Massive battery drain and plenty of RAM consumed by com.sonymobile.intelligent.iengine app

Hi guys,.

After a long time ago, I write this. There are a lot of RAM consumption and use of the battery with the com.sonymobile.intelligent.iengine app. I have attached a print screen for your reference. and my question is how to avoid this and y at - it problems with performance or face losing if I stop this app?

Finally, for what this app (com.sonymobile.intelligent.iengine) belongs to and what are the functions it supports?

It might be a part of the screen smart rotation app... phone finds with front cam which position your face and decides to turn the screen sideways like gyroscope is designed. I don't know but I have all things smart in market, fair, not to mention intelligent rotation and I have this process showed in my phone, so I guess that's not intelligent backlight control or collect smart calling without slipping the green bar. See if you have the smart rotation enabled in the advanced settings screen.

2 days in my Z2 is normal... If I didn't panic at 35%, I could easily continue for 3 days and 4 hours free of charge, but I talk a lot and I try never to go to work with phone less than 60% of the fees.

Use iOS 10 since beta. Around Beta 5 or 6 noticed my iPhone 6 suddenly started battery drains very quickly and also began the statement incorrect autonomy (jumping massive amounts of %).

Continued on the public (10.0.1). version I know that it's a software problem, because three other people I know with iPhone 6 have exactly the same problem with iOS 10. I've seen others suggesting that it is "normal behavior" which occurs because Spotlight indexing / App updates etc. It is not true that I was see this behavior for weeks now since the middle of the period beta.

I already tried to wipe the phone completely (do not restore from backup), and it has changed nothing. Is there a solution or is my only option to try to downgrade to 9.3.5 until a new version of 10 is available that will hopefully solve the problem?

Did someone at Apple aware of this problem? I saw many many posts on these communities with my exact problem.

My app works on a Curve 8900 with os 4.6.1.310

My application for the battery drain did nothing more than before draining. The app has no timer and I just created a new record in RMS at 21:11 and then the battery drain started (I don't have touch the device more after that).

Maybe I use a lot of memory but battery never drain start at the same time and memory seems OK and no different than when it does not drain the battery.

There is no MemoryLeak because after the Garbage collector, I have the same amount of memory.

Is there a mechanism that can work when there is problem of memory like GarbageCollector in the BONE, or maybe that's not a problem of memory, which could drain the battery like that? There is nothing strange in the event log.

How can I get more information such as CPU, or anything else that can help me determine what is happen.

I can't reproduce the problem when I want and not on all my devices. We have change the levels is not a battery problem.

The device is connected to a BES and I disable memorycleaner, wifi, bluetooth, otasync, etc.

I tried with display of genius, but I wasn't able to watch it for the battery drain...

I am really lost and don't know what is coming...

    Please help me

I just found the cause of the problem, this is a loop of paint on a form that contains a custom textfield who painted it is own container which repainted the textfield itself, etc.
I solved the problem with JDE 5.0 and its view of CPU that helps me detect this problem.
    Thanks for your help!

  • iPhone 6 s massive battery drain iOS 9.3.2

After upgrading my iPhone iOS 9.3.2,and 6s I feel huge battery drain. Day before the update, my battery was normal. Usually I lose 30% of 08:00 to 14:00.

Now, after unplugging for 5 minutes, I'm 95% after 3 hours 59% etc.

I tried to set up as new iPhone, installed the new OS with iTunes, but no change.

Off location, off automatic backlight, the signal of the complete network.

What should do? It is obviously a huge problem, because I can't rely on my phone.

I've updated my 6 Plus and have not noticed any radical change on the battery life, good or bad. What you have all services like location, mobile data, updating in the background app, Bluetooth, etc. put on the market and it is what causes the battery?

  • Bug: FastDormancy server maintaining phone awake at all times. Massive battery drain. 32.1.A.1.163/185

Comments to the devs and general FYI for other users.

It seems that the release of Marshmallow to Z5 (compact in my case) has seen the reintroduction of old days of jelly bean bug.

If the network does NOT support fast dormancy, then phone with her forecefully enabled in the firmware will suffer horrible when battery drain the 3 G. Seen for the first time this compact Z1 a couple of years back, and only "Difficulty" at the time was root + change of the file system. Sony has finally fixed. Hoping that it will not take long this time, else this phone becomes useless due to a range of 8 to 10 hours in standby mode.

Can see in the pictures below the phone sleeps perfectly on a Wi - FI connection, but as soon as 3G is involved the tanks of battery.

WLD confirms quick dormancy as the culprit. Do not have this problem on Lollipop.

Thank you for sending me a newspaper!

I have escalated internally and will let you know as soon as I have more information.

  • E530 battery drain and supply Manager problem

    Hello

I don't know how many people answer the question similar than me.

My E530 battery drains 5% a day after power off.

I searched online and someone else has complained about a similar question on his laptop Y series. His problem has been resolved by plugging the power supply cable before turning off the laptop. Lenovo also updated the BIOS on this subject for its model then.

Yesterday I tried his way and the problem disappeared also.

Lenovo update the BIOS on this subject does Thank you.

I also find that the power management mode does not work. He always charges the battery from 96% to 100% in any system, I chose. I tried to uninstall the driver, and downgrade the power manager, still does not work. I tried not to reinstall the system, because it's much too long. Whatever I installed win7 on my SSD?

  • Wondows 8 - big battery drain and other problems

The product name and number: for HP Pavilion dv6-6c30ez laptop

Operating system: Windows 8 PRO 64 bit - updated since the original win 7 64 bit

All changes to your system until the problem occurred: problem starts after the upgrade to Windows 8

Error message (after upgrading to windows 8):

    1. I have problem with fingerprint reader - after startup on desktop always flashes, sometimes does not (installed windows 7 64 bit drivers because the drivers of windows 8 do not exist, here are the drivers for my NB)

I didn't play games only programming in Visual Studio and Eclipse.

    3. my driver for AMD radeon 7400 M Windows has stopped this device because device reported problems. (Code 43)

But I installed all the readers of ATI etc, I m no newbie

I hope you can help me find a solution to my problems eventually recommend some drivers.

And finally I can't downgrade to windows 7 because I buy the upgrade to windows 8 and downgrade possible inst here.

Just to note, a downgrade is still possible using the s system of "recovery disks (either made or purchased from HP system).

Since there is no drivers Windows 8 available, so the system has not yet been certified for Windows 8 (not sure when or if this will be the case). Consult this HP site to get an idea of what to expect during the upgrade to Windows 8.

Before installing anything, make sure that .NET Framework 3.5 is enabled. In Windows 8, it is disabled by default and it is necessary for some legacy programs work properly.

Visit this site hosted by Microsoft to do this. During the installation of Windows 7 software, try to install this compatibility mode. It is possible to navigate to the executable file by opening, by selecting Properties, Compatibility tab, then selecting the compatibility mode. If the installer extracted the files to install, you need perform the step of compatibility from the extracted folder. By default, it is in the folder in c:\swsetup with the respective downloaded file folder (usually the name of the file).

    1. I have problem with fingerprint reader - after startup on desktop always flashes, sometimes does not (installed windows 7 64 bit drivers because the drivers of windows 8 do not exist, here are the drivers for my NB)

You can try to install the driver validity sensor and SimplePass software. However, I will note that it does not on my laptop when I upgraded to Windows 8. This will more than likely need a driver of Windows 8 and software to get this working properly.

    2. my notebook have terrible battery life (3 hours... off wifi, turn off all the settings of all effect set to battery save etc) under windows 7 I 6.5 hours of battery life with same settings - I think my HW but need bios update it is more recent.

If you go to Device Manager and expand the display drivers, you see one the card from AMD and Intel? I ask this as it appears that the system uses switchable graphics since it has downloads for both. If this is the case, graphics switchable currently do not work correctly in Windows 8 with Windows 7 drivers. That means that two video cards are running simultaneously, and it drains the battery very significantly faster than in Winidows 7. It also means that despite what all that may be present, the system will only display using the Intel card and run both drain the battery. Thus, graphically intensive programs may not work correctly because the less powerful GPU will be used primarily.

If there are two graphics cards, which I think is the case, try disabling the AMD card in Device Manager (since it is not really used). It must ask the system to turn off the map and do not use it. It may just be me reading too much into it, but it seemed that the battery has lasted longer, when I disabled the AMD card and used the Intel card only on my laptop when I upgraded to Windows 8.

    3. my driver for AMD radeon 7400 M Windows has stopped this device because device reported problems. (Code 43)

This link is what I found when searching for the site of AMD for Windows 8 mobility drivers. It is more of a generic rather than drivers verification tool
    http://goo.GL/YjFFZ

I could find this former unofficial Preview of Windows 8 client driver.
    http://goo.GL/XvFWy

The consumer preview release pilot isn't an official driver and the absence of an official driver of Windows 8 for the AMD 7400 m GPU may indicate that management in Windows 8 has been eliminated by AMD. You can try to send an email for verification because it's speculation at this point.

If you do not have the recovery disks and don't have not ordered them, then the best option will be to order the recovery disks for back to Windows 7. Driver in Windows 8 architecture is different from what used to earlier versions of Windows, which means that some functions will not correctly work in Windows 8.

I had the same problems with my laptop when I upgraded to Windows 8, but mine was not certified for Windows 8 and I do not expect it to be, because it is more than two years. I hope that this will be a different result for you in the end.

  • After switching to macOS Sierra MacBook Pro MASSIVE battery drain

I have a MacBook Pro of the retina (end 2012) now under macOS Sierra and my battery is to be wiped out at a crazy pace of knots.

I used to be able to go out with my MBP without a power cord and have at least 6-7 hours of use and I run Parallels desktop as well, so when I went out Saturday and got less than 2 hours, I was just a little worried.

I've done just about everything which has been mentioned in conjunction with this issue, including, starting in safemode, NV and PR RAM reset, reset the hardware controller etc, etc nothing works.

Someone at - it any other suggestions, or is this just a waiting game for an update of Apple's Sierra?

Expect indexing to complete.  Then see if it goes back to normal.

  • IPad 2 Air battery drained and does not load after update 9.3

Air iPad 2 (Wifi + cell) battery has completely evacuated and no charge since after update 9.3. Update my device was 100% of the fees. Subsequently, when the update was finished, the Unit continued to lose the load during use (I got the full enjoyment on the charge) and does not charge even on not trying to load intermittently and for long periods. Once the load is complete evacuated after considerable use, I was unable to see the unit after 2-3% fees.

I have restored and updated the device via iTunes, but the problem persists, and I see a battery on the scree with 3 red lines. When I take off the charge cable, I get a black screen with battery 3 red lines and a chart of the charging cable.

I had once the apple logo and the ipad started and I had the interface momentarily, but he lost.

I have been struggling with this for the last 4 days and have tried almost every single suggestion there. Connection to the support of people was not possible on the web. And I am currently in another country where he sold the IPad to be able to switch the device back to the Apple Store to have checked out it during the warranty.

    Any suggestions are welcome. TIA.

Well, I had the camera to load up to 61% where it is blocked again.

Here's what I did that I had not done earlier out of the many resolutions that I tried from that provided in the forums and on the internet-

I put the IPad for a couple of hours in his keyboard case and then all located in a thin cloth and put it on charge, ostensibly to warm a little battery. The warm-up was suggested in another thread, where a person even went to the extreme of using a fan hair dryer to warm the device. After a few hours, he did to load up to 60%, I got it out to check if it worked.

Maybe I shouldn't have checked and waited a little longer, because the IPad is now stuck at 59 to 61% for the last 14 hours for free. I still struggle to go beyond this percentage, but at least I can use the device. Is there something I can do now to improve the percentage of charge? I tried the resets and even restored and updated the iOS through iTunes.

    Hope the above helps someone.

  • Plu work of blackBerry Q5 BB Q 5 No, the battery drained and not coming up again

My Q5 fear that seemed to be brain dead. The battery was flat, I tried to charge it up but the cord were not good enough, I had other cords still refuses to pick it up. She is eventually evacuated. CAN is more responsible and not to come.

Likewise, there was no red light.

What can I do?  All information taken in the trap, I'm just...

    Help please...

I would like to start with a real BlackBerry charger that works. Plug in the appliance and leave it for two or three hours. See if it boots finally on his own. If this is not the case, press the power for 10 seconds. If the unit starts, let it finish loading. If this is not the case, repeat after an hour or two.

Leaving the device on link can possibly charge it enough for the boot device, but it could take much longer.

  • iPhone 4S heating quickly, turn off the power and the battery drains quickly.

    Hello

My problem is exactly the same as the title. My iPhone 4S warms up quickly, turn it off and after I turn the iPhone, the battery drains quickly and the iPhone will turn off after 5 minutes. iPhone turns off again and again until I put the iPhone on the charger. It is bad because I like to play games like Pokémon GO. But after 10 minutes of play, the iPhone starts heating (and of course delay).

Things I've tried: (and didn't work)

The apps I use no fence. (I close applications once I stop playing)

Turn off location Services. (Enabled only when I'm with apps like GPS...)

    Reduce the brightness

I will be grateful for any kind of help.

Welcome to Apple Support communities, Krystof11cze.

It seems that you encounter problems with your iPhone 4S on iOS 9.2.1 with heating, battery draining and stopping. Good job on the steps you tried as I would have recommended those as well. I will do my best to help!

    1. backup of your iOS device - because I have erase you your iPhone completely, it is strongly recommended that you will lose your data if you do not.

    2. restore your device to factory settings - using the settings on your iPhone will only erase your personal data. You will need to let iTunes erase the iOS version installed a new clean copy can take place.

3 test the question - the first time through, set up your iPhone as a new iPhone when it asks. It's just temporary. You can connect to iTunes and App Store and iCloud and also download some of your applications. Test for problems you encounter. If your iPhone's battery life is improved, follow the next step.

    4. restore your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch from a backup

    Take care!

  • battery drains

After the update on the latest ios 9.3.3 my i phone 6 s plus has significant increase battery drain. Literally about 15-20% faster battery drains and so far this update he kills.

    Hello Nikobg,

I see several reasons why there is a drains of battery on your phone.

There may be apps that particularly uses a lot of battery. You can check by going to settings > > battery > > battery use.

Or it is possible that your data streaming (LTE, 2G, 3G, 4G, etc) device may use a large part of the battery. In this case, turn on airplane mode to restrict your device up to date constantly, which empties the batteries.

It also is a way to downgrade your iPhone, by connecting to iTunes on your MacBook or iMac, and then you can restore your device from the previous link to the top.

If nothing above don't seem to work, also try to restore the device (it will reset everything to factory settings), which will help destroy just about everything.

    Hope this helped,

    Sali.

  • IPad Air battery drain after 9.2.1 Update :(

Since the update to 9.2.-, the battery life of my faithful Air iPad seems to be screwed.

I think I was on IOS 8 or something before, when they were still on the right, instead of being now on the left, as they used to be with my first iPad. Battery drain is ridiculous now.

I looked for solutions and made the thing to hard reboot (power button / stop and the home, flamed Maple logo button, restart, etc.) more times than I can count and have asked the entire farm advice I can find to save ((change of email to extraction, manual instead of push, turning off the motion auto-updates off (, the app update, etc.) without success

What bothers me most is that even when it is plugged in and over, if I use it, the battery is still visibly draining.

Reluctant to a backup of a computer and a complete reset from zero, last resort, obvs.

If anyone has the answer? Or are we supposed to expect that Apple to orovide another patch to sort?

Advice or suggestions received with gratitude, I don't want to take the risk of roll back to IOS 9 or 9.1 either - from what I've seen online, there was too much battery drain issues with those, too.

Come on, Apple! It is simply not good enough!  My iPad has lost 3% just to write this! While that plugged!

According to the useage thing battery in parameters, 85% of it is down to Safari. My use of Safari has not changed at all.

Impossible to find a suitable place really that Apple give me an option after that, so stick under the Safari option as all the rest has nothing to do with my question bsttery, he had nothing remotely applicable under 'software update' - which was on windows! If someone can tell me a better place to put this, I would be grateful. Newbie on this forum :/

    Thanks for reading,

Some iOS processes tend to run constantly in the background.

Make sure that you don't have a lot of applications running in the background in the app selector (less than say 8 apps).

Keep the screen brightness down to somewhere between the two allows 40-60% or more with the longevity of the battery.

You can try my list of suggestions to see id that this helps with both performance AND battery life.

Some of these may be superfluous, so try the ones you haven't tried.

Try to reset all the settings in the settings under general app and in the right column under restore.

Try stories reset and delete/reset the caches in all web browsers you use.

If you use Safari, these features may be in the application settings under Safari.

Other browsers have their settings inside the running application itself.

If your iPad has been activated for iCloud, in the application settings under iCloud, to the right, under iCloud Drive, type in iCloud drive and make sure that Safari is off to save data from Safari to iCloud by car.

Also, under iCloud in the application settings, in iCloud Drive, turn the feature off saving for all other desired apps DO NOT the data automatically on iCloud drive.

In the application settings tab general, right under the spotlight sesrch, try disable the search under the applications who really don't need a research, as some games, remote controls, apps that are really useless to be searched, etc., in order to reduce the list to Spotlight search.

Try to turn the reduced movement.

This is found in the application of settings in the general tab, in the left panel.

In the right panel, look under accessibility, look to reduce the Motion and turn this feature "On".

You should see a significant performance increase on all models of iPad 2, 3 and 4.

In the application settings under the general tab, in the right column, search background App update and enable this setting to "off".

If you are willing to do (I, personally, would not recommend this), some users have reported that turn off find my phone/iPad, in the settings app in iCloud, has improved the performance of iOS, although I have no how this feature could be the cause of such a slowdown in execution, unless it's a bug in the iOS which only affects some iPad users.

Try an another hard reset of your iPad by simultaneously pressing buttons Home and sleep/wake button until your iPad goes to the dark and restarts with the Apple logo, then release the buttons.

    Good luck!

  • During Hibernation battery drain

Battery of my PC laptop Lenovo X61s (Vista Business) drains approximately 5-8% during hibernation (about 8 hours).

Lenovo has confirmed the battery drain and sent me a patch. However, he has not recently, after some Vista/Lenovo updates.

When I bought the PC, the battery drain did not. The problem appeared after some Vista/Lenovo updates. The only workarounds are:

    1. remove the battery for a brief second and reattach.
    2. remove the AC adapter before hibernation.
    3. use Shutdown instead of Hibernation.
    4. do not install updates/patches after complete reinstallation of Vista.

The battery drain issue seems to affect other Lenovo, Dell and other brands as models. I think the problem has to do with Vista and all the patches. Does anyone have a solution?

    Hi all

battery drain can be caused by a number of reasons. Most of them is meant to be like this (ability to Wake-on-lan, wake-up regular tasks, hybrid sleep, etc.). Others are "bugs", they are not supposed to use the power during hibernation. Trying to eliminate battery drain, ALL possible factors must be addressed, otherwise drain may still be the case.

If there is no flow during hibernation on battery power or hibernation and briefly put (and re-insertion) the battery later, the High Definition Audio Controller is most likely the culprit. Applying the fix mentioned above should solve the problem.

If there are brains, then you must look in all other possible causes first. The High Definition Audio Controller can still be selected feeding when hibernation while that looted and do not remove the battery by the suite, but you will be only once all other causes have been eliminated (and at least one will be the case). In rare cases, a bad battery will be the reason.

Please see the following thread and those related to it in order to check most of the other causes of energy during hibernation:
