  I made this connection and access between the host and the guest, and to access the oracle on the guest database.

  System information:

  • MacBook Pro - OS X 10.8.4
  • RAM 4 GB [go to 8 GB]
  • Package VM: Oracle Virtual Box
  • Guest VM: Oracle VM [ http://goo.gl/dtbzO ] developer pre-designed program selection
  • Network connection: host only

  Steps to connect the host to host

  1. If you see the "ifconfig", you will see a network card named 'vboxnet0' [created after the installation of VB]
  2. Check the address allocated to the virtual machine [MAC]-> preferences-> network: copy the beginning or between address, which in my case has been 192.168.56.101 [start a]
  3. Assign the address to the vboxnet0 adepter by terminal: sudo ifconfig vboxnet0 alias 192.168.56.101 to the top
  4. Change the virtual machine network affecting "Host," only
  5. Select the vboxnet0 virtual adapter in the adapter list, apply the configurations, click ok
  6. Start the guest operating system and login
  7. Check the IP configuration it by ifconfig, you will find the map eth0 with the same IP address that you assigned to the vboxnet0 on the host machine.
  8. Sql Developer on the host machine fire
  9. Make a new connection and "Hostname" as even as the vboxnet0 IE. 192.168.56.101, fill in the other details of the connection details Oracle needed comments
  10. Test the connection
  11. Woollaaaa you are finished

• Lack of interface between Apple Photo and items

  Hello:

  I imported my photos of Apple's Photo to the elements.   All the photos are in the elements, but they have question marks at the top

  left corner and I get a photo is disconnected message if I try to change.

  I talked to Adobe Elements cat and they don't know anything about.    (I take it from the search forum that there is no real interface between the two

  applications.)

  Apple has suggested that I have to copy my photos to a USB file and then import items from there.

  Is there a downside to this?   Which will look like the file structure in the elements?    Should I delete the images currently in the elements before importing?

  You are not viewing the details of your tables so we do not know where the

  BEFORE_TAX_AMOUNT, LAST_SIGNED_DATE, or OBLIGATION_DATE owned or what relationships are exactly.

  You'll probably look at something on these lines:

  Update arcd ar2000_credit_debits

  Set classification_code = 'X ',.

  Comments = "PB - all fields."

  where classification_code is null

  and gl_distribution_code not like '% SMB.

  and (base_amount, last_signed_date)

  Although I doubt that it works because it is (there certainly not tested), and we need all the information on the tables and relationships first.

  You can subtract date-objects. The result is the difference in days.

  I'm trying to set up a Real Application Cluster on my home office so that I can install Oracle 11 g RAC which is a facility where you have two servers accessing the same shared of storage (chipboard).

  In addition they will have a network interface private and a public network interface, so it will be for public interface eth0 and eth1 for interconnection of private networks.

  I read that I can set up using VMWare server, create Virtual Machines and install the operating system invited to them.

  I intend to install Red Hat Linux guest OS.

  My question is basically, how can I do for the establishment of the private network eth1, will be the guest OS to automatically install the sense (do I need to have 2 NIC cards for this), or where and how can this be configured?

  Also, how these two speeches of Virtual Machines to another on the private interconnect?

  And is it possible to use DHCP or do I need to add the IP addresses manually?

  You can have network private without assigning a NIC cards (adapt).

  SR & TAR are the same thing.
  In the past, we usually call them TAR (requests for Technical Assistance). They have just been renamed SR (Service Request).

  To access Metalink (now called My Oracle Support), your company must have a valid license of Oracle & a few CSI, which would allow you to register on their site.

  I need a way to apply a limit of 32 substring for each group of data inside double quotes, with Oracle 11 g PL/SQL.

  Essentially using the following example string that much for me, I have no control of how this string is built:

  str := ‘"AAAAAAA BBBBBBB CCCCCCC DDDDDD1","AAAAAAA BBBBBBB CCCCCCC DDDD",”QWERTY”,”N1N1N1N1N1N1N1N1N1N1N1N1N1N1N1N1N1N1”’;

  I need to go through each group of values between each double quote, for example ("QWERTY") and apply a substring of 32 to each group found.

  So, using the example above of the chain, it's as if I need to do the following:

  str := ‘"substr(‘AAAAAAA BBBBBBB CCCCCCC DDDDDD1’,1,32)","substr(‘AAAAAAA BBBBBBB CCCCCCC DDDD’,1,32)",”substr(‘QWERTY’,1,32)”,”substr(‘N1N1N1N1N1N1N1N1N1N1N1N1N1N1N1N1N1N1’,1,32)”’;

  So in the end, my final result for the str would be composed of four groups where the length of each grouping is less than or equal to 32.
