internet slow rural BOUNCING

Hello

I live in a rural area and for this reason were not being updated to versions of cloud of photoshop, illustrator, acrobat and inDesign.

What usually people do on the upgrade when they live in rural areas? I have CS - 6 and wonder about the upgrade.

Thank you

Garrett

Garrett,

Applications are installed on your computer, and you can work in offline mode. Obviously, the need for internet access is never more, not less due to synchronization and growing complexity.

But if you're completely satisfied with the CS6, you can just stay there. Many have actually decided to saty with / back in CS5, because some changes made after that.

  • Internet slow since I hung wrt110

Hi, everyone I am new here so just wanted to say wats up.  Now the problem.

I just got a wrt110 rangeplus router as a gift, I plugged it into thinking he was going to make my faster internet than its a router N instead of G, then my internet slow super ACE.  I have two computers configuration, both connect wireless but super slow I have wrt54g that works much better than I thought it would be the other wat autour.  Is there something Im doing wrong or something is set up wrong?  Any help on this will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you left for your reply, I understand what the problem was next to everything you said I did, I had to update the firmware of 1.0.02 to 1.0.05 that did the trick, now my internet is fast.  YEA

  • Fast internet, slow Web pages, is that network settings or router apple

I have not changed the settings from anywhere in quite some time, but I suddenly loads of slow Web page. It was suggested to add some dns (8.8.8.8, 6.6.6.6) to my network settings, but that did not help - can made things slower.

But I'm having the same problem on my ipad WiFi, blu - ray via wifi - so can I assume that I need to change the settings in my extreme? Are there settings DNS from the router as opposed to simply a device? If so, what are the differences.

Once again, my wifi seems strong, my bandwidth speed look ok, but I just recently in the past few days affected by the slowdown on Web pages (in safari and firefox and chrome)

I stumble upon a page from apple for the "optimal settings for routers", but honestly, few things on their page seemed to jibe with extreme settings I have (and Yes, I have all the updates on the firmware of the router about a month ago)

'Internet Fast, slow Web pages' usually indicate DNS problems. You use the Google DNS servers, may or may not, help depending on where you are.

To get a better idea on what DNS servers are going to provide the best performance, I suggest that you try an app like namebench. This application will literally be hundreds of test servers and report their respective performance. You can then decide to use one of their suggestions to see if that will help.

  • Internet slow (ping) on Macbook (mid-2012)

I a mid 2012 macbook pro (non-retine) and recently started having slower speeds of the internet. When you use the Ookla speed test, my ping is generally more than 200 (sometimes as high 700); my download speed is around 3 Mbps, when it is usually around 7. I thought it was the internet connection, but then I checked with an Ipad on the same connection, internet speed was 7mbps (ping was 40). When I try the speedtest on some sites powered by Ookla (like my Qwest or at the & t support site, it won't even run the speed test, saying that there is a latency error, or there is a firewall between my computer and the server).

What I tried that did not work:

Turn off the firewall in my security/privacy settings.

Removing a silverlight program I had downloaded recently play video on a local Web site, so I don't know if that would be a factor.

Remove the DivX program, based on what I've read in another similar post on the forum.

    * I did not run an uninstall on these programs, but just moved to the trash, then maybe it is needed?

Change my DNS openDNS numbers numbers. I've since changed my original numbers.

    Any suggestions?

Also, I tried to plug directly into my DSL cord and without wifi. The same problem.

  • Why is internet slow with Firefox

Hello. My internet with firefox is 1 / 20:th of what it should be. I reinstall Firefox with the same speed as the result. Last uppdate two days ago, I, got the speed back to normal for a day, then back to slow speed?
My internet speed is what is should be when I use explore if this isn't my internet or hardware that serves as the upp. I use F-secure, but can't find any bad software. I have a laptop with Firefox and there, the speed is correct. I try to compare my laptop vs desktop settings in Firefox without any result. I don't know how long it was, but I guess it when I uppdated Adobe Flashplayer sometime. But I don't think that my speed is just when I use Explorer and when im games online.

First of all, try resetting Firefox. Refresh Firefox – reset settings and Add-ons. This simple step will eliminate the many problems in Firefox with just one click.

Then, if Firefox is still slow, try to reconfigure your security/firewall software that you may need to allow Firefox. These (F0secure in particular) seem to cause this question often.

  • Pavilion 15 - ab219tx: Internet slows down after connecting the mobile to WiFi.

Previously, I had a problem where internet connection slowed down painfully when cell phone charges. I tried to reset the power settings. Now I can connect to the laptop... However, now the problem is that if connect you to WiFi via the laptop, regardless of if its loading or not, the internet becomes ridiculously slow. And if the wifi is turned off, it returns to normal. Help, please.

  • Internet slow after upgrade to 8.1

I upgraded the OS on my laptop dv-7-7240 HP Envy today from 8 to 8.1 Windows (64-bit), which included 11 Explorer. He went pretty much as expected and everything worked fine except my speed of web slowed to a crawl.    I have disabled all add-ons and reset the Explorer, but that did not help.  Note: I was living slow internet (I'm on cable, by the way) and some other questions that I could not resolved, the main reason I upgraded to 8.1. It resoloved all issues except for the slow internet. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Yes, the problem started then on Windows 8 and continued after the upgrade to Windows 8.1. However, I have since solved the problem, but I'm a little embarrassed to tell how.  After going around the world to try to solve this problem, the solution was right in front of me all the time... the stupid cable modem.  Finally, I noticed that the light on my modem (which is quite old, by the way), were flashes more quickly than they normally.  A call to technical support to my cable company confirmed that I probably have a defective modem. So, I installed a modem new, thinner, and now I am again crusing the net like a champ. The lesson: If your modem is more than five years, beware; they do not last forever. Lesson learned!

    Thank you!

  • Linksys E3000 cause Internet slow speed

I came home yesterday and my Internet is very slow. Later, I discovered that it was because of my Linksys E3000 because if I don't have my E3000 and go directly to a cable modem, it works fine.

I tried to reconfigure, firmware upgrade, factory reset and none of them worked. So, what happens? Any sugestion is much appreciated.

Well, I finally highlight at the origin of this problem. It was RapidDrive from Rapidshare. As soon as I remove this piece of junk on my computer, everything works fine and fast again. I have this program that runs in the background on all my computers. Thus, makes it harder to solve. As soon as I remove, I tried running 8.5 Squeeze, he always gave me the error but my Internet speed is not slowing down.

  • Windows 8 internet slow

I see this question a lot, but I'm unable to find a solution to my problem.

I have a PC and a laptop computer. I just reinstalled Windows 8 on my new PC, a HP HPE-1223(FX-8150 processor), and now cable and wireless connections are super slow. I tested with speed tests on my other PC and almost get 20Mbps on any of them, but this PC with the new facility can handle difficult to 0.35Mbps. So I know the issue is on this PC and that only PC, not a network problem.

This PC came with Windows 7, but when I bought it they had this offer to upgrade to Windows 8 for us $ 15, so I installed windows 8 as soon as I opened it without problem, internet worked well. Now, not so much, help please!

(I reinstalled because I tried to reinstall Windows 7 in a duel boot, but something so bad and messed up and I could not retrieve or update Windows 8, but the reinstallation of Windows 8 went perfect.)

    P.S. I love Windows 8.

In fact, never mind, I fixed mine, uninstalled the device, rebooted, reinstalled the drivers and all is well, once again, sorry to waste time everyone.

  • Sites Internet slow to load, the steam is horrible...

Maybe two weeks Firefox has ceased to be usable for me. Web sites are slow to load, and if I, for example, listening to audio streams in a single window and load one Web page to another, the sound cuts. If I'm watching a video, the version low resolution will load and will buffer, play a little and then set buffer again. It's like using dialup. At first I thought it was a network problem. I restarted but still no luck. Then I tried Safari, and everything is just as fast as it should. For some reason any Firefox thinks that I have a slow network. Anyone know what is happening? Thank you.
