iOS 9.1 why my music files disappeared

Hello

This morning on the school bus ride, I plugged my headphones so I could listen to music, as I did for the last five years. However, when I opened my music application, all files are gone! He has not yet shown an interface. The screen I saw was something like

My music

Don't miss a beat

Find your Favorites in iTunes, then come back and enjoy here.

And at the bottom are four tabs to the menu: 'My music', 'Playlists', 'Radio' and 'connect '.

I have no idea how to find the recorded music. To my disbelief, looking at my storage menu, I can not even find the app music in the list of applications.

What can I do to restore my music? I tried my phone off tension and return back, I tried to do a sync to iTunes. I don't want to restore my iPhone because I have a few games that have save local files to my phone, so I would lose all data.

I use an iPhone 6, bought in October 2015, running iOS 9.1. 64 gigabytes of memory, the network is Verizon.

Help, please

Tim

This just happened to me, too. So frustrating. I was listening to my music at 08:00 and when I tried again at 12:00, it was gone! It's the third time that's happened to me, but there's no predicting it. II have only the songs that I bought or ripped from my CD and Ihave never used music from Apple.

I tried calling support, but they are closed.

iPhone iOS 9.2 6.

  • Why my music files won't import into library WMC in iTunes/Real Player?

Lost my WMP (don't know how or why) but reinstalled WMP 11 for XP. Lost my library WMP, then tried to import iTunes & libraries files Real Player, only 1 file imported (MP3).  None of the other imported (AAC files). This is a file of this kind of thing or what I have wrong?

Thanks Sicard - I did as you describe it, but worked eventually the problem was the file format AAC, which were my other audio files.
I've converted to mp3 and WMP imported immediately without further problems.
It was difficult to know, however, because I could not find anywhere in aid "WMP", which says that AAFC is not supported, after all, is a common file type and I thought it would have been mentioned.
Problem solved now, though, even if it's a nuisance having to convert the type of file if I want to import into WMP. Probably one of the others as my audio file player will default for this reason.

Lately I had problems with my files trying to disappear and then reappear. I'm going to type a word document and save it in a specific folder. Alas, it still does not. The way I need to find it is to go into word and hope that the document is in open documents recently. Otherwise, I'm screwed and have to wait for it to magically appear again.

  • Why do my files disappear? SOLVED. Cause - * outlook * is out of control, to call

I recently started to receive messages pop up at the bottom right of my screen stating: "current operation has failed..." "It happened when opening my mailbox, my delete and my junk mail. And sometimes at the same time all my aliases and their records will disappear leaving only my main address. It all mysteriously reappears, but I don't know if it's something I did to try to get that back, or if it's just random.

Everything was going well for a while. He seems to have nothing to do with something I've done. Last night Thunderbird started asking my password again and rejected. I didn't know there was a synchronization process. Now, I can not my mail on my iPad. Tried to reset, but can not get mail on each device. I have Thunderbird 38.3.0. Tried to start the synchronization process. Refused password but when I asked to reset I thought that the account already exists. Cannot get by e-mail. Cannot reset. Account exists but does not work. Very frustrated.

  • Music files are deleted

When I RIP and synchronize music CDs using w.m.p to my mp3 player why some music files that are already in the reader get deleted? I do not ask or tell him to delete the music files that are there. He removes them automatically. It's very frustrating

    Hello Tommytwo,

Thank you for your response. To check, files are removed from the Windows Media Player library? The problem occurs with all files or only the files ripped from a CD?

During the extraction process, Windows Media Player makes a copy of each song, it saves on your hard drive and then add it to your library.

Try changing the settings of manual synchronization is set to automatic, and then try to synchronize the files manually and check if the problem occurs.

For more information about synchronizing to a device in Windows Media Player, you can view the link below:

I hope this information is useful.

    b. Select all files in the folder and then click on Delete on the file menu.

Note: You don't have to remove the folders that are in this folder.

    c. restart Windows Media Player.

Note: Windows Media Player automatically rebuilds the database.

  • My music files are suddenly appeared in my photos file WHY?

All my photos are stored in the folder my pictures - all my own song compositions are stored in the My Music folder.

From one day to the next, some of my music files now appear in my pictures.

There has been no change in program or software and I'm the only user on this computer - I would like to know why this happened - and how I reverse the error.

I would also like to know why customers have to spend time correcting errors service providers. I expect the community to answer this question - it is more a question for Microsoft Management to ignore.

I suspect that this is your image library (not the folder) that has the problem.  The libraries are not records, but instead, they are more like research on the web.  They scan the many areas and show all found in a single consolidated list.

I would be with the right button of your photo library, choose Properties, and then see if the places of music is listed in the areas listed that get scanned for content.

  • Why a recent update to all my music files?

I had a Windows Update on March 2, 2012. Subsequently, I found that 75% of my music files had been moved on my hard drive. The artist folders have been created that did not exist before and songs have been automatically moved into these folders.

I have manually organize files of music on my computer and don't appreciate not anyone else think that they know better how to organize my music than I.

How can I prevent updates to take control of my music files?

    Hi ralpert,

    ·         Have updates you installed?

I suggest you perform a scan by using the Microsoft safety scanner.

Note: The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

  • If I can put a music file in which will start playing when the mail is opened

I want to put a music file in the body of the email which will start playing when the emaii is opened please let me
whether it is possible in Thunderbird mail
    Thank you

    See this: http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?f=39 & t = 79970 & start = 0

I must say that I am not convinced that by using the specified HTML it could succeed to set the file musical itself. He would probably play if the sender displayed to himself and he opened on his own computer, because the file is local (always assuming that its authorized e-mail client reading.)

Note that Thunderbird will not particularly play music embedded in messages, so if someone you send to use Thunderbird, they don't hear it.

It is one of the reasons why I use Thunderbird. Besides having always cut sound. It can be very annoying having noise suddenly pop out of your computer in the workplace.

  • Space clearing on Mac (music files)

    MacBook Air.

I'm running out of disk space and have a lot of music files on my laptop.  I bought some music obviously sustained iCloud and I also mp3 files downloaded from the majority of sites.  On top of the mp3, I have a lot of m4a files not purchased.  Is it possible to remove the computer without losing my iTunes library? I ask because I once tried to play music after you have removed and he had said that the file could not be found because it does not exist.  If I'm not mistaken, it is because it was an mp3 file and not a m4a file.  I wanted to just some clarification on this issue.  To summarize, I can't have supported iCloud stuff because it was not purchased.  Here's how it works well?

Thanks for the help if you can

    Anthony

Yes and no and Yes and no.

You should not use iCloud as storage for your only copy of the media. iCloud is a convenience to keep access to the House, but not an excuse for a good backup or archiving.

Apple has been unfortunately simplified terminology insofar as it's very confusing when you have only one name to several things like (computer applications) and applications on a mobile device that are not interchangeable - at least not yet. A "iCloud" is when you buy pieces of Apple and there is always a copy in iCloud. Well, I always say, but there is no guarantee which is why you need a copy at home.  Then there's iCloud subscription services include Apple looking at what you have on your computer and put a copy in your space on iCloud (should not be confused with another iCloud space which is your 5 GB backup space) reserved for the music.  You can subscribe to the Match or Apple music and have a copy available here (but I wouldn't trust them with my only copy anyway).

Of course the game services include no video which is a Devourer of real space on a computer.

To keep it simple, but several external drives (a backup) and move your iTunes library on the external drive.  In order to make light and portable computers, that they put in the SSDS that are expensive, so they put those too small to hold a large part of the media that they encourage you to buy from them. So you need to buy external drives you will need to then bored ears, defeating the entire purpose of the light and portable computers in the first place.  The iCloud service is partly in response to this, but read the small characters and Apple itself tells you to keep your own backup copy.

Moving a library: quick response if you use preferences by default iTunes settings: copy the folder integer iTunes (and to ensure that all of its subfolders and files) intact at the other disk, hold down the option/alt key (shift on Windows) keys to start iTunes and on request to select a library select iTunes Library.itl file in the copied folder.

  • Details of music file missing in Windows Explorer

Hi, I had my files of music for a long time, nothing has changed and I have something different in terms of music players.

The details of my music (artist, song etc.) files disappeared in Windows Explorer, but they appear in Winamp.
I am also unable to change file details. They are all for most .mp3 files

When you open windows Explorer, check the option views and assign details so you should be able to see the file name, size, type, artist, Album title, year, track number and duration.
You can open the player windows media, go to the library and check if you can change each file that are listed there.

  • How can I recover music files lost due to synchronization with another device?

My music files have been on my Ipod Touch, then during what I thought, it was a normal synchronization, all my music disappeared from my IPod. I tried to sync again and it is still missing. Also, all my music went from ITunes.

    My computer is a PC.

Is it possible for me to recover the files?

    Hi clowdnyne,

With a few exceptions, all the music that you purchased through the iTunes Store, or when you use iTunes on your Windows computer or on your iPod touch, can be downloaded from the store once again, if it is still available on the store. See this article - download your past purchases.

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

  • How export a classical music files to a flash drive in the right order?

How can we keep the music files in the correct order when exported from a playlist on an external drive? Once the external hard disk, they are all mixed up!

The order of storing files on a drive doesn't really matter.  When you view the player using the Finder, they are sorted and displayed based on the current state of the Finder window (for example, alphabetically by filename or sorted by file size).  You don't see the files in any real order.

What is the real question you ask?  Why is it necessary to have music files stored in a certain order?

  • Download of music files - Error Message "invalid file name".

I am downloading of music files on my site of various files on my PC.  I have some files in Rhapsody, some Amazon.mp3, some in my music, etc.

Some songs go through fine, others do not, even though I can't play them.  When they do not go through, I get this error message: file name is not valid.

I tried to rename the files so they are shorter (something to be less than 240 characters?), and I tried to copy on the desktop (did not work).  I tried to change the permission settings, but I don't think that's more the problem.

Any ideas why or how do to solve this problem?

    Thank you!

    Hello JBoo91,

This looks like a problem with your web site hosting company.
Did you check with them to see if they allow that post music file size?
They can put a limit on the size of the file that you can download.
