• PSC external - VCSA Gets the invalid credentials

  I recently deployed a PSC external, using the device of VCSA 6.0 U1 recently made public.  Beginning of the PSC external deployment took place without a hitch.  No problem whatsoever.  However, when it comes to then deploy the VCSA with a PSC external, I get the invalid credentials.

  The PSC and VCSA are on the same subnet, and I deploy from my office.  There is no firewall between them and no control of the East-West traffic that could be disturbing the communication.  I can telnet to the PSC to my office on 443.  No internal certs are used, just the standard self-signed certs of VMware.

  I do NOT use the PSC HA config where an F5 (or any other load balancing program) comes into play.  Just a PSC and a device of vCenter (with the same configuration in another data center and related enhanced modes enabled... If I ever get to this point).

  Any ideas?  I think I've exhausted all the Vmkware KB and google this thing to death.

  While this may be caused by an incompatibility of certificate, in my case, it was a problem with the office network.  While port 443 is open to the ESXi host and the PSC external UDP 123 was not, and did not observe in any newspaper, it seems to have been the problem.  NTP on the PSC itself worked fine.

  As a test, I tried to deploy VCSA w/year embedded PSC.  This deployment also failed NTP citing it as a problem.  Changing the setting to synchronize with the host allowed FRO deployment to continue.  If you have a similar problem with invalid credentials, this can be a good test for you as well to make sure that UDP 123 is accessible from your desktop.  I don't know why it should be, but I can only assume that the place from which you are running the installation acts as a proxy for communication of all kinds.

  So in addition to making sure DNS lookup front and rear work correctly, verify the port 443 to the PSC external target host and if these things are good, try to deploy a device VCSA with the PSC incorporated using NTP for time synchronization.  If this fails, you may need to change your deployment location (unless it's easy for you to get this open port).

  Simply, I built a Windows VM base on the same subnet as my other management/infra peripheral, pushed the .iso from a store of data and mounted on this VM and connected to install it there.  Went off without a hitch.

  Gmail recently changed several security options that can block the printer to connect to their servers.

  First, open the following link and ensure that you are connected to the same account that you define for the printer.

  Within the signature in section check that '2-step audit' is defined as 'Off', so make sure that 'Access to less secure applications' is defined as 'Authorized', otherwise, the verification fails.

  Within the activity recent section click on "Devices", if you see a blocked the connection attempt (it will be highlighted in red) click Yes, and then follow the steps in allowing access for insecure applications...

  Once you are running a test for the outgoing user profile and check if the problem resolved.

  Im running Hyperic 5.8.  I'm starting to see this pop up error in the web client of vSphere under cluster/manage/hyperic agents.  It seems to be spreading.  I have looked at HQ, but don't see anywhere a password of the agent, etc. is created.

  Any ideas?

  It could be the credentials of the WINE.  If the password changed on behalf of WINE is used, this could cause the problem.

  I use the latest version of Photoshop CC 2015 x 64.

  When I look under the help tab it shows I am connected to my adobe account. However in the third Ribbon from the top there is a square on the right side icon who had a human on bust. If I click on that which, to my account, Chrome will open often with the message {"error": "invalid_credentials"}. On occasion, it will take me to login to my account page. While not an important issue it is a troublesome problem if I want to have a look at my account. Can someone give me some advice?

  FYI, this seems to be a bug with the 11.1.2.2 webgate apache 2.4.  I raised a SR and move to apache 2.2 with a webgate apache 2.2.

  I installed ORacle XE 11.2.0 on win7 64 bit professional version (using a virtual machine).
  Logs show no errors. lsnrctl server seems ok, tnsping XE ok, connect sys as sysdba using sqlplus works.
  If I try to 'get started' on my browser (firefox latest version) starts with the url:
  http://127.0.0.1:8080/apex/f? p = 4950:1:3808355349156377
  and 3 offer buttons to view storage, sessions and settings and another to begin with request.
  All of them need credentials, but each of them returns "invalid credentials" if I use 'sys' or 'system' with the same password
  I used to properly connect to the database via sql.
  Hopefully, an explanation is little work for you, but it would be a big jump for me.

• Cannot authenticate in directory utility

  I just upgraded to Mac OS X El Capitan Mac Mini and installed the new version of Mac OS X Server.

  I am trying to log on to the directory utility.

  I click on the lock and a popup appears saying: enter the name and password for the node /LDAPv3/127.0.0.1

  I choose as a user "Administrator of the directory" and type a password.

  I get a popup saying "unable to connect to a copy of the connection (5000).

  /var/log/slapd.logcontains this message:

  I would be grateful to better understand what goes wrong and ideas how to fix it.

  The Mac mini has OS X El Capitan 10.11.5 with 5.1.5 server. The Mac Mini also manages email but access to my email account using Mail in OS X El Capitan 9.3 fails on password authentication. Similarly, I can't authenticate for wiki. • XP SP3 to access shared network (Server 2008 R2)

  I have problems with getting a Windows XP SP3 machine to recognize a specific (out of 3) shared folder on a corporate network. Its the only machine that they are unable to access this particular network share since (it just started having a problem after another person cleaned the machine). I checked the user who is logged on to the machine has sufficient privileges on the share and should be able to access via AD, as well as on the action itself. Yet when I try to navigate to the folder it tells me that access was denied. I thought maybe the machine was to be part of a specific group, but this is not the case either.

  Any ideas?

  OK figured this out

  Essentially with the newer versions of Windows, when a computer is joined to the domain, your AD credentials are removed automatically. With XP this is not always the case.

  I ended up remove the profile of users of the connection via the command line. After that, I went to remap and he their credentials. Those she used was more valid. I used my administrator credentials and still no go.

  I finally got to work.  I changed my password on my computer Windows 7 (host).  When you enter the user ID in Remote Desktop, I had to use user domain\username.  It worked finally.
