  MS has probably included a video driver in the list of the optional updates for your system of brand not specified and the model.

  After I installed software updates the portable suggested to me, my screen resolution went suddenly from 1900 x 1200 at 1200 x 720 after reboot and it won't let me change it, not even to a lower resolution.
