IPad stores temporary Internet files?

When I had Windows I always deleted temporary Internet files regularly. What should I do with my iPad and if so, how would you please?

You can erase all the data navigation via settings > Safari > clear the history and data from the Web site (which will remove cookies as well)

Or you can remove individual websites via settings > Safari > advanced > Web site data (Edit Delete up button to the right, or by scanning/drag across a line straight to the left to reveal a button to his right)

  • Why FF uses the IE temporary Internet files directory?

I used Firefox exclusively as my browser for the last 6 months. Recently, I checked my "Temporary Internet Files" folder, where IE stores the pages visited and found complete and up-to-date, even if I had deleted everything that it when I started using FF. Why Firefox stores data here? Please note: on my computer, I have implemented the 'Temporary Internet Files' as folder hidden IE... IT IS NOT THE FF CACHE FOLDER. Thanks for any help.

If you visit a Web site that uses MS plugins like Windows Media Player or Silverlight then these plugins will use the cache (temporary Internet files) Windows than IE also uses.

  • Temporary Internet files: where & how to move on?

How can I determine where (path/folder name) Internet Explorer stores TIF (Temporary Internet Files) as I navigate? And how do I move this TIF folder if I want to?

I have two drives... C:\ is an SSD (programs and applications)... E:\ is a traditional HARD disk (user data).

I worry that if Windows 7 puts this TIF folder (whatever it's called) on the SSD by default. Chips Flash memory having a finite number of write cycles, I'd rather have the TIF folder on the spinning HARD drive, magnetic.

    Please answer

    Hello

Thanks for the display of the query to the Microsoft Community. I will certainly help you to find the answer to your query.

The folder Temporary Internet Files (or cache) is used by Windows Internet Explorer and MSN Explorer to store the contents of the Web page on the hard drive of the computer for a quick consultation. This cache permits Internet Explorer or MSN Explorer download only content that has changed since you last time a Web page, rather than download all content of every time that the page is displayed.

However, Firefox is amazing and I would like if you can provide this option

In Firefox, it is called the cache, for more details of this kind of situation topic: cache in the address bar and press to enter.

For security reasons, the files in the cache are given random file names, so it is hard to see the content. CacheViewer etension can be useful for you.

CCleaner is very useful to get rid of temporary files, you can get it here: http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner you can use it to clean your temporary files, but DO NOT use registry cleaning works, registry cleaning is mainly a useless effort that can cause more harm than good.

  • What's new in "Temporary Internet Files".

Have XP Pro SP3.  Ever day I send items of "Temporary Internet Files" to her recycle bin and delete them.

Last month, I started to see articles such as: REGA82.tmp;  REGA83.tmp; REGC24.tmp.

Can you tell me what they are?  Have tried Wikipedia, Bing, Yahoo, Google and several Microsoft sites without success.

    Thank you.

Here are the temporary files that might have been created by a process or program, or created during the display of a file or a video from any web site.  You can safely ignore or delete them during your cleaning sessions, as you prefer.

  • Can't see hidden files to delete in the folder C:\Documents and Settings\William\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files

C:\Documents and Settings\William\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files folder there are more than 135,000 files; nearly 2,000 cases and close to 3 GB of data. These files do not display and I can't remove them by deleting temporary Internet files. When I try to see the files to help to locate hidden files, only three very small files appear. How can I delete these files? Can I delete the folder and create a new one?

    William

You can also enter your options Internet Explorer (via Control Panel), on the general tab, in the browsing history, there should be a settings button, once there, you should be able to select Show files in the temporary Internet files section.  Who will open the file for you and you can do CTRL + A (select all), and then delete.

Some of the files in the folder may be used, and if they are in use, you will not be able to remove them.  You will need to know what is their use, cannot be used, then delete them.
