  Hi, Ahmed.

  If you use the VCS-E with the option of dual interface for NAT with all of a communication interface,

  the internet and your internal network must go to the _public_ ip address, not the private sector

  one. If it's not only on the firewall, but also the destination of the area on the VCS - C.

  Regards to your firewall, that depends on what must have configured your firewall.

  Some firewalls (or at least admins/users) seem to have problems getting the vcs - e accessible from inside on the

  external ip address. If there is a problem, you must use the secondary interface of the vcs and set a new

  DMZ.

  Hello. In Main.mxml, I control < mx:Label id = "address" / >.
  In the src folder, a subfolder of components in which I have a component.mxml file where I "address.text" of reference there. I get the error: 1120: access of undefined property address.
  I'm obviously something wrong, but I thought that all the control of mxml tags are objects of their respective class instance and all of these classes are public and can be referred through the application?

  Hello

  You must create an instance of the class to access its properties/components right? You can try to access the address using Application.application.address label. Application.application is always refers to the instance of the application of the page class.

  I have a control of VCS and Express that seems to work fine with normal endpoints.

  Also, Movi users can register from the inside to the control without problem.

  I areas, configuration etc. correctly I think.

  There is no option of dual nic.

  This will cause no problem checking out movi?

  Yes, using a 1:1NAT with the highway you need a key to option DOUBLE NIC. It will allow the option configure the NAT STATIC address in IP field configuration.

  With this highway configuration would come to know the NAT address.

  If you collect the newspapers, then you will see the message subscribe however if you collect the wireshark traces or MOVI/Jabber client logs you will see the jabber trying to send enrollment message to the private ip address of the highway and not NAT'ed ip, then the record will get failed.

• Component of addresses with the syntax of the string in QML

  I want to loop on about 50 components manually created in qml. They have IDS as "comp1", "comp2", "comp3" and so on. So I thought I could use the following syntax within the loop

  ["comp" + i] .property

  to meet an items property, but it does not work.

  Its strange because this syntax works when you access properties in qml:

  Console.log (main.testProperty) and

  Console.log (hand ["testProperty"]) is the same and works

  Any idea?

  OK, its is not possible, but I found another way to get the child to the components of a container:

  Container.Controls gives a table of all children. Now, I can easily loop with myContainer.controls [i] through all children of the container a set of properties.

  Very convenient.

• VCS Expressway outside to endpoints internal call

  I have a new implementation where internal control 1 to VCS in LAN and VCS Expressway in DMZ 1.

  VCS Expressway has an IP public address/NAT.

  Currently, we have a group of VC endpoint, each endpoint has a public IP/NAT to the local network, to allow internet to make H.323 call directly by public IP address of the composition of the endpoint.

  My question is, after having implemented VCS Expressway in DMZ, how do the numbering plan at each endpoint internal VCS Highway outside call? Do I still need to give to each endpoint an ip/NAT publich.

  A much simpler and in my opinion, more elegant and more scalable solution would be not to use IP addresses for calls, but to allocate and register outcomes with E.164 alias. That way you all you need is the internal IP address.

  So the outer ends may, in this case, call your settings using the [email protected] / * / or [email protected] / * /-E_IP_address.

  Internal assessment criteria can call each other using alias only for as long you have the rules of research in place, and cannot therefore have the external ends you will allow to record with you VCS-E for one reason or another.

  If you have the outcomes of Polycom external with the old version of the software that does not support Annex O URI component, then it's very simple to include a transformation of prior research on the VCS-E which will allow these settings call using owners 'numbering URI "; VCS-E_IP_address ##Alias - and if you, on the odd occasion, a final point which cannot use anything other than IP addresses, you can configure the alias of relief on the VCS-E to point to a specific or a standard automatic on a MCU, purpose etc.

  A dial plan using as above will also allow you to use DHCP addresses, the alias remains static, and that's what counts, addresses much simpler to give to people. e.g. 123456 is much easier to remember than 202.138.98.23 etc, not to mention the IPv6 addresses, and because you save your settings with domain name, and then customers SIP will also be able to connect very easily.

  We are developing a new video network with VCS control and 2 highways of VCS. 1 expressway stressed the public internet address face and 2nd Expressway face partner network.

  Requirement: Internal SIP endpoint need dial IP address public (via Highway 1) and the IP address of the partner (via Highway 2). VCS control configured mode "calls to unknown IP address" to "Indirect".

  The two highways set up for 'Request to the unknown IP' mode to 'lead '.

  There is research on the VCS control rules to find the IP address.

  Priority 1 for IP address via 1st Highway

  Priority 2 for Ip address of partner via Highway 2.

  The two numbering IP addresses work, but component partner / IP address takes about 38 Sec to finish for the configuration of the call.

  When I look at the history of calls on the VCS control, I can see even for the search for the IP address of partners, 1 internet search Expressway and could not reach the IP address and then start to search on the highway of VCS partner and find the Ip address, like that it takes more time to complete the call.

  Sometimes, it is time and couldn't make a call of IP address to the IP address of the partner.

  Hi FC,.

  You can solve this problem by creating a subarea on the VCS control where the subzone membership rule contains subnets with the range of the IP intern (s). For subareas containing the IP address ranges, IP addresses that fall within these ranges is considered known to the VCS, and when endpoint composed one of these addresses IP control VCS will try to set up the call to the IP address itself rather than attempt to transmission by proxy, the call through highway.

  To do this, you must also a rule of search "AnyIPAddress" on your VCS control that points to the local area.

  For reference, I recommend you read through the "Component IP" section in the Administrator's guide from the VCS for X 7, which explained further on the subject.

  Out of curiosity, why you prefer calling IP addresses rather than h.323/SIP URI?

• When writing an F9 email no longer displays the address book unless in safe mode, how do I solve this problem?

  I tried to search the frequently asked questions and did a search first. It did not work, what I found F9 turns the initial contacts on and outside, but does not solve the problem with the component being wrong.

  Until a very recent update (last week or two at the most) when I type writing, the contacts pane in the window of writing have shown my address book. Now it shows some kind of research, that I can't use because I have to see all the entries to see which ones I want to send an email. In some cases, I have multiple entries for a person based on their having several email for different types of e-mail addresses. Try to remember those who want DOESN'T WORK for me. I can't get this behavior in safe mode. As an alternative, I need Thunderbird to save my setting of safe mode, so I don't have to reconfigure the SafeMode whenever I have to restart windows or restart Thunderbird. I currently come in default safe mode

  I tried to remove and then install an older version of Thunderbird and the pane bad contact on the left was there. I can't find any setting to change the part of that wrong at the old I need. I would rather not try to reinstall win7 pro from scratch for this problem, assuming that would fix it.

  It was very strange. Now things work properly and I don't know why. I want to thank everyone for their help. The image shows the first letter of the contact you want on screen messages write with the address list. Before it wasn't to show a list of addresses, just search options to search for address books. I think I'm more confused then I was before. I'll try a reboot and see if the message of Scripture remains fixed.

  I assume you are using Windows 7 or 8/8.1 and have a recent version of Thunderbird, or the latest version.

  There seems to be two parties to your problem.
  (1) I guess you lost your bar menu and your toolbar of the address book which is usually at the top of the address book window.
  Try this. Open the address book. If it is already open, click on the window to make it active. Press the ALT key, then let go. The menu bar should appear. However, it is not permanent yet. Click on the Menu display-toolbars bar to make it permanent. Then click on Tools-Address Book display-toolbars toolbar for your tools for adding new contacts to show.

  (2) I also guess that you can't see the e-mail addresses, you may have access in the past.
  Try this. Click on view-page-directory component. A group of experts is expected to open to the left which has your different address books. Click on each of them in turn, and you should see your e-mail addresses reappear at some point.

  VIEW - put page to ensure that the two component directory and contact component is checked.

  Then select your address book, mode - SORT BY, and then select descending or ascending your preference.

  If this does not work, maybe download a picture of what it looks like to (smudge addresses for privacy).
