Intel ITU H.264 (H264) codec

I deleted by mistake the codec Intel ITU H.264 (H264) and then emptied my trash. Now I can't watch DVD or videos from my cam corder. What should I do now to restore it. I'm not very good on a computer so please do as simple answers that you can. Thank you.

I have a question sent twice, I'm sorry, I hope that this software comes with convert CFR, but this software has many problems, my normal save AVI video, using the most common H264 codec, the file is not a problem, the software application error?

I use the MP4 format to import, use the same codec, the result is imported successfully!

OK, I love this software, this software can improve it? I know, it can use the transcoder / converter to solve, but too much trouble!

  • Lack codec h264 in after effect CC (2015)

    Hello.

Miss me the h264 codec in after effect CC (2015). the problem persists for about a year. I have this codec in first pro, but not after the effect. What can I do?

After effects encodes is more directly in H.264 (he didn't do a great job of it in the past). You can return an intermediate codec to EI or send your AE comp directly to Adobe Media Encoder.

I almost always rendering directly to EI. This is because AE CC 2014 multiprocessing. So, I'll work in 2015 CC to enjoy snappier interface and open the project file in CC 2014 to make with multiprocessing (as my system can use this feature very well in most of the projects).

Here's the Adobe blog about uninstalling: using Adobe Media Encoder to create H.264, MPEG-2 and WMV videos get out of After Effects

If you talk to a lot of Veterans around here, they will say that the AE h.264 encoder was buggy and did not do a good job. They call deletion "good riddance." The AE team is small enough, so put their resources to improve the work of EI to VFX compositing and motion graphics, and leave the team work Adobe Media Encoder encoding of things seems logical.

  • Why PrP CC exports a file codec AVC when I export a H264?

    Hey everybody,

I'm new to PrPro in FCP7. I'm so used to export a file with compression H.264 .mov, and I can't believe I can't do that within PrPro. I don't know that it must be something simple that I don't see. When I export from Media Encoder H264, I find myself with a .mp4 file that if I open Qt and watch the said card is an AVC codec and it shows me the same data rate... This is really boring and frankly looks like a mistake to me, even if the file "seems" good. Can someone please explain to me what I'm missing here?

I really appreciate the info on it. Thanks to advance!

Too bad! I have been deceived by ME, because when I clicked on the presets drop I saw "H.264" and that he thought "Great!" It's what I need. Turns out that I actually want to "Quicktime Movie" and THEN choose H264 in the settings below and which will export a .mov with H264 codec, not a .mp4 with codec AVC.

  • Codec H264

H264 Codec - I understand that WMM and WMP requires this codec to play/edit the HD of my new camera (Canon 500 d) files. I searched on the web and still cannot locate a reliable or which seems to work fine. Can anyone help?

  • What container do I need for codec H264?

    Hello

I'm quite new to video editing. A friend of mine who is an experienced video editor said I should use the H264 Codec. I shot the images with my iPhone 6 and want to create videos for Youtube. That no container I chose when I create a new sequence in my first Pro CC 2014 project?

    Thank you in advance,

    Oliver

    Hi Oliver,.

(You can just import your iPhone clips and drag one of them to the new question button) the stationery button) at the bottom of the project Panel.  It will implement a sequence to match the settings of your phone footage.

Then when export you can send it to Media Encoder (file > Media export and then click the queue button) and use the vimeo or Youtube presets - probably a 1080 p set.

It's the easiest way for you to go without becoming accustomed to the selection of parameters/export formats.

Regarding the H264 codec that normally lives inside a .mov or .mp4 container.

    Hope this helps

  • Codec used live streaming

    Hi all

I work with the live broadcast for a few weeks, using flash.media.Camera and flash.net.NetStream class. I have not found any place where the codec is specified, which is used to encode live stream.

Anyone know what codec is used, and if there is a possiblitiy of using the H264 codec for live streaming? I found that the live broadcast with the h.264 codec seems to be possible with the encoder flashmedia (http://www.adobe.com/products/flashmediaserver/flashmediaencoder/). Is this possible with flash player only?

    Thanks for your help,

    Marc

    Hi Marc,

Flash Player does not support H264 encoding. Only video codec supported by Flash Player is Sorenson and it supports two audio - Nellymoser and Speex codecs.

So, if you need H264, you use GFFE or any other partner supported encoders.

  • Should what file format I use if they cannot read the H264?

I pulled out my final AE animations with the Animation codec for editing.

When I create a version of an animation for the customer to review, I use the H264 codec. It looks good, and the file size is reasonable.

But what do I do if the client is unable to play videos with the H264 codec? It appears with older computers, even if they have Quicktime 7 or higher.

(Note - the Mac I bought last August does Sorenson 3 on this subject.) I don't know how to get a return.)

    Best,

    Mike

H.264 should play in QT7, so it's strange, but you could use MPEG4 to work around the problem - it is pretty universally accepted on Windows and Mac.

If you open Quicktime Preferences there is an option to enable the codecs - that should bring back Sorenson 3.

  • First 2015.4 is not using CUDA when H.264 rendering

I use 2015.4 first on Windows 10 64-bit (current as of this date patches) on an i5 - 3570 K/32 GB with an EVGA GeForce GTX 650 Ti SSC 2 GB with driver rev 372.70 (current).  When I visited a project in the format H.264 first DO NOT use my CUDA cores.  When I visited the same project format MOV first FACT use my CUDA cores.  I have all the settings of export to their default values.  In preferences-> media, Enable accelerated Intel decoding h.264 is turned on.  In the project settings, Renderer is set for the Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration (CUDA).  I can't find other settings that look like they could cause this.

Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong?  Or first just not support the GPU acceleration when rendering H.264?

  • Incompatible video codec

I'm new to video - just started studying 3 weeks ago.  I downloaded the trial version of Premiere Pro to determine if it is the video editing software that I wish to buy.  However, I'm so frustrated!  When I went to export my first video to QuickTime using the preset 'PAL H.264 AAC 48 kHz' (for the purposes of the assignment) it comes up with an error "Incompatible video Codec found in the present. Preset failed. "After trying all the presets, it seems all five H.264 presets have this same error message.  I tried Googling solutions online, and it seems that many people have had this problem but I can't seem to find a solution.  I'm under Windows8, and a forum suggested to install the latest version of Quicktime, but made no difference.  I wonder if there is a problem with the trial version but don't want to buy the product if I'm still having these issues.  Help... my missions are now two weeks late and my host is a loss as well!

I'm on Win7 Ultimate and H.264 & Qt codecs all run beautifully. Something happens, it happens rarely but happens. Wish my brain cells had all this in mind, but Ann or someone should pop in & help on this. There are a lot of people who run all the similar and 264/Qt codecs. did you check the video codec pack Microsoft Windows itself? I know a few people who downloaded and have been up & running.

  • Is h264 not?

I installed Adobe CS6 (as a trial, I'll install the license in three days) I

There is no Format h264 video and not the h264 codec, and I need because I'm video rendering (AVI) which ends with like 60 GB (11 minutes) and it is pretty bad. (I tried with MPEG-DVD, but the quality is horrible on a TV screen)

Does anyone know how to get the h264 codec? It come with the license? Help, please!

Several discussions on this topic. You should use the SOUL. The rendered mark MPEG encoding options have been deprecated, but can be restored by going to the preferences panel and by checking the box.

  • How to export a H264 video with 2 audio conversion and Wave passes?

"QuickTime" format allows you to export a H264 with audio wave, but with a single pass conversion.

"H264" format allows you to choose the compression of VBR 2 pass, but force you to use the AAC codec for audio.

Is it possible to export a video using the H264 codec with a 2-Pass VBR compression, without compressing the audio?

OK, what is the way to lose the black bars?

So far, the best solution I've found is to create an MKV to H264 video created with first and the wave of 24-bit with ProTools. I think I'll stay with it, but if you can suggest something better...

  • What is the best intermediate codec should I use for editing in Premiere Pro CS6

I am a photographer at video edting and unfamiliar with codecs. I work with video Time lapse 1920x1080p generated by Lightroom 4 through LRTimelapse, which uses the H.264 mp4 codec.  My video clip features movements of a camera bump that has stabilized through Warp, but there also slowed a little need to reach a specific length. String and time remapping can be done on the same sequence, so I think I need to export the clip stabilized string in an intermediate file, re - import in to the body and then slow down the clip. I tried MXF OP1a: class AVC-Intra 100 1080. Video re-imported mxf blurs when previewing, but is strong when the clip is stopped.

    1. What is the best intermediate codec for further editing?

    2. is it important what order are stabilizing Warp and time remapping?

3 or is there a better way to stabilize AND slow down a clip?

    System

    iMac 27 i7 2.8 GHz quadruple-heart, Os X 10.8.2

You don't need to export to an intermediate file.

Add timeremapping, right-click on the clip and the nest, and then adds the string.
