• ID no longer sees my iPad via Folio Builder

  I ran into a problem where InDesign CS6 no longer sees my iPad via Folio Builder.  It was working perfectly for weeks in my version of the app.  Was able to perform unit tests throughout the construction, but for some reason any InDesign no longer sees the iPad.  When I connect the iPad to my macbook pro via USB, iTunes detects and recognizes.  I have all the recent software updates that are installed.  I even reinstalled Adobe Viewer app.  I make sure the viewer Adobe is running on my iPad and the cable is connected.  Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.

  How can I remove a folio in an iphone application? It if not a more gear on a custom application created with DPS App Builder

  Shot from right to left in the 'view' button ib library, it should now blush and show 'delete '.

• Remove Folio Prerelease of multi-Folio Viewer?

  I have a viewer folio and multi-folio in the pre-release software is launched, which is fine. I've recreated the old folio and a new show with a new Viewer. The old folio has been recreated in the new DPS system in order to use the new tools for analytics with it.

  In the documentation of beta sheets he mentions update leaves beta with the old software (although it is still available) and that they will not be recognized by the new system. It doesn't mention anything about Delete them.

  In the test of my new viewer, I have my first version of folio showing along side one recreated (I was hoping with the same product ID it can substitute the earlier when published.) Is it possible to remove the preliminary folio that is currently active for replace with a new? Is it better to just stick with the numbers of download of Apple and go with what it is available for download, but does not part the new DPS system?

  Wes - unfortunately, there is currently no easy way to replace or update a folio created using the Bundler prerelease content. The program team is working on a solution for a next version. In the meantime, if the folio is free instead of the retail, you can use the Bundler content to remove the old folios, as you suggest and use new tools to publish a fact sheet with the same name. But I would not if I could avoid it. Your customers who have downloaded the folio see two identical folios until they delete (archive) of the older folio. If your folio is from detail, I recommend that you maintain on the replacement of the old folio until a better solution of the transition is in place.

  I resynced my ipad removing the old photo files.  I chose a new folder and agreed to delete, but they are still there.  What have I done wrong?

I can see from your post that you encounter problems of withdrawal of the pictures from your device, but also save them on your computer, and I'd be happy to help you with this. If you have created an album on your iPhone by tapping on the sign more, naming and adding photos of her, you can type easily edit and remove this album together at any time. However, the removal of the album does not remove the photos from your iPhone or iPad. It removes only this album. The photos themselves will remain in the collections, albums and photo stream. If you want to delete some photos in an album, you will need to remove the album on your computer , then apply the changes to sync in iTunes. If you want to delete an entire album, just uncheck it in iTunes and sync again.

• Folio on iPad using Windows 7 Preview

  I am currently working on a folio (InDesign CS6) and I would like to have an overview on my iPad using folio Builder as I am not entirely satisfied with the office preview. Is it possible to do without having to put a lot of work in? I mean with iOS, you just connect your iPad to your Mac and it works... (No, it doesn't work with Windows.) A brief tutorial would be nice, couldn't find anything useful on google...

  I found the solution:

  Is a problem with my company firewall. He was blocking access to the Adobe server so my iPad could not connect and receive files. Is there an available list that contains the addresses IP from Adobe to make exceptions in our firewall (I think that the IP address changes every minute or if she is not supposed to take these)?

  I created a viewer Builder application and installed on iPad via iTunes. I sideload some folio and download on iPad everthing works fine. Now, I want to remove folio one or two of the app not all. How can I remove the folios, and what is the best way to do it.

• Seller claiming defective iPad paired to the cloud so will not accept back!

  Hi, I bought a new iPad for my grandson for Christmas, but after black screen a couple of times then completely dies and it doesn't turn at all.  Reported this seller and exchange request. Seller claims the iPad is matched to iCloud and won't return until not matched.  I didn't create a id Apple and nothing more. The seller is simply trying to avoid the Exchange I don't see how he could check this, even if I had paired with iCloud. (I most certainly didn't, unless it is automatic as soon as the apple ID created). Please can anyone with knowledge in this field help me because my grandson begins its back to school soon and I think that I have let down. Thank you.

  Then go to devices on the left side page & ipad removed from the list.

  If you don't have another www.Icloud.com apple device on your PC to remove

  IPad apple ID.

• BlackBerry Smartphones to synchronize Email between Microsoft Outlook on PC and iPad, BB 9700

  I'm trying to sync my e-mail account on my BB 9700, the iPad and the PC (Microsoft Outlook).  The e-mail account is defined as an IMAP account on 3 devices and the only question I have is that when I delete email on the PC or iPad remove more or less immediately on these devices, but they take an age to remove on the BB and I never know will they actually delete on the BB.

  I was wondering is there a setting on the BB that I do not have to control this? Note, however, when I remove on the BB (handheld and mailbox option) delete more or less immediately on the other 2 devices and if it is well synchronized, but for some reason the message to remove is very slow to get to the BB, 2 other devices.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

  Hello!

  There is no parameter, you can control. What quick influences what contains a wide range of variables, so it may not be any prediction about how fast it really will go through. Suffice it to say that, along all the canals (your BB, BIS, your mail server, your other devices) do anything else than sending and reception of new e-mail is a much lower priority. So this includes (if supported) read/unread brand, item sent investments and removed the reconciliation of the element. You can't control how fast these will happen... they happen when they occur, according to all the other variables that come into play. I saw it take 24 hours or more and sometimes even fail completely (no warning, everything doesn't happen).

  Yes, it is possible, but much too much to enter description here.

  You will need ask more specific questions about what you hope to accomplish.

  For what it's worth, make two directions is, IMO, a complete waste of time, effort and money.

• How can I control setting multiplied between status object box & static box w / scrolling image: Folio

  I am trying to find a way to control the InDesign object "multiply" effect layer between a Black w / box state object transparency (which turns out as a transparent grey rather than black) and a static area w / scroll image with the same effect (which turns out correct transparent black dark, rich) parameters? I'm working on an iPad app "Folio" CS6. Thank you in advance!

• Adobe Viewer on iPad updates any more

  After a week with no problems display ID6 folios on my computer and my iPad, my Folio Builder arrested folios on the iPad update two days ago. I can always get a preview of my work on my computer - which doesn't really help

  There are 3 ways to get content on Content Viewer a device:

  1. Local preview via the Folio Builder Panel
  2. Pré-publier overview (download titles w/blue banner on the folio cover image)
  3. Overview of distribution (publish it as free/private & download)

  Can you be specific about what you use to display your content? Also, be specific about the updates you make in the document. If you use #3 above, enter your productID and I can watch the backend to see if there is a problem with your document by our distribution service.

  In addition, to potentially win another loop of communication, please ensure that you have the correct orientation filled in each article. If your folio is one Portrait, landscape-single or double direction, each article must have everything in tact for see you the document, resulting in a viewer.

• Smooth scrolling and snap the items of the same folio style?

  I'm creating an application with 10 items as part of a folio.  Nine of the items work very well in 1024 x 768 (snap style) several sections of the page.  However, an article would be easier if it is a good article vertical scrolling.  Possible to have both types of items in a folio?  When I try this and try to update the article on the ipad, the folio will never update.  For example, I create article smooth scrolling in InDesign to 1024 x 3500 pixel, save and add an article.  The article is added to the constructor of the folio on display as well as the producer of folio online, but I can't see the article on the ipad. Y at - it something I am doing wrong?

  My guess is that when you use the Add button to create the article 1024 x 3500, InDesign is treat as a layout portrait because it is wider than high. To work around this problem, use the import command to import the stack of smooth scrolling.
