iPad 2, iPrint and JO 8500

The 8500N is supported according to the list of compatible printers in iPrint. However, my iPad is unable to find the printer on the network, but I know that the printer is connected, because we print to it all the time with 2 different computers.

What I'm missing here?

They must be uninstalled but you would need to install new software. The 8500 a uses all new software and drivers that are completely different than previous versions of our software that we have used for years.
