Internet access for PDF Question

Hello

I was using IE until an auto update last week. I am now using Firefox. I have a business site I go to full report 'missions '. When I click on the task, it should open the report in the same page. It now opens the report in a new window PDF. I can fill in the report, but when I click 'submit', it's not the case. Save the report and e-mail are not an option because it must be submitted through the system. I have repaired, checked for updates and uninstalled/re-installed adobe reader 11 as well as updated adobe flash. The transition from IE to Firefox was recommended by the support of the company's website. Chrome/Safari are not available options. I've 'activated' module additional adobe in Firefox and allowed access to all sites in the preferences of Adobe. Any suggestions on how to "allow internet access" from the adobe site would be appreciated... Thank you

I just changed the tabs of three acrobat adobe applications 'use adobe acrobat (in firefox)' to 'use adobe reader' (default).

Is it not that which is causing the problem - the PDF does not open in Firefox, but in a separate player window?

  • Internet access for virtual machines in Lab Manager

    Hello

Our lab environment is configured separately from corporate network and only some public IPs are able to access the internet. How I would install machinery in the Director of the laboratory to access the internet?

For example, IP range - 64.x.x.x. Creation of a network model with these IP addresses attached to physical networks and external public would give me access to the internet?

    Stan,

You would have to create a physical network that is attached to a vSwitch or Distributed Switch that can connect to this network of 64.x.x.x.

If configure you a Pool of IP, Lab Manager can manage physical network IP assignments to the virtual machines.  so if the virtual machines require Internet access, then they will need to access this network (somehow).

  • C3750 interVLAN routing - no internet access for customer switches

I have a stupid question with my itinerary (intervlan).

I have a test configuration to a stack of C3750 as core and a few 2960's like access switches.

http://users.fraeco.be/setup.png - switch at the bottom is the new network (VLANNED). The switches on the left is the current network of production (10.1.1.0/24)

The C3750 to the router is a 30 network.

There will be 6 VLAN but at the moment I have one configured. VLAN50 - 10.5.1.0/24

The C3750 I can ping my network current production, internet, other VLANs in the testsetup... Everything.

Of the C2960 I can ping other VLAN, join the entry door, reach the router, reached the currenct production network. But I can't reach internet. I have configured 'ip default-gateway 10.5.1.254' on the C2960. C3750 relevant config is down below.

How can I reach other networks connected to the router and the internet not switches to access? I'm trying just to ping 8.8.8.8.

    Hi, Maxim,.

I have no idea about your configuration exactly but for the account information that u as far as I can tell... Configure all the respective host to its ip address vlan respective gateway.

There should be a static route pointing to the router on the switch of the MLS.

And also, make sure that it should be static (or entered dynamic in case you use PGI) of all subnets of VLANs pointing to the ip directly connected inverter MLS.

    It will certainly work.

    Thank you

  • C4580 install disables the XP firewall and internet access for 3 minutes at the start of the PC

After installing C4580, when I turn on my Dell Inspiron C510m, XP tells me that the firewall is disabled, I can't access to the internet or even my router nor can I use the Applets in Control Panel that could help me sort these things. After 3 minutes, the Firewall WARNING disappears and everything is fine, but none of the updates antivirus and software update checks performed and I have to perform these tasks manually. The printer works fine, but it worries me that this behavior indicates a potential vulnerability - it's like something kept the door open to let the unpleasant things in the computer. Uninstall the HP software solves the problem, and he re - install it reminds me once again. There is something hanging in a HP driver at startup?

    PeterM

I found the answer to this one, if anyone is interested, even if the solution required a work-around on the way. Suggested HP support I have just uninstall and install software downloaded from their site (PS_AIO_04_C4500_USW_Full_Win_enu_120_210.exe). This indeed solve, and another problem I had (see network & Wireless forum), but this download is missing the software package I.R.I.S. OCR, presumably for reasons associated with 3 rd-party lisensing. HP support insisted that this download was the OCR, but the OCR .exe is certainly missing. Workaround needed to go back and re - install the CD software, then uninstall everything except the OCR package (you can do), then install the downloaded version. My PC still takes too long to start, but it's probably the combined effect of each software package, I never installed wanting home phone so that it loads.

  • Internet access for laptop Dell Mini 10

I bought a Dell Mini 10 recently it has worked well up until 18/08/12 and then I could not communicate with the Internet, the company told me to return it for an Exchange, I removed the programs I had installed and also I found a program that had been downloaded auto, Microsoft Net, as soon as I removed this program I could access the Internet without any problem. Anyone else having this problem?

I understand, there was a recent update for the McAfee antivirus program that has paralyzed the ability to access the Internet.  If you use McAfee antivirus, you must visit their website and follow their advice.

Normally, you do not want to remove any .net software, but it seems that in your case you lucky.  Detached may cause other applications a malfunction however.

    Good luck.

  • Internet access for client computers to sanitation for AV

I built a test environment for the CNA test reclamation. In a scenario, I try to have a computer with no antivirus is installed to download a freebie AV pack, is re-scanned and get full network access with success after that compliance with the rule that I put in place.

    1. I don't have a local server for client computers to provide the AV software

    2. I want to grant them access ONLY to sites where they can download AV software. (AVG, Microsoft, Symantec, etc.).

In my test network I have deployed the CASE out of band, real IP.

All entries would be greatly appreciated.

    Darryl,

Create a requirement to link and use the hyperlink in the AV software you want to download them.

Also to ensure that the link AV that you post for your condition of link is allowed in the hosts of temporary role.

I have a Cisco ASA 5505 connect my LAN over the internet using NAT/PAT. I want to restrict access to the internet on ports 80 and 443 on a per user basis.

That is to say access to management staff while limiting the general staff.

I guess they will have to authenticate to the ASA some how.

    Pointers?

By default, Firefox is to automatically check for updates every 24 hours.

    • Disable automatic updates, if you wish (Options > advanced > update) and manually check whenever you want (help > about Firefox > check updates)
    • Activate the authorization in McAfee for daily check to occur without informing you (contact McAfree for instructions)
    • Change the frequency of the automatic update checking

  • Parental Controls + Internet Access Policy 'Add' is shaded on

I need to add several new devices to my "target devices" in the Parental control-Internet access policy and program schedules that devices can get online. But my 'Add' is shaded out and I'm not allowed to add devices. I use the browser to log in to the router.

To manage access to the Internet, you have two methods available, Parental control and Internet access policy. That a method can be used at a time. So my first question which option you are trying to use to block or plan the Internet access?

As the Parental controls can restrict internet access for up to five computers or devices. You can block access to the internet or to limit it to specific times, and you can also block specific Web sites.

So if you have several devices then 5 to add then you should use the political Internet access option.

  • Internet goes for a second randomly

    Hello

A few days ago, I noticed that my internet has begun to decline for a few seconds when playing warcraft 3. Its really annoying. IM using wifi and it shows no internet access for a few seconds and after that I can normally only use internet again. I do think that its my modem problem, because the other pc is not a problem. I don't think I installed anything when it started to happen. It's just random. Yesterday the problem was as magically disappeared, but today I am getting random falls again.
    -Does anyone know a fix?

The question is very likely to occur for the following reasons:

    1. map of wireless network has been configured with energy saving features.
    2. the IP address is not static or dynamic, whereby case, the lease of the IP one expires after a while and a new IP address is to be retrieved.
    1. Please provide the model of the computer / wireless network card used to help others.
    2 follow the link: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-in/windows7/change-tcp-ip-settings
    But, here,.
Select use the following IP address: option (click on the address of our choice in the 192.168.x.x sequence, where x is a number between 0 and 255) with subnet mask 255.255.255.0 and default gateway as 192.168.1.1.
