invalid certificate is coming on all files I try to go. That's happened?

I bought and downloaded windows 7 upgrade. I do not know where he was going. Now invalid certificates appears all the time

Open Internet Explorer (only) to http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com . Select CUSTOM and scan | Install all security critical updates available (e.g. KB982381).  If an update of root certificates is listed in the category of optional software updates on the left side of the scan results window, install it to enjoy greater security of IE8 & to correct the problem.

NB: automatic updates offer updates of certificate root on Vista & Win7 default. Windows XP users running IE7 or IE8 must get & install updates to certificate root manually via the Windows Update Web site. Root certificate updates are usually released every 3 or 4 months.

  • I've updated my PC, all files, lost when he said that I would not.

I use windows 8, my computer is very slow so I decided to update it with the function of factory reset, I had already done this successfully once before, with all my files remain intact. This time, however I can't find one of my files available previously. I'm really confused as to why this happened, he said that my files should not be affected, really frustrating. Before I did the reset, I got like 500 main GB free on my hard drive (C :), after reset, I had only 480, with all my files gone, how could be? How can I get less space on my computer if all files are GONE, does not equally absurd, quite * right now, I'd like to get some clarification on this, thanks.

With a refresh, you will not lose your files; with a reset or factory reset, you lose everything. You said you done a factory Reset that is why you lost your files. Such problems are the reasons why you should always have everything that you could not lose relief. You may be able to recover your files from the Windows.old folder. Hope this helps and if you need another post to help and we will be happy to help you.

  • Can I get the certificate used to encrypt a file from a hard drive that has failed?

The files are still there, but vista is not able to repair the disk. I think that the the disk controller is not the real disk. The user who created the ecnrypted files is only on the failed drive. The certificate was not saved.

Wouldn't be much to encrypt a disk, if that were possible.  No, if there is no copy of the contents of the disk encryption key is lost.

  • Cannot open Firefox even after deleting all files and profiles of school boards.

My computer auto-installé the new Firefox version 40.0.2 (and later 40.0.3) and the browser does not open. It worked and I have not received any error message. I tried every fix I can find here, and even manually, I deleted all of my profiles, folders, program files, uninstalled, reinstalled, restarted my computer, and it still not open. I click on the Firefox button in my bar tasks, the charging symbol goes for a few seconds, then more nothing. Firefox opens and runs without any problems on other computer on computer accounts. I even copied the files of Firefox to the another computer account on which it runs and replaced all files on the computer account that Firefox does not on, rebooted and still nothing. I've been dealing with this issue for over 2 weeks now and am very frustrated because I spent hours trying everything I can find.

This fix does not work either... tried previously and tried again. However I FINALLY got my Firefox to work on mine. I ended up finding a virus free online (ESET online scanner) scanner and do a full scan on my computer in order to remove anything that could cause a problem. I also went through all my computer programs and documents and cookies and temporary internet files and deleted everything which is not necessary or if it is no longer used. I thought it must be something else because Firefox has no problems with other users of the computer, and my original profile worked very well under other computer users when transferred manually. I think something was interfering with Firefox, which is why none of the fixes here worked because they targeted Firefox itself when it seems that it wasn't the problem.

  • Just installed CS5 - all files I opened presents itself as a BLACK screen

I'm a complete novice (been using PhotoShop 6.0 until today).  All files I try to open (.tif .jpg .psd) I can't see the photo - can only see BLACK in the window.  File name shows very well.  Under "Layers" next to "Background", I see the thumbnail of the photo.

Just paid $700 for this freaking software and I was waiting with the helpline horrible for an hour and a half.  I am beyond frustrated.  It's probably something simple, I don't know what the problem is.

Thank you in advance for your help!

You can disable OpenGL drawing for now to avoid the problem. (then restart Photoshop to be sure)

But the cause is a bug in the driver of your video card, and you must update your video card driver to pick up bug fixes.

In addition, get the driver updated from the web site of the manufacturers of the GPU (NVidia or ATI), not the computer or the web site of the manufacturer of Council.

    Hello

Maybe if you check Photoshop on the cover page of the victory 8 and choose Run as administrator from the options bar at the bottom of the page and then do the Ctrl Alt Shift.

  • I'm trying to timestamp (RFC 3161) a pdf file using my own timestamp server equipment but still get an error: 'invalid certificate for use.

I'm trying to timestamp (RFC 3161) a pdf file using my own timestamp server equipment but still get an error: 'Invalid certificate for use' (text Original - certificado valido para uso e nao pt_BR:O). How can I get more information on what I'm missing or whats wrong with the certificate?

I found the answer to my problem: it was linked to the plug of the TSA and its attribute 'Extended Key use '.

In any case, thanks for your help. Just to answer the questions:

  • Given that I uninstalled avast! antivirus and installed Bitdefender Internet Security 2015 Thunderbird asked to accept an invalid certificate or not.

Given that I uninstalled avast! antivirus and installed Bitdefender Internet Security 2015 Thunderbird application if you want to accept an invalid certificate when you try to receive new messages.

Please take a look at the two attachments (it seems to be a problem with the download of jpg files).

Obviously Bitdefender manipulates the certificate (no doubt to be able to scan the e-mails via an SSL connection). But I'm not sure.

Would you recommend to confirm an exception for this certificate (permanently)?

    Thanks in advance.

    Greetings

    Marco

    Thank you, christ1.

I discovered that after disabling SSL scanning in Bitdefender, this problem no longer exists.

Maybe this can be seen as a confirmation that the certificate belongs in reality to Bitdefender. Because it is my concern, that is the validation of this certificate to make sure that Bitdefender is the transmitter.

  • Replacement of Certificate SSL - invalid certificate format

Has anyone had luck replacing the default SSL certificate?  I have a cert .pem format with the string to it and is having back and error of invalid certificate format.  I tried out the string just to see and who did not, but it gives me good to go, because I believe that we meet all the requirements of the cert.  Y at - it logs that would provide more info on the issue?

  • Help - all files flat.vmdk showing-1 KB

    Hi all

I am fearing the worst, but thought I'd ask the question in any way.  We had a power outage last night and the UPS has not stopped the our virtual machines (it's a long story).

When the power came back, I tried to restart the virtual machines, but I get the same error for each a saying

    Has no power on VM
Could not power on VM: invalid metadata.
Failed to initialize file ' / vmfs/volumes/xxxxxxxx ': invalid metadata

When I look at flat.vmdk files, it is said that they are 1 KB size and modified on December 31, 1969.

Has anyone ever seen this before and most importantly, can I recover my machines without resorting to a backup?

    TIA

    Welcome to the community,

I've never seen anything like this. I strongly recommend that you immediately open a call with VMware, if there are important data on these virtual machines which cannot be restored from the backup...

  • I downloaded a document as usual and he does not appear in my downloads.  I found in "All Files" in the Finder.  Why isn't in my download so I can attach it to an email?  Help please!

The files I download are not appearing in "downloads".  I found them through Finder in "All Files."  Why they appear in "downloads"?  I need to attach the documents to an e-mail.  Thank you!

Your browser downloads folder location has changed?

    Firefox > Preferences > General > downloads

Safari > Preferences > General > file download location

Chrome > Preferences > see the advanced settings > downloads

As long as you can find the files via the finder you can then simply then drag them in your email.

Thunderbird does not all files except "inbox." and against the info 'aid', there is NO 'account settings' under 'Tools' & I have the latest version of T. I just need to download the SENT MESSAGES, Inbox not only.

Re: Where is 'account settings '.
If you do not see 'Tools', then you do not have your active 'Menu Bar'.
See picture below on the activation of all the toolbars make life easier.

Different methods of location of the 'account settings ':
    Via the toolbar "Menu Bar":

    • Tools > accounts settings

    Through the pane of folders:

    • Right-click on the name of the e-mail account in the folders pane, and then select "settings".

    Via "Menu Icon.

    • Menu icon > Options > account settings

Re: I need to download sent Messages Inbox not only.
E-mail accounts IMAP see a remote view of the files on the server.
You subscribe to view these folders in Thunderbird.
You synchronize directories subscribed for a copy in Thunderbird.
What you do in a folder for example imap: delete, will occur on the server, so viewing via webmail or Thunderbird folders appear identical.

However, in your case, it seems that you have created a POP e-mail account.
E-mail POP accounts can only connect to Inbox server and download server Inbox for the Thunderbird Inbox pop e-mail account.
It's not a quirk of Thunderbird; This is how all Pop mail represents the work.

There is a work around to get "sent" in the folder mail sent from server in Thunderbird. You just do it once, because when you send it through Thunderbird, it will put the e-mails in the folder sent TB pop mail account and not on the server.

Thunderbird creates a "Sent" folder when first send you an email.
So, if you have not yet sent an email, please send one, even if only to yourself.

Then, move all inbox emails in the appropriate folders.
You can create new folders to organize them.

How to create a new folder:

    • Right-click on the name of the e-mail account, and then select "new folder."
    • Give an appropriate file name and click "create a folder".

    When the Inbox is empty:

    • Logon to the Web e-mail account by using a browser.
    • Move all emails "Sent" in the "Inbox".

    In thunderbird:

    • Click on 'Get the message'

all the "Sent" emails must get downloaded from the server Inbox anto your Inbox in Thunderbird.

    • Then move all your emails in the 'Sent' Thunderbird folder.

You should now have all these emails downloaded from the server and display in Thunderbird.

  • When using an accept custom attribute on an input file his show all files rather than the files that I choose (accept = "image/jpeg, image/gif, image/png, image)

Hi, I am trying to use the entry of the file accept to limit the type of file that the user can choose when downloading a file. in fact, I have two problems that I can't understand our:

     1. If i am using the value "image/*" its limit the user to all the images but if i am using a custom
limit e.g. "image/jpeg,image/gif,image/png,image/bmp" its show all the limits in the select box but the
default value for ths user is "All Files". In Chrome and IE10 its working as needed.

     2. When i am trying to limit to "swf" files using the value "application/x-shockwave-flash" its show "All Files".
In Chrome and IE10 its working as needed.

    I use Windows 7.

    Thank you.

Well, it seems you do what it says in the documentation: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/HTML/Element/Input#attr-accept

Firefox actually allow you to drop a folder that is not on the list? In other words, is the problem of acceptance is ignored, or that the filter does not display the dialog box?

Have you had a chance to get all of the bugs in Bugzilla?
