IPad mini stuck in search of updates

After this last version sub update was available (9.3.4) the iPad is in a constant state of updated research and has disabled my ability to turn it off, or use any application that requires a direct wireless communication.

Hello

Try a reboot press and hold the power button / stop and menu button hold both down until you see the apple logo.

It may take 30 seconds.

See you soon

  • iPad 2 Mini stuck in recovery after update.

    Hello

After that I tried to update my iPad 2 Mini 9 IOS to 9.3 via OTA, the iPad was found in recovery mode. As it happened, here's what I tried:

-Restore / update: isn't working, returns an error 9 most of the time, but mostly just a message telling me my iPad is in recovery.

-do the same with several cables USB (official or spare parts), also with another Mac (I use a MacBook Pro usually) and even a PC.

    -updated my iTunes Mac, OSX...

-using obsolete tools like reiboot for the shot on the recovery mode.

    -put in DFU.

I have no idea what to do next. Just to let you know, it has never been jailbroken or dropped on the floor... Nothing. It has always worked perfectly. If it helps, let me tell you what happens when I try to update / restore:

-Once iTunes has downloaded firmware (currently 9.3.1), he does things (extraction, waiting for my iPad...), then once the progress bar appears, if I updated it stops early and the screen flashes blue for a second; If I'm trying to restore the progress bar goes all the way, then the blue flash is displayed.

If anyone has an idea on what I should try, let me know. I don't mind losing my data because I have a backup in iCloud.

    Thanks for your help.

EN 57 is the size of your storage. There is no iPad with 57 GB of memory (live RAM). Have you tried to hold the home and power buttons until the iPad reboots? Also try double clicking the home button and close any open applications.

  • 9 brick iOS update my iPad Mini

I have an iPad Mini 1st generation 64 GB WiFi model, which is stuck in a boot loop. It worked very well with iOS 8.4.1 build 12: 321. I upgraded to iOS9.2 build 13 c 75, but many of my applications were not charged despite having used iTunes with a local backup/restore my MacBookPro (mid 2010 13 "El Capitan running). I then tried to restart the device and decided to do a complete restore of the system via iTunes. While I was doing my system recovery/restore when downloading the iOS that my connection from Time Warner Cable is out for me (as it has particular fact for a lot of people in my area at this time as ISP). My iPad is now stuck in a loop of starting up with the Apple logo showing and then it restarts. I get the iTunes error 4005 and have tried all the things listed on the support page for this error, but also to take it to my local Genius Bar. I am still convinced that this error is entirely software related and because of recent changes with how Apple sign their iOS IPSW to install the OS on their devices.

Apple support, if you read this answer please with a time table for when you create a way for which authorized users can re-sign borked iOS devices and get them running again so they are not left with a brick or a $ $ "repair" which is actually a replacement $100. Also, feel free to send me an email if you want to discuss this issue separately. I understand that privacy and security are involved in it so I want to respect that you can and it will solve as needed even if it is in a public forum).

Yet once again, I assure you that this error is by no fault of mine and am fairly certain that the problem lies in the iCloud of Apple and/or Apple authentication for devices processes. I can't be the only one dealing with this issue, and I would be interested to see if others on this community have similar problems. Please post here if you do, because I think that most messages will help Apple to understand how many people need a real resolution of this issue.

Apple, this can only arise under a problem while iOS updates roll faster and the update is practically necessary. (I have an iPhone 6 and 3 both Mini iPad and I leave them on iOS 9.2 instead of iOS 9.2.1 hoping to find a solution to this particular problem). Update alerts come to me at least every day. I continue to say no, and you're getting pretty annoying. I would like to know that there is a little more stability in environments before upgrading.

Apple support do not go to see this and to provide you with anything whatsoever. I have a Mini 16 GB iPad, who owns the iOS 9.2.1. The issue that caused your boot loop isn't the iOS, but internet disruption admitted that you had. What happened when you brought the device to your Genius Bar appointment? Apple has not any changes to the way they sign their updates to iOS, what would make you think that?

To be honest, I don't expect the iPad Mini (1st generation) for more updates, but this is my opinion. While mine is a few problems with multitasking, I hope it's because the processor and the most recent iOS. There comes a point difficult to manipulate this need for the processor. If you haven't tried, you should put the device into Recovery Mode and to update. If you cannot update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

  • update to 9.3.5 iPad mini

iOS users have recently been warned to proceed with an upgrade to iOS 9.3.5 due to a security problem.

Our iPad Mini is actually run 9.3.4

but when we try to update via the "Général" menu, it is looking for an update constantly.

We tried several times waiting for that, as long as 20 minutes, but with the same result.

Update on an iPod Touch is made easily.

There are no these updates on the App store.

Is this update only for iPhones, or for all iOS devices?

    Thnx

I don't know that it's for all iOS devices. Try to restart the device by simultaneously holding the power button and the "home" button. Keep the keep until it restarts. Release the buttons and restart the verification of updates when you're ready.

  • My mini iPad 7.1.2 iOS (11D257) update check, cannot connect to iTunes to download the update

I had my Mini iPad for years and left on iOS 7.1.2 because it's an older device. I tried to download a new application for my children, so I need to update the iOS. However, when I try to update via the General settings on the iPad, it will just say 'Check updates' for hours. I tried to connect my iPad to the computer and use iTunes to update to a newer iOS, but iTunes does not seem to recognize that my iPad is connected. My iPad is responsible (although slowly, and the iPad claims that it is not supported) and I use the same cord load/update my iPhone 6 on the same PC, so it's not the USB port or the power cord. Any suggestions?

Make sure that you use the latest version of iTunes, 12.4.2 and take a look at this document of support for the troubleshooting steps for getting your device recognized by iTunes. If iTunes does not your iPad, iPhone or iPod - Apple Support

  • A new iPad 9.7 Pro update of and iPad Mini

I have an old iPad Mini (Mini) and a new, an iPad 9.7 Pro (Pro).  I have 185 pdf books, manuals, etc. on the Mini and I'm trying to update the Pro.  In the last two weeks, I spent more than 4 hours with the support of Apple on the phone without success.  The first fight lasted about two hours, and it appeared that the Pro has been updated correctly.  A week later, when I went to get a pdf that I thought had been transferred, I was unable to find it.  That's when I discovered that only 74 of the 185 had been transferred properly.

The basic approach was the Mini to iTunes backup, and then restore it this backup on the Pro.  It obviously doesn't work.  I then called Apple Support again and we have gone through basically the same process.  The Mini to iTunes backup and then restore this backup on the Pro.  All 185 pdfs have been backed up properly on my desktop (Win 8.1), but when this backup has been restored to the Pro, only 74 of the 185 came.  Apple support person and I never got it works.  So now I have to find those who have not been restored and restore each of them individually - 111 pdf files.

This situation is TOTALLY unacceptable.  A couple of years ago, when I bought a new desktop computer, it was a simple matter to move the 'old' stuff on the new computer using a simple transfer program running on the machines and an easy transfer cable special to connect the two computers.  Why I can't get the transfer to work using own Apple programs, I don't know.

Most of my opinions on Apple and their stuff of so-called "user friendly" is printable and really unable to repeat in polite society.

I hope someone reading this can enlighten us on one solution to this problem, other than what seems to be the only solution so far.  Find the missing PDF files and get them on my Pro will take a lot of time.  Time, I'd rather spend pursuing my hobby - photography.  Not only that, even though I am retired, I still have many things to do instead of my photography.

    Both devices work with Airdrop?

If so, why not drop the PDF from the Mini to the Pro - one at a time, but the process is very fast.
