IOS iPad Mini Gen 1 7.1.2 upgrade to ios 8.3

I currently use the iPad 1 Gen with iOS 7.1.2 mini. Is it possible if I update to iOS 8.3, during the last generation iOS already issued? Thanks before.

No, it isn't. The iPad Mini will support iOS 9.2.1 and if you try to update, then you can update to the latest iOS only.

Tried to update my Mini iPad for iOS 9.3.5 but it won't allow me. When you go to "Software Update" in the settings it is said that my software is up to date. Yes, I've refreshed. Any ideas? I however updated my iPhone 6 s more iOS 10 and my Macbook to Sierra, but by an email from early release that Apple sent me since I was on the beta program. Not sure if this has something to do with it.

My guess is that you have 1st gen Mini. It is not compatible with iOS 10:

  • Closing and switching apps iOS on IPad Mini 4 10

I just upgraded 10 IOS on my IPad Mini 4 and I can find a way to close or switch to the applications that are running in the background.  When I double tap on the Home button, it just put me back to the homescreen of IOS 10.  I no longer see the applications that are running on my IPad.  I can't switch between apps or apps close apps.  My Home button seems to work for everything, but not with their closing or switching applications.

How can I get that back with the Home button?

According to iOS 10 User Guide that he must always behave in this way:

    Switch between applications

You can easily switch between the applications you use.

See open applications. Double-click the Home button to bring up your open applications in the app switcher. Swipe left or right to find out more. To switch to another app, tap it.

    Try this:

Hold down these keys at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears: a) the sleep/wake button and the low Volume button (7 iPhone iPhone 7 and more) or b) the sleep/wake button and the Home button (all other models)

If that doesn't help, try a system restore. First save your device via iTunes. Also import your photos on your computer and copy all the data if possible. Reconstruction of the support first test and test. If this does not help, you may need to restore as a new and reconfigure from scratch as the backup may be damaged. It is important to have your photos and your saved data separately from the backup. Here are the steps for a restoration:

  • iPad Mini (4G) to iOS 9.3.1; Workaround to verification error?

What is the last successful solution to update an iPad Mini (4G, Verizon) on iOS 9.3.1 and work around the error checking? I downloaded the iOS 9.3.1 but installation still gives me a check error due to the absence of Internet connection, which is not a valid error that I don't have an Internet connection.  I first tried to install directly via WiFi with the power supply connected to the iPad.  I then updated my iTunes on my MacBook, connected to the iPad and it says iOS 9.2.1 is the last that is not.  I am doing a full backup on my MacBook and will proceed to restore if this is my only option.  Is this my only option?  Thank you!

According to this, Apple pulled the update problem and has not yet released the latest patch for it.

  • iPad Mini / iOS iPhone 6 9.2.1 stuck on the logo Apple - Exchange problem?

Yesterday, my iPhone 6 and my iPad Mini randomly froze, containing just the Apple logo. I can only imagine that some sort of automatic update has happened that I was not aware of--probably iOS 9.2.1. I could not turn on the unit and hard reset did not work. I was unable to restore the device using iTunes. I took them to my local "Genius Bar" and both devices have been restored to factory default.

When I returned home, I tried to restore to the last backup via iTunes devices and restoring the iPhone does not.

I have reset the new iPad to factory default and added my email Exchange and Google accounts. I also added back Magic Puzzles and Flipboard. The iPad has worked for awhile, but sometimes at night it froze on the Apple logo and began to beep (which woke me up).

This morning, I reset the new iPad to factory default and added my Google email account. It worked without problem. I added my Exchange account and the mail application has worked for about a minute, then the iPad displays the Apple logo. I did not try this with my iPhone because I don't have the time to sit in the restaurant business, plus I need to use it as a phone.

Is there a problem with the application mail, Exchange and iOS 9.2.1? I, like many others, rely on my iPhone and it is totally useless without my Exchange account for work.

I would go to the support area of the developer, in this case > https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Outlook-for-iOS-and-Android-Help-Center - cd84214e-a5ac-4e95-9ea3-e07f78d0cde6? ui... and ask people who are familiar with using Outlook

  • Mini iPad 1st gen replacement

    Hey everybody!

I'm new here, so if this was already asked, wanting to send me the link instead. In any case, I had a Mini iPad 1st Gen of my mobile operator last October 2015. However, there was a problem with it's touchscree. It was so touching. I went to the Apple Store here in the Philippines and said they will be resets my device to see if the problem will disappear. He did... for a while. Now, he's back, so I want a replacement. However, Apple did extract iPad Mini 1st generation, right? So, I always will get a replacement knowing that my device is not sold in stores over? DRM for the answers.

They still have units of replacement available services.

  • 9 brick iOS update my iPad Mini

I have an iPad Mini 1st generation 64 GB WiFi model, which is stuck in a boot loop. It worked very well with iOS 8.4.1 build 12: 321. I upgraded to iOS9.2 build 13 c 75, but many of my applications were not charged despite having used iTunes with a local backup/restore my MacBookPro (mid 2010 13 "El Capitan running). I then tried to restart the device and decided to do a complete restore of the system via iTunes. While I was doing my system recovery/restore when downloading the iOS that my connection from Time Warner Cable is out for me (as it has particular fact for a lot of people in my area at this time as ISP). My iPad is now stuck in a loop of starting up with the Apple logo showing and then it restarts. I get the iTunes error 4005 and have tried all the things listed on the support page for this error, but also to take it to my local Genius Bar. I am still convinced that this error is entirely software related and because of recent changes with how Apple sign their iOS IPSW to install the OS on their devices.

Apple support, if you read this answer please with a time table for when you create a way for which authorized users can re-sign borked iOS devices and get them running again so they are not left with a brick or a $ $ "repair" which is actually a replacement $100. Also, feel free to send me an email if you want to discuss this issue separately. I understand that privacy and security are involved in it so I want to respect that you can and it will solve as needed even if it is in a public forum).

Yet once again, I assure you that this error is by no fault of mine and am fairly certain that the problem lies in the iCloud of Apple and/or Apple authentication for devices processes. I can't be the only one dealing with this issue, and I would be interested to see if others on this community have similar problems. Please post here if you do, because I think that most messages will help Apple to understand how many people need a real resolution of this issue.

Apple, this can only arise under a problem while iOS updates roll faster and the update is practically necessary. (I have an iPhone 6 and 3 both Mini iPad and I leave them on iOS 9.2 instead of iOS 9.2.1 hoping to find a solution to this particular problem). Update alerts come to me at least every day. I continue to say no, and you're getting pretty annoying. I would like to know that there is a little more stability in environments before upgrading.

Apple support do not go to see this and to provide you with anything whatsoever. I have a Mini 16 GB iPad, who owns the iOS 9.2.1. The issue that caused your boot loop isn't the iOS, but internet disruption admitted that you had. What happened when you brought the device to your Genius Bar appointment? Apple has not any changes to the way they sign their updates to iOS, what would make you think that?

To be honest, I don't expect the iPad Mini (1st generation) for more updates, but this is my opinion. While mine is a few problems with multitasking, I hope it's because the processor and the most recent iOS. There comes a point difficult to manipulate this need for the processor. If you haven't tried, you should put the device into Recovery Mode and to update. If you cannot update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

Ask other people to post here is not what anyone to help you. If you want Apple to hear your question/problem, you use the feedback to http://www.apple.com/feedback page and click the box in the matter.

  • Why my iPad mini will not upgrade to IOS 9.2

My iPad Mini (the first edition) does not level beyond 9.1 IOS and when I try, it says my software is up to date on my iPad and my computer, it says that my software is up to date. My iPad mini also continues to display this message, "a new update of iOS is now available. Please update the iOS beta 9. "But when I update my iPad, nothing is there.

    Hello

Try a reboot press & hold the power button / stop & menu button

Hold both down until you see the apple logo.

    Then try update.

    See you soon

  • I've updated to the latest version of the software iOS overnight last night and now I can't access email on my iPad mini or Safari. When I go into the settings, click the software update that is displayed simply endless turns.

I've updated to the latest version of the software iOS overnight last night and now I can't access email on my iPad mini or Safari. When I go into settings, a notice is displayed under the general rubric that there is 1 available software update, but when I click on the link for the software update, it runs just endlessly. I am not able to connect to the WiFi (nothing happens when I click on the WiFi button). Did not have this kind of problem before. Thanks for any idea.

    Hello

Try a reboot press & hold the power button / stop & menu button

Hold the two for up to 30 seconds until you see the apple logo.

Then try update on your WiFi

  • Unable to connect to the internet with iPad mini, iOS 9.2, while I can with my old MacBook, OS (10.75).

I'm away from home at a place which provides the free wifi connection without password.  My old MacBook with Mac (OS 10.75) is connected to the internet without any problem here. My iPad mini iOS 9.2 cannot, and they are many around here. What should I do besides take a hike outdoors?

Don't know how this issue would be related to products that we support in this forum... AirPort Express, AirPort Extreme and AirPort Time Capsule below... but we will try to help you get started in the right direction.

Start by looking at this Apple support document:

If still no luck, you will receive a much more informed response if you post in the forum to support iPad. The link is here:
