IntelliPoint and zoomfunction / Magnifier

Hello, I use the zoomfunction/magnifying glass. I put it to my mouse scroll button and I can add/remove the magnifying glass with a single click. Very useful.  Everything works fine Windows XP but now I have windows Vista for a few months and there is a big usability problem on all my vista computers.

When I turn on the Magnifier/zoomfunction still flickering screen of 2-3 seconds: (Tehri ist any correction or future bugfix for this)? I need this feature because I have some problems with my eyes and this zoomfuntion is the best I ever try.

I now use intellipoint 7.1.

Thanks for the reply.

Both might need even more recent drivers. Check with the system and support of the manufacturer of the device
and forums like this might be a known issue, or at least must be identified.

  • IntelliPoint how leave Mac OS to manage all the buttons

I sometimes use the mouse on the left side and sometimes on the right side. I exchange the click and click secondary preferential IntelliPoint, which is a pain to move 6 clicks every time.

When accidentally, I changed the main mouse button Mac preferences normal mouse, the first click no longer working and the left and right buttons act as secondary click, so there is no way to click on what anyone properly, until I have remove IntelliPoint and then restart the mac (at least two buttons allowed in the Apple menu and briefly made the buttons a primary click.) This behavior occurs Intellipoint 6 up to 8.2.

I prefer to use the normal mouse preferences to swap the buttons (just click the IntelliPoint preferences requires 6 clicks). When I try to let all the buttons in the Intellipoint preferences to be managed by Mac OS, IntelliPoint doesn't let me change all buttons to be managed by Mac OS. It requires me to select at least one button as first click.

I still need the Intellipoint driver because without it OS X does not detect the other buttons scroll up-down and left to right, etc..

If there is no immediate solution, I would like to see IntelliPoint be smart enough to allow users to change all buttons to be managed by Mac OS. This never prevents primary click from mouse preferences Mac will not click primary to disappear.

In comparison, preferences mouse Logitech automatically detects changes in normal mice for primary click preferences and will not make the mouse clicks unusable.

  • Removal of Microsoft IntellIpoint

I have a user who cannot remove Microsoft IntelliPoint, but I'm not able to.

I used to have a Microsoft trackball which I installed IntelliPoint, but a year ago I had a Kensington trackball, which requires mouse work. There is not too long a story on the Kensington mouse stopped working, a scroll wheel. When the control panel mouse properties, it will receive this message:

Some settings of the mouse may not work until you connect a Microsoft mouse to a USB port on your computer or to set up a Microsoft mouse that uses Bluetooth

Only show properties for the Microsoft mouse, but not for the Kensington mouse. I tried to uninstall IntelliPoint, but I'm not able to. When I go into Add/Remove Program I see IntelliPoint and IntelliType, but it does not give me the options to uninstall or change. If I go to start > all programs, there is no uninstall icon.

How can I uninstall IntelliPoint, I want to remove and reinstall the software of Kensington.

    Thanks in advance.

This program works well just make SURE to read the directions. When you run the program it will remove it, but follow the instructions when running it.

  • I can't read the SLP COA on my laptop and need to re - install Vista Home Premium

I have an old Acer Aspire. It came with Vista Home Premium installed. In January, I bought a new HD and installed Windows 7. I don't like it and want to go back to Vista. E problem, it is that the COA sticker is so old that I can't read all the numbers that it burns me upwards I'm trying to be legal here and things are conspiring against me. I can't read 4 characters.

    Hello

Tips from Microsoft is to contact Acer and ask them a different product key.

I've never seen Acer a supply.

And there is no way that we can help you with a different key of product here.

You can contact Acer and ask them to send you a set of recovery disc Vista for your model

They will demand the SN: (serial number).

They should do this for a small fee.

The risk you run is that Acer has suspended the sale of recovery disc for some of its models.

How to order the eRecovery discs:

    https://store.Acer.com/store?action=DisplayDataValidationServicePage&locale=en_US&siteid=Acerna

The relocation method above does not normally allows you to provide a product key during Installation, the recovery process uses the Installation product key factory to activate automatically during the resettlement process.

The other thing you could do is to get a flame and the magnifying glass and see if you can read these 4 numbers.

    See you soon.

  • IntelliPoint mouse, Smooth Scrolling issues, the Domino effect on my laptop

One thing leads to another.  Starts on my mouse won't smooth scroll at all, but large gaps instead, very rough.  I tried for more than a month to understand the problem.  I have no control on it, the options he list not except possibly registration to enable it, and I'm not sure that I watched this so many times and in many ways my memory, it's go/burned.
Anyway so I think is the mouse, blah blah.  But now I think it could be that when I installed Intellipoint that I had a mistake in doing so it maybe that's the problem.  Very well.

So I tell me to reinstall intellipoint, but I cannot do this until I uninstall the mouse too, but I can't uninstall the mouse because it explains how it works, but I'll be darn if I know where its unplugged and worthless.

So I can't reinstall intellipoint until I have remove the old intellipoint, but it wont let me until I do something with the mouse and I can't do the mouse because its supposedly running.

This is impossible until you do this and basically I'm going crazy, how can I close a program in execution of the mouse?

I have been at this for so long and am so frustrated his everything works together in my head until I don't remember what I did to WHO.

    Help, please.

  • My copy of windows is not genuine, apparently, and my product key contains an invalid character

I use this computer for over a year with no problems, but when I started it today, my product key was apparently not valid. It contains either one I have either a 1, neither of which is a valid character. Is that what I can do about it?

If you encounter problems reading your product key on the label, try a flashlight and a magnifying glass.

    My understanding is...

Of the 36 Latin and Arabic, used numbers in most of Western Europe
languages, 24 seem to be used for current product codes and 12 are not.

    The 24 used are:
    2346789BCDFGHJKMPQRTVWXY

    The unused 12 are:
    015AEILNOSUZ

According to police and the used letter cases, this reduced set is usually
without ambiguity, but knowing that the members it certainly may be useful.
Microsoft usually uses uppercase for printing / display of the distribution, and
It doesn't look like they have been specially selected to minimize the chances of
confusion and also, I believe, to avoid accidentally generating
offensive - looking sequences of characters. The model is easier if you look

  • magnifying glass is constantly changing zoom size while typing

It drives me crazy.  While typing a post, the auto zoom lights (later changed to 110%) I typed that sentence.  The hourglass (now it's 125 per cent and now back to 110 per cent).   I have reset by default and it will start to change again once I type.  Sometimes he (90% now) goes up so much that I can't not (110-90) up to 700%.  driving me crazy.  It behaves actually better than many other times, when it begins to change the zooms so fast that the computer is unusable.   I checked the usability in the control panel and the magnifying glass is not checked.  I'm not clicking on shortcuts for zoom in changes.

After trying for months, I finally fixed it right after the typo in the above post.  The constant evolution of zoom was caused by the wireless mouse.  I opened the Control Panel, mouse and disabled a few zoom feature.
