  After a new installation, with two Service Packs included and all other updates and software, clicking on Netflix in Windows displays the following error message, "invalid Application. Unable to launch ' ' '.

  Silverlight is installed.

  Netflix works on IE and Mozilla.

  I had tried all the solutions listed here and came away empty-handed. For some reason, the update is applied to Windows Media Center via the Update window fails to properly install the Netflix plugin.
