users. I also know that I can recreate the asset shape in Oracle Forms and who will be part of the project application. But it means that I have 2 forms of assets to keep in case there are changes. I would really like Oracle Forms 'use' my APEX form. Is this possible?

  You can not install Apex on ISE 1.2.  It can be installed 1.3 in the rooms. Rest the existing license needs to be renewed.

  I have a problem with jquery in the apex. I searched in previous posts, but I can't reach to make it work...
  I'm under apex 3.2.1 on linux with the apex listener.
  
  I want to refresh a report, and I found that it was possible to do using jQuery (...). Trigger ('apexrefresh'). So I tried to declare jquery...
  I've downloaded jquery - http://jquery.com 1.8.3.js and downloaded as static files in the components shared with apex.
  
  Now, I'm trying to set the file in my section of javascript like this:

• Pre-built virtual machine with OBIEE and APEX

  Hi all
  
  I searched for a virtual machine with OBIEE and APEX pre-installed, but I can't find it... or information messages on this subject. Does anyone know if y at - it a selection of pre-designed developer programs VM with these two tools?
  I currently have the "database App Development VM' with APEX in there, but I can't understand how to install OBIEE inside.
  
  Any help will be appreciated.

  PL see deployment guide in the link above - the model of computer virtual includes version of database 11.2.0.3, which should be the APEX installed by default in it. If this isn't the case, it will be much easier to install the APEX in the VM OBIEE.

  exactly. Details have recently been examined here: {: identifier of the thread = 1955437}. You will find the link to the license document it.
  But OSH is not only registered with the database. If you have an OAS running somewhere, you can use the HTTP server that comes with this instance for APEX as well.

  Another option could be the APEX listener that runs on (almost) any J2EE container. The officially supported include the embedded GlassFish and the Open Source Edition of GlassFish, who both don't need no extra license.

  It would be nice to see some kuler integration with Photoshop and Flash. I love Illustrator Panel and want to Photoshop and Flash could use it. Unfortunately, the Flash has no support of ESA (probably a legacy of Macromedia) and would require an update to do so. Photoshop has full support ESA. A panel kuler to Photoshop is exactly what people need. This time, I save the swatches and then open them in Photoshop, without successful integration. Implementation of the Illustrator is great. Kuler will have a panel of Photoshop?

• Stimulation of authentication with Oracle XE and Apex 3.2 XDB

  Hi all.
  
  I had nothing better to do, so I dropped my original database XE (10.2.0.1). Then, I run the createdb.sh script in $ORACLE_HOME/bin to create a new. He created a new database, but there is no apex. I downloaded and unpacked Apex 3.2 in my / opt directory and ran "apexins SYSAUX SYSAUX TEMP/i /" to install the apex and tracking the other instructions for setting up the internal admin and images directory password ADMIN account. However, if I try to connect to APEX, I get a connection for XDB fault. After what I read in other threads, I opened the ANONYMOUS account. I also tried to run apex_epg_config.sql.   You don't know if you got this resolved... but I rebuilt my server APEX and APEX application... and had the same problem!

  I entered:

  ALTER USER XDB ACCOUNT UNLOCK;

  and that fixed my problem!

  is anyone using XE and ApEx for production applications? How does the built-in HTTP Server? I realized that in order to use the Oracle HTTP Server, you must obtain at least Standard Edition One, so in this case XE isn't a cost of Eve anylonger. We plan to create an application web small (max 6 users competitor) on top of XE and we must decide what technology should be used for the web interface: ApEx or PHP?

  I am convinced that you can go a long way with Oracle XE.

  This is a discussion on the scalability of the XE (Mark Townsend was the responsible manager XE).

  In addition, the embedded plsql gateway uses the Oracle listener to manage connections to the database. He is progressing well.

  A simple server using Apache http as a proxy for XE will give you security and performance optimizations. You can then copy the images on the file system directory and serve through Apache (also using the caching on the file system).

  Don't forget, slowed down a request most is the poor performance of your sql queries. APEX itself only adds a slight overhead.

  Todd,

  We have certainly will continue work on the library, with the main objective on the realization of full namespace (to reduce the risk of collisions with different libraries functions) and the integration of jquery (making use of the features of the great library of basic such as chaining DOM selectors, improved, etc., but not of jquery UI).

  While it is currently possible to integrate with other libraries and many people have had great results with it, there are other plans for the future which should make life easier. To know custom item types, which allows developers to more easily code and reuse 3rd widgets to party in their applications.

  Another plan is what we call "Dynamic action", which will allow developers to set declaratively in the APEX for example activation, deactivation, display client side logic and hiding items. It is about making life easier for developers who do not want to dirty their hands with JavaScript, but still want to achieve such functionality in their applications.

  But I do not think that we could reach a point where "users have no need to use 3 parties. We are not all things to all people, different people have different requirements and tastes. For this reason, providing the best scalability (through custom item types) is the goal.

  We will also improve the documentation on the library, since 3.1, we had a few docs in chapter API user guide, but we will look to improve it with more detailed in future examples.

• All content tiles missing and integrated PDF reader and password manager no longer works after update to 34.0

  After that I updated to 34.0 on OSX 10.9.5 (auto update comprehensive), I noticed that all of the content of the tile is missing. Before the update, I have seen a lot of tiles when I open a new tab. Even after a few navigation, no content appears (I see only an array of blank tiles). I went between white classic, bright, cooler. No effect.

  You can check for problems with preferences.

  Delete possible user.js and files numbered prefs-# .js and rename (or delete) the file prefs.js to reset all the prefs by default, including the prefs set via user.js and pref which is no longer supported in the current version of Firefox.

  This is a newbie question, but I have some difficulty to get Visual Studio 2010 to integrate with Measurement Studio 2010. I tried to follow the instructions to manually integrate MS vs on the following page:

  and was able to make the first step in the execution of devenv/setup to the VS command prompt. However, when I tried to do the second step of the choice of editing OR to add to the Toolbox, the only thing in the assemblies/current folder is NationalInstruments.Common.Native.dll, which rejects the Visual Studio with the error not be a .NET module.

  I don't know what I should see in the assemblies/current folder, or how to make this second phase of work.

  Measurement Studio 2010 supports the integration of Visual Studio 2010, so it shouldn't be necessary to do the manual integration.

  When you run Setup for Measurement Studio, you will get a screen that allows to select the features you want to install. You will see a heading "Support for Visual Studio 2010. Make sure you click on the button disk bit beside him and select this option to install this feature. If you expand the category, you will see also the linguistic support .NET Framework 4.0 is a subcategory, and within that category, you will see Visual Studio integration. Make sure that all of these items are selected to be installed (see a small disc with a white icon).

  I suspect that what has happened is Measurement Studio was installed without Visual Studio support or .NET Framework language support - which would explain why Measurement Studio has not been properly integrated, and why you didn't see assemblies .NET into this folder. I think that to re-run the installer and check these settings should solve the problem. Let us know if you need help more!

  Hello.  I guess you're wanting to integrate the speed to track the position of your robot?  LabVIEW has Integration & differentiation screw that should do the job.  In addition, depending on the configuration of your robot, you can calculate directly measured the count position of the encoder based on the resolution of the encoder and the diameter of the wheel.  I hope this helps!
