Disable hyperlinks

Hello, I have not been able to find how to remove a hyperlink from a string of text by using inspector or Ctrl-click.  I read the thread on the hyperlink Inspector button, but I can't find one.  Thanks for the help!

What app do you use?  (It's the numbers for Mac forum).

  • Disable hyperlinks in browser

I have hyperlinks in a PDF document that link to other PDF files on my local network. When the hyperlink is clicked, it opens in Chrome instead of just open another tab in Acrobat Reader ms. In earlier versions of Acrobat, this was not a problem.  I have been through the settings and can come with no way to change the associations.   Any ideas?

It depends on what kind of links they are. If they are file:/// links then they will be directed to the default browser. Maybe in the past that the browser has been put in place and then open them in Acrobat... The right way to link to other files on the system is with a "Open a file" or "Access (remote) page views" command (if these are PDF files), incidentally.

    So any suggestions?  Thanks again.

OK - the modifier key is necessary in read-write mode. Links read only and read - select will work normally.

  • RESOLVED - can't download the KB2781272 patch

I got a patch from this page, https://support.microsoft.com/hotfix/kbhotfix?kbnum=2781272&kbln=en-US by e-mail. I get the email, but I'm unable to download the patch. I get a server error which reads as follows,

    Server error
500 - error internal server. There is a problem with the resource you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed.

I get this in Internet Explorer and Chrome on the same computer. I also have this on a Netbook with Windows 7 and a server running WHS2011, so it seems to be a problem on the download servers.

Thanks for the suggestion. I found that it was a problem with the Microsoft download servers. Since then I've been able to download patches. • Remove bread to some of the topics

    Hi all

I use frameset, one divided by a single horizontal line.

The first image contains the real data and the other contains the list of topics see also.

The reason why I split the content is because the content comes from a word (Link option) document and the second theme contains hypertext links.

I'd like to preserve hyperlinks, whenever word documents change and so I used this method.

The only problem is that the bread crumbs appear even in the topic of hyperlinks.

Is there a way to disable hyperlinks of some subjects?

    Kind regards

    Deepti

    screen.jpg

There are two ways to have the bread crumbs.

In the SSL configuration, there is a breadcrumb option that will put the bread crumbs in all categories.

The other option is to uncheck that and put the bread crumbs in a Master Page. Then only the topics that are associated with that Master Page will have bread crumbs. This is the option you want.

  • Disable the hyperlink with conditional formatting

    Hi experts

I have an analysis of HTML code.

    My analysis have different ranks:

    Entity link - value
    Entity1 - 12
    Entite2 - 23
    Entity3 - 33

Link entity is a column with a hyperlink or HTML.

I want to deactivate a hyperlink in some entities in my report by using the conditional formatting... but I don't know how I can do this...

The entity column has data Format: @[html]@H so I can see the link instead of html code... but I see links to all the lines...]

In the conditional formatting, I can substitute data Format, but I don't know how to disable the link...

    Any help?

    Hello

To disable a link via CSS, you could use the CSS properties:

    pointer-events: none;
    cursor: default;

However, the first property does not work in Internet Explorer. You can test whether they work in other browsers and check if it fits your requirement.

    Thank you

  • disable the page web hyperlink underline

I just had to Firefox 18.0 failing because some things were acting strangely. That solved my problem.

I would like to hyperlinks on pages I've seen to DO NOT to point out that if I score/mouse - on top.

I got this job as I wanted to reset, but now I can't find what I need to do underscores disappears.

I tried literally dozens of search phrases in the Firefox community, but nothing helped.

You clear the check box 'Underline links '?

I'd like to clear the check box, but I can't! Either I'm blind or it is too well hidden. I am betting I have selective blindness!

  • Browser does not hyperlinks work

Firefox has crashed repeatedly, uninstall and reinstall doesn't allow some hyperlinks work on web pages... Help?

Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode that temporarily disables hardware acceleration, restores some settings and disables add-ons (extensions and themes).

If Firefox is open, you can restart Firefox Safe mode in the Help menu:

    • Click the menu button

      click Help

then select restart with disabled modules.

If Firefox does not work, you can start Firefox in Mode safe as follows:

    • On Windows: Hold down the SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
    • On Mac: Hold the option key during the startup of Firefox.
    • On Linux: Exit Firefox, go to your Terminal and run firefox-safe-mode
(you may need to specify the installation path of Firefox for example/usr/lib/firefox)

When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, select "start mode safe."

If the problem is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, theme or hardware acceleration. Please follow the steps described in the section Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems to find the cause.

To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.

  • How to disable the status text without using Status4Evar

I want to disable the text of the status bar with pop down when you hover over a URL. The reason is simply because I think the annoying blinking, if I want to see where a hyperlink I used to look at its properties.

The most common solutions seem to be edit the userChrome.css file (this has no effect for me), or use the Status4Evar addon. The addon works, but it is another problem and flies the way of pop-up downloads down to the left, as shown here: http://imgur.com/XyLkX30

I also tried "Bar of the Addon (restored) but it does not delete the text of State.»

    Is there another way?

    Thank you.

Does your code in the file work?

    #urlbar *, #FindToolbar *, #search-container * { font-size:15pt!important; }

Can you post the entire contents of the userChrome.css file?

    • Create the folder chrome (lowercase) in the .default < xxxxxxxx > profile folder if the folder does not exist
    • Use a text editor like Notepad to create a userChrome.css (new) file in the folder chrome (file name is case sensitive)
    • Paste the code in the userChrome.css file in the Editor window
    • Make sure that the userChrome.css file starts with the default @namespace line
    • Make sure that you select "All files" and not "text files" when you save the file via "save file as" in the text editor as userChrome.css.
Otherwise, Windows can add a hidden .txt file extension and you end up with one does not not userChrome.css.txt file
  • Cannot open hyperlinks in Microsoft Office programs

I have several hyperlinks in Excel and Word. When I click on it with Internet Explorer as my default, they open. When I click on it with Firefox as my default, nothing happens.

    Hello

Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode that disables some settings and disables most Add-ons (extensions and themes).

(If you are using an additional theme, place you in default theme.)

If Firefox is open, you can restart in Mode without failure of Firefox in the Help menu by clicking on the restart with the disabled... modules menu item:

    • On Linux: Exit Firefox, go to your Terminal and run firefox-safe-mode
(you may need to specify the installation path of Firefox for example/usr/lib/firefox)

Once you get the pop-up, simply select "" boot mode safe. "

If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to understand that one. Please follow the section Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems to find the cause.

  • When I right click, the same context menu opens (menu hyperlinks, with "Open link in a new tab", etc.) no matter what/where I do a right-click.

No matter where I right click on a webpage displayed (NOT the bar menu at the top of the screen), in computer text highlighted, a white spot in a Web page, or whatever it is, the shortcut menu for a hyperlink appears upward (with options to open it in a new tab, window or private (, bookmarking), and none of these options actually do anything, even if it is a hyperlink, I'm clicking. With the help of shortcuts like Ctrl + click on work very well. I have not recently installed plug-ins, and it only started a few hours ago. Wat do I do?

Try disabling Firebug and see how it is.

  • Ghostery addon causes 100% CPU load on a carrot for a few seconds for each hyperlink that you clicked.

For many months now and with several versions of Firefox and firefox profiles, turning the Ghostery add-on causes each hyperlink clicked to have 2 second break. In the Task Manager, I see 25% cpu usage, which equals 100% of CPU on my Quad Core cpu load.

If I disable Ghostery and restart Firefox, all problems disappear. So I have either the choice between a slow browser, or privacy-enabled navigation. Both are unacceptable.

I can't find anyone with this problem; is it me?

I did not use of Ghostery but I guess it could be the preload page and inspect and possibly break URLS to protect you before posting. Maybe if you set the settings so that it does less, allows you to balance the objectives of performance and privacy?

I noticed this on their support site today: https://getsatisfaction.com/ghostery/topics/your_script_becomes_unresponsive_raising_hell_with_firefox
