iOS 10 gradation homescreen wallpaper

After upgrading my iPhone to iOS 10, I noticed the gradation of the wallpaper in the home screen. Please refer to the pictures attached - it is clearly visible that the homescreen wallpaper is darker that lock screen wallpaper notwithstanding, it's the same image. Even in the wallpaper settings, it is shown as obscured. I find it quite annoying, but I have not found all the settings related to this darkening. I would be grateful any advice how to get down to this variation. There is also a thread on reddit with the same complaint: https://www.reddit.com/r/iOSBeta/comments/4sb289/bug_why_does_ios_10_darken_my_w allpaper_it_should /

I use iPhone with iOS 10.0.1 5s

I have the same issue, but even more so because the live wallpapers are buggy. Try to set your wallpaper as a direct and then open and close the app Chooser. You will notice that the weak applies to the screenshot, that the system takes.

-All right, so we know we can define a custom image for a homescreen wallpaper.

We can also paint all we want on the said custom image and it will show on the background.

Now for the question. Can we determine the size of the title bar and low status bars to paint ONLY the area that is not covered by them?

I guess that one way would be to take a screenshot of the home screen and perform an image analysis to find the demarcation of the ridge. Would probably apply only to the themes 'stock' as well.

    Hello Bobby.

Thank you for using communities Support from Apple. I know have a problem with the wallpaper on your iPhone, it's not what you expect. The good news is that the next step will be useful to solve your problem by activating the Motion option reduce, as suggested in this article:

Reduce the screen on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch resolution

Note: The prospect of working on a normal photo to zoom somehow (to provide space for the image of "move" when you tilt your device). This zoom can be disabled individually or to reduce the Motion, but you won't have the Perspective option.

Haha never mind. 2 problems, I assumed that the image by default - LandscapeRight.png must be returned and I had by default - Landscape.png which is probably not necessary.

  • format of the clock after upgrading to IOS 10

After the upgrade to IOS 10.0.2on my iphone 6 s the clock passed using two points using a format point.

Language and region are still like before upgrade: Norway.

I tried to change in various other regions which, to my knowledge, uses the same format of the clock, but there is still a point. Is there another way to change this?

    Hi, ferdinanden!

Thank you for reaching out by Apple Support communities. From your post, I understand that your clock is not displayed as expected in the iOS 10. Rather than see a colon, showing time as 07:32, you see just one point, displaying the time as 7.32. I would be happy to offer help!

There could be a few different things going on to cause this, and change your region has been a great first step to understand that and fixing it. Given that this did not help, try the following steps. Before you start, use this article to create a backup of your iPhone: How to back up your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch

    1. Replace it with another under settings > general > language and region. See if that allows you to adjust the way in which the clock is displayed. If so, revert to the language of your choice and see if she spends exactly the point again.
    2. Make sure that the value is automatically enabled under settings > general Date & time
    3. Restart your iPhone by following the steps here: restart your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch
    4. Reset your iPhone settings in settings > general > reset > reset all settings. This will not delete your personal data (such as your photos/videos, contacts, calendar of events, etc.) but it can reset it customizable settings (as the wallpaper / brightness, alert sounds/ringtones, the Date and time settings, etc.) to their default values. It will also remove saved passwords and Wi - Fi networks and all previously used settings APN or VPN.

  • wallpaper iPhone to my market?

I was walking with my iPhone updated to iOS 10.0.2 6s and I noticed that a still image from my library of Photos that I use for my wallpaper was very much moving as if he were to imitate my movements. I have the setting from the point of view on this subject and I noticed that the effect, but it seemed very literally as if he were moving in concert with my market. Almost s if my iPhone was liquid waiting and the photo has been floating in the liquid. I can't reproduce the effect and I can't find a setting or any discussion online that would explain this behavior.

think it was ios7 who wallpapers would pass vs icons when you moved this back and forth that it was a characteristic probably one, that you can disable in the settings

  • Podcast using 1 G of storage iOS 10

Why podcast app using 1 G of storage when I have nothing loaded on this subject? How can I know what 1 G of things is on the app? I had to/Import/Storage settings / manage and it lists apps that I have and how much storage it uses, but when I click on the podcast app it tells me only that I have 1 G of documents & data, but he didn't tell me what data and documents.

I don't have 12G on the ipad and this app takes a lot of space

    Greetings charlymishu,

Thank you for using communities Support from Apple. After reviewing your post, I can tell that you are wanting to know why the Podcasts app uses 1 GB of storage. I know have sufficient on your iPad storage space is vitally important. I will be happy to provide information on this.

If you do not already done, please close force Podcasts and settings on iPad apps and reboot the device. When he's back on the homescreen, please go back and check the amount of storage and see if the amount has fallen to a more reasonable level. If it is not, and since it seems that you are not actually using Podcasts app, one thing I can recommend is to delete the app from your iPad Podcasts. Again, it's something you can do with iOS 10. Once you delete it, you will not be able to use the Podcasts with CarPlay app, but you can reinstall the application at any time, if you wish. See remove the apps Apple integrated from the home screen on your device iOS with iOS 10 for more information.

Force a nearby application on your Mac.

  • iOS10 live wallpaper behaves differently?

Hi, I just got my new iPhone Plus 7 and it seems that the Live wallpaper behaves differently than in iOS9.

Namely, in the old system (on an iPhone 6 more) by varying the pressure on the screen I can control precisely of the wallpaper Live playback speed and easily play to the front/rear.

In iOS 10 (on the new iPhone 7 more) it seems that the reading speed of the Live wallpaper has no can be controlled by the pressure.

Is this normal? Or do I use a screen may be defective? Thank you!

  • music shift 10 iOS App

I use an iPhone 6 now and recently updated to iOS 10. Since the update, whenever I try to skip a song on my Apple's music app, there will be a lag after 4-5 seconds until the song going. I hooked using Bluetooth, to THE and USB, but the delay in the response is the same for all 3.

I must point out that I use the application music from Apple to play the songs I transferred on the iPhone and not streaming.

I've never had this problem of lag with iOS 9 so I guess it's a problem with the latest iOS. Is there anyone who can help me?

    Hey there, raymondbyun!

Thank you for reaching out by Apple Support communities. After reading your post, I understand the songs that you have saved for offline through the Apple music listening take about 4-5 seconds before jumping to the next song. I listen to music on the go and jump songs sometimes, so I know it's important that they jump quickly. I'd be happy to help you!

There are a few steps that I can recommend; Please, try them in the order and test your music application and jumping after each of them. Stop when the problem is resolved.

    1. Exit music following the steps described here: force a nearby application on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

Then, restart your iPhone by following these steps: restart your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch

    2. Uninstall and reinstall the music App Instructions can be found here: remove the apps Apple integrated from the home screen on your device iOS with iOS 10
    3. Disconnect you from iTunes and the App Store, then back, following the instructions in this article: log on with another Apple ID on iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Signature of the iTunes and the App Store will remove your content recorded for listening offline; After that log you back in, you will need to re - download these items, so I recommend you do this step, then only a Wi - Fi connection is available for free.

    4. Reset settings on your iPhone in settings > general > reset > reset all settings. This will not delete any of your personal data (such as photos, contacts, calendar events, reminders, etc.) but allows to convert customizable settings (as your desktop wallpaper and screen brightness, alert sounds, the settings of Date and time, etc.) to their default values. It will also be deleted passwords and registered Wi - Fi networks and previously used the VPN, and APN settings.
    5. Backup your iPhone and restore it to the factory settings. The following article will help you to rise to iCloud or iTunes: How to backup your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch

After the backup is finished, use this article to restore the factory settings: use iTunes on your Mac or PC to restore the iPhone, iPad or iPod to factory settings

Once the restore is complete, configure the iPhone as a new device (i.e. without your backup, at least temporarily). You can connect to iCloud iMessage, FaceTime and iTunes and the App Store with your Apple ID and download songs for offline listening. Test the speed at which the skip function works.

If skip songs works as expected, you can use the following article to restore your backup: restore your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch from a backup

    Good listening!

  • iOS 10 zoom causing the shift & blocking problem

    Hello

    I have several devices running iOS 10 ranging from a 5 iPad iPhone mini 4, to iPhone and iPad Air 2.  I noticed that when the zoom toggle in the settings is enabled (whether zoomed or not), I feel an enormous amount of lag, tactile and inaccurate affecting blocking problem.  No matter if I am completely zoom in or zoom out (double-tap with 3 fingers), a simple navigation creates all sorts of problems for me.  I will describe a few questions I meet below. ;

    (1) contact command will be sometimes not. Even simple measures such as scrolling through the different pages on the homescreen to pinch to zoom in the image and Safari have problems

    (2) when zoomed in, many times, my button are inaccurate. For example, a major problem that I have is that in the mail application. If I drag to the left to remove an e-mail, I get sporadic movements. In most cases, I have to slide slightly to the right of the line to do a full sweep. In other cases, sometimes touching a button like 'OK' or by pressing another button would not register. I may support slightly above, below, or around her to enroll. It is extremely annoying. In particular, I have this problem with my iPad 2 Air. I'm leaning towards it being a defective scanner.

Please note that when the zoom toggle is set to off in the settings app, I have no problem with delay or lack of response.

Anyone else have this same problem?

I'm having this same issue. Both on my iPhone and my iPad. The two running iOS 10 for now. The problem is not related to iOS 10 in my opinion, because I had this problem for awhile now.

Affecting the zoom toggle OFF makes the question to go far, but of course that's not the solution. There is a reason why I need this feature to zoom. Deactivation of the zoom feature makes it very difficult for me to use my iPhone and iPad in some circumstances. So, I find myself constantly switch the zoom feature and LEFT. Very annoying. I hope that we will have a fix for it any time soon.

  • 10 iOS safari screen do not scroll when you type text

After the iOS10 update, Safari is not scroll when I m typing text in a field text as here in a forum. I have to scroll the screen by hand for the position where type I´m. it occurs only in Safari, for example Pages works fine.

I use an iPad Air1, but have the same on my iPhone running iOS 10 6.

Is there any solution for this? Thank you.

    Hello Toy4ever,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community Support from Apple. I know how it is important to be able to effectively tap on your iPad, and I want to help you get things working again.

What I would recommend starting with a reboot of base and if the problem continues, you can reset the settings on your iPad. Despite the fear two-step attention, this does not affect your data. All of your content will remain intact.

You can always save your settings in iTunes or iCloud data before doing this reset. This link will guide you through backup if you choose to do so: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203977

What this does is actually reset some of your settings to factory default. This removes all data and applications, photos or contacts, but it removes all of your preferences for the Wi - Fi, Bluetooth, do not disturb, Notifications, general, sounds, contact ID, brightness & wallpaper and privacy, so we will have to define these things upwards after this reset.

Do this please go to settings > general > reset > reset all settings.

If the problem persists, the entire community is here to help.
    Best regards

  • Closing and switching apps iOS on IPad Mini 4 10

I just upgraded 10 IOS on my IPad Mini 4 and I can find a way to close or switch to the applications that are running in the background. When I double tap on the Home button, it just put me back to the homescreen of IOS 10. I no longer see the applications that are running on my IPad. I can't switch between apps or apps close apps. My Home button seems to work for everything, but not with their closing or switching applications.

How can I get that back with the Home button?

According to iOS 10 User Guide that he must always behave in this way:

    Switch between applications

You can easily switch between the applications you use.

See open applications. Double-click the Home button to bring up your open applications in the app switcher. Swipe left or right to find out more. To switch to another app, tap it.

    https://help.Apple.com/iPhone/10/#/iph1a1f981ad

    Try this:

Hold down these keys at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears: a) the sleep/wake button and the low Volume button (7 iPhone iPhone 7 and more) or b) the sleep/wake button and the Home button (all other models)

If that doesn't help, try a system restore. First save your device via iTunes. Also import your photos on your computer and copy all the data if possible. Reconstruction of the support first test and test. If this does not help, you may need to restore as a new and reconfigure from scratch as the backup may be damaged. It is important to have your photos and your saved data separately from the backup. Here are the steps for a restoration:
