IP phones direct call - only 1 DN to be isolated from the network

Hey,.

Ok. It is a very simple and indeed a pretty basic question. Im just get confused what doing. Therefore, I'm all messed up. That's what I need-

I have a CUCM 8.6.2 running on an MCS. I PRI E1 line works smoothly with all IP phones. All IP phones are part of The PT inside. The voice gateway is configured under Internal-CSS ... (IInternal-CSS consists of In-house-PT)

Now, there is this 1 user of management higher (for example: DN 100) - are his requiremnets.

  • No intern should be able to call him
  • It should be able to make the PSTN calls
  • It should be able to receive PSTN calls

No idea how to implement it. Any help will be appreciated

Kind regards

Ophelia

To achieve this, you need managers DN in a TICKET, for example named Manager_PT, which is not seen in other phones CSS (device and/or line depending on your configuration). Then select on the VGW entering CSS which can see the Internal_PT and the Manager_PT. From your description it looks like you need to create a new CSS for this example named Inc_PSTN_GW_CSS.

Be sure to note all the useful messages.

  • With only no load and no response from the key enter

My phone does not have a charge.  Loss of power even when not in service.  Also the button to change the screens is not as responsive or doesn't work at all.

Take a look at this for a few troubleshooting suggestions.

If your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch won't charge - Apple Support

This can give a try to the question of the responsiveness of the button. I know you need the button to do it, but give it a try.

Try a forced reboot. No data is lost during this procedure. Hold on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears on the screen.

If the device still won't hold a charge, you should make an appointment at the Apple Store and ask them to evaluate the device for you.

    Hi all

I use a Packard Bell laptop and you connect via my PCI-E NIC Realtek RTL8192SE Wireless LAN 802.11n chip. As the title says, my network connection drops every hour 1-5 or so and once that he can't not reconnect until I have reset the router (superhub Virgin Media). It's obviously very disturbing other people in my house (we have more than 20 devices on the network). I tried to solve the problems and search but to no avail.
List of problems and possible causes:
-Sometimes after the reset of the router I and other members of the House will get a message saying: "Windows has detected an IP address conflict, please contact your network administrator." I presume that was the problem but I tried to use a static IP address out of the reach of all other devices and booking a lease on the router configuration that gave me the IP address I booked, but I was always began after a matter of a few hours.
The event logs are shown in their order of appearance:
    Event ID: 8033
    Description:
The browser has forced an election on network \Device\NetBT_Tcpip_{EE16D38E-6891-40EE-AC88-36E621199DF8} because a master browser was stopped.
    Event ID: 4199
    Description:
The system detected an address conflict for IP address 0.0.0.0 with the system having the hardware address 00-00-00-00-00-00 network. Operation of the network on this system may be disrupted as a result.
    Event ID: 7042
    Description:
The computer browser service has been successfully sent a stop command.
The given reason was: 0 x 40030011 [OS: network connectivity (planned)]
    Event ID: 7036
    Description:
The support TCP/IP NetBIOS service entered the stopped state.
Generally, the problem seems to be the TCP/IP NetBIOS being stopped, but I changed all the power settings which would result in the browser of the computer stopping. Originally the error codes for the logoff were entirely event 4199 but some tweaking has stopped this error message displayed as often.  Sometimes the error code 4199 does not appear in the event logs when the connection is dropped, leading me to think that this is not like a problem. I could very well be wrong.

    Hello

    Check out this site
    http://www.EventID.NET/display.asp?a...s&EventID=8033

The 8033 event don't would be not the cause of your connection dropped, but rather the result of it. I guess you lose your connection, the laptop is unable to contact the master browser, and if she chooses a new master browser (himself). For more information on how this works a check out Microsoft How Computer Browser Service Worksdocument.

What are the events preceding the 8033? You have a 4202? Description is:

The system detected that network adapter
    \DEVICE\TCPIP_{0E5CF2F9-A3AB-488E-997D-87C59FB17453}
was disconnected from the network, and the
    adapter's network configuration has been
    released.

Looks like you are using a wired and not wireless. When your connection drops, you lose your link light? If the link light is on, I'd want to reinstall the NIC driver or maybe reimage the laptop. If the link light is disabled, I would look on the side material more closely. Are laptops that work the same model?

If you look at your diary of events, how many times do you have the 8033? It always happens at the same duration and/or frequency, or is it pretty random?

This seems to be a strange conicidence with the ringing of the phone. It seems that events are the normal sequence in final display turned off power hibernation mode and "standby mode". It would still be nice to know where I can watch the codes as the Type of Source of Wake (3), partner attributes (82432) and error Code (0 x 40030011). I found a few sites that partly explain the codes, but not them.

How to resolve conflicts of duplicate addresses media access control . This article explains the different methods by which you can follow to the bottom of the machine that is the origin of the conflict. Click here to see Microsoft Knowledge Base Article 164903 at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/164903.

In addition, you can run in a situation where you notice that the conflict comes from a system where you have never changed the TCP/IP configuration. In this case, this problem appears randomly and disappears on its own. One of the possible reasons for this behavior could be corruption of ARP cache on the switch to which the two machines are connected. To avoid this problem in the future:
    1. Make sure that both systems have the latest version of the NETWORK card drivers and utility (if installed) Network Configuration.
    2. Make sure that the latest Firmware is on the switch. Check the switch for possible corruption of the ARP cache.

To resolve this issue, you must determine which other computer on the network is using the same media access control address. Several tools shipped with the stack of Microsoft TCP/IP allows you to locate the computer address duplicate.

To isolate the double media access control address, perform the following steps:

Since a client TPC/IP based work:

    1. Ping the TCP/IP address is located in the registry entry from a command prompt by typing the following:

      PING 129.0.0.1

You should get back responses similar to those of the duplicate addressed computer:

Pinging 129.0.0.1 with 32 bytes of data:

            Reply from 129.0.0.1: bytes=32 time=10ms ttl=128
            Reply from 129.0.0.1: bytes=32 time=<10ms ttl=128
            Reply from 129.0.0.1: bytes=32 time=<10ms ttl=128
            Reply from 129.0.0.1: bytes=32 time=<10ms ttl=128

    2. To know the computer media access control address is the duplicate, type the following at the command prompt:
      ARP - a 129.0.0.1

You should get a response back as follows:

            Internet Address Physical Address
129.0.0.1 02:A0:8C:DE:00:FD <-- matches the event log entry

    3. We can now use NBTSTAT to get the NetBIOS (friendly) of duplicate computer name by typing the following at the command prompt:
      NBTSTAT-A 129.0.0.1

You should get a response back with the NetBIOS name of the computer. This NetBIOS name to determine who is the owner of the computer so that you can locate it on your network.

         NAME TYPE STATUS
         -----------------------------------------------
         NTSERVER1 <00> Unique
         DOMAN-NAME <00> GROUP
         NTSERVER1 <03> Unique

Media access control address = 02-A0-8C-DE-00-FD

      If you receive a message:

      HOST NOT FOUND.

This seems to indicate that the computer to double is not an active NetBIOS computer as a server, Novell, Unix server, router or maybe a Jet Direct printer.

    4. When you have found the computer sent duplicate, you can replace the network card, or if a locally administered address (LAA) control media access, change it to be unique on the network.

Changing a LAA can be accomplished as follows:

    1. In Control Panel, double-click the network icon.
    2. While viewing the properties of the network card installed, change the properties or the configuration of the UVG to network adapters installed to use a unique LAA.
  • Files read-only on the network.

Hello.  I use Windows 7 Pro 64 bit.  I have a home network with a second computer (Win XP pro) configuration.  My problem with my Windows 7 computer.  I can create and modify files it contains very well.  However when I access those files on the network, EITHER from the 2nd computer the same computer (which is connected to the computer 1, from computer1, via the network) they open read-only.  The curious symptom is that the files are read-only even when I connect to computer 1 to Computer1.  Any thoughts on this problem?

-Files are not selected in their properties read-only.

-There is only 1 account for both computers on the network, and this user is a member of the Administrators group.

-This happens for all files.  I found an article about a known problem similar to Excel files.  I followed the instructions in this article, does not.

-What happens when the files are located in C:\temp, C:\Users\\Desktop\temp and Documents C:\Users\Public\Public (supposed to be a shared folder).

    Any help would be great.

    Hello

    Check the authorization/security.

Problems of permission and security with Vista/Win7, check the following settings.

Point to a folder that wants to share do right click and choose Properties.

    In the properties

Click on the Security tab shown in the bellows of the photo on the right) and verify that users and their permissions (see photo below Centre and left) are configured correctly. Then do the same for the authorization tab.

This screen shot is to Win 7, Vista menus are similar.

    http://www.ezlan.NET/Win7/permission-security.jpg

The Security Panel and the authorization Panel, you need to highlight each user/group and consider that the authorization controls are verified correctly.

When everything is OK, restart the network (router and computer).

    * Note . The groups and users listed in the screen-shoot are just an example. Your list will focus on how your system is configured.

    * Note . All the users who are allowed to share need to have an account on the computers they are allowed to connect to everyone is an account, that means a group of all users who already have an account now as users. This does not mean everyone who feel they would like to connect.

  • I have only the client connected to the network?

In many networks corporate single IP is distributed DHCP server on each physical ethernet connection.

I could run NAT, but on some networks only my WinXP guest is allowed on the network, which means I want Bridged networking but not my host Mac connected to the network.

In VMware Workstation on Windows, I can do this by removing the Protocol TCP/IP from the network connection on the host just by running Bridged networking.

If I remove IPv4 settings TCP/IP ethernet adapter MacOSX becomes invalid and is not found by merger.

I'd appreciate any help or ideas on how to achieve the goal of only to leave the comments on the network using Mac OS x and VMware Fusion.

    Thank you

If you want to have only the guest access to the physical network Mac OS is on without the Mac itself being able to access it, then you can proceed as follows...

    On the Mac...

Apple menu > System Preferences > network

Select the target adapter and configure it to "Use of DHCP with a manual address" and assign IP address 169.254.x.x.

This will allow the guest operating system to be configured using bridged network and receive an IP address from the DHCP server on the LAN, or you can configure it manually too.

The guest will be able to connect to the host however will not.

  • Direct call of blackBerry curve 8350i blackberry Smartphones

Does anyone know if or how I can access the option to purchase on my 8350i curve. Not talk (PTT) direct. I need to be able to contact emergency personnel when the direct conversation cannot be operational

I think you have your terms mixed up.

'Direct Connect' - what Sprint calls their PTT functionality.

'Direct Talk' - what Sprint calls their "push-to-talk off all digital network that works anywhere, anytime between compatible phones.» ¹ during emergencies or failures of network, or when you are in a remote area, Direct Talk provides a reliable backup communication tool when it matters most. "(taken from the Sprint Web site)

If you are referring to where spend you your mode phone off cellular network to speak live, where you choose a channel and it turns into a walkie-talkie that can communicate with other phones on the same channel where there is no cell signal, then the answer is unfortunately no, you can't do that now.  I think that the only phones that offer this feature are manufactured by Motorola.  However, there is a chance that the feature can be added to the 8350i later via a software update.

  • Emergency calls only

Two weeks ago my G4 motorcycle more suddenly lost network and began to show the only signal of emergency calls.

-Tried to charge the phone several times to solve the problem, but has not solved.

-Check the network signal strength and the signal was.

-Since then, had no other Micro-Sim, phone select Yes couldnot by inserting another SIM card.

-networking, view available, it allows to scan networks and view all networks, but by selecting my network, could not connect and kept showing only emergency call.

Depressed, left my phone and after about an hour, saw that it was automatically connected to the network. Thus, sighed a relief.

But today again the same emergency call only shows. Its been 5 hours already, still haven't any network. As usual, already tried the restart Phone several times.

    My phone is defective?

    Anyone else facing this problem?

I think that your best course of action now would be to use a SIM card of appropriate size.

Please be aware that a badly cut SIM can damage the SIM tray, but let's first try the new SIM card and see if it works.

Tried to remove and reinsert the battery - no joy.

How do I either get my password entered or exit emergency calls only?

    Hello

Resolved to myself.  Already had a digital security password so I tried to put that in.  It was accepted & seemed to allow the network to reconnect that meant while I was off emergency calls only mode & could enter my password safe alpha & enter my phone.

Rather strange but suggested that my SIM card can hold my old password that I used with my last phone.

I'm doing an external Bell at the same time when a Cisco VoIP phone is called.  The environment in which we are is very hard and the ringtone was great before, we have implemented VoIP.

I have the external Bell connected to a FXS port out of my 2800 router.  When I call the number I have on the other hand, it sounds.  I have assigned the same number to a VoIP Cisco Call Manager phone, but it sounds only if I have the 'destination-number 9195551212' removed from the FXS port.

I looked for answers/ideas on the Board and found that some said and use the stcapp option to set the maximum option to 2 or more on the number in the call manager.  However, it made no difference; I can have either the Bell, or the number - but not both.

    Anyone have any ideas?

You can use something like Skype to make outgoing calls. They will not appear on your Bill as they use data rather than on the cellular voice network. You will need to supply a Skype account, but it is quite cheap; as 2 ¢ a minute.

You can also get and use a Google Voice number, but the call to Google Voice will appear on the invoice.

You probably bought an iPhone stolen 6. Mine was stolen in Barcelona in Spain on June 10 by a pick-pocket. Fortunately, there is absolutely nothing you can do to make an iPhone locked to the activation of the work.  You have a paper weight.
